Blackberry Cookie is a Rare Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom, built around the Magic archetype. Magic Cookies deal high single-target or area magic damage from the middle line. Rare Cookies fill out your bench during early progression — useful at low levels, generally benched as you climb. The current Mythras-tested loadout runs Chocolate x5, with a Legendary Zesty beascuit and a Chocolate tart for Cooldown.
Magic Cookies sit one row back from the front and threaten the enemy backline without absorbing chip damage. Their skills usually drop a large single-target nuke or a wide AoE that the rest of the team builds toward. Magic is the workhorse damage type for Arena and Cake Tower in 2026. Most top comps run at least one Magic DPS, and the best ones anchor the whole formation. They live or die by their cooldown uptime, so build them for skill cycling first and raw scaling second.
| Mode | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| PvE Story | S | Highest single-target damage scales through the whole campaign. |
| Kingdom Arena | S | Top Magic DPS anchor the meta comp. |
| Guild Battle | A | Burst bosses love a Magic DPS in the middle line. |
| Cake Tower | A | High-tier picks clear floors that auto-modes cannot. |
| Beast-Yeast | A | Strong against the high-HP bosses in the deeper zones. |
Mode fit ratings are based on the cookie's archetype, not their specific kit. A Rare Magic that's S-rated for a mode may still need build investment to actually clear top-tier content there.
Magic Cookies pair best with Charge tanks in front and Healing or Support Cookies in the back. Dark Enchantress plus Venom Dough is the current go-to damage core. Timekeeper plus Sugar Swan covers the anti-revive lane. Avoid stacking two Magic DPS in one team unless your front line is built like a wall.
Topping Substat Priority
Why This Build
This is a Swift Chocolate cooldown build. Five Chocolates push skill cooldown down, which is everything for cookies whose value lives in their active skill. Debuffers, supports, anti-revive. Sub-stat priority is CD first, then DMG Resist for survivability, then ATK to keep auto-attacks relevant between casts.
Build Tips
Legendary Beascuit: Standard Legendary quality is optimal for this cookie. Remember to fully attune all 4 symbols.
Cooldown Priority: Cooldown is the most valuable substat. Aim for the highest CD rolls possible on your toppings.
Tart Connection: Always connect your Chocolate Tart to the toppings for the 6-piece set bonus substats.
Keep stats in purple range. Reset Beascuits until you hit optimal percentages (aim for 15%).
Trivial to obtain through story drops and basic gacha.
Low investment priority. Useful early progression filler. Bench as you climb past Champion in Arena.
Skip Magic Candy on Rares unless you specifically need one for an event-restricted team.
