Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-02

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Mythras // The Multiverse (“Mythras”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit gamertagmythras.com (the “Site”) or interact with our content. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Mythras is an independent gaming creator brand operated by an individual in the United States. We are not affiliated with Devsisters Corp. or any other game publisher mentioned on the Site.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you fill out our contact form, we receive whatever you choose to enter — typically a name, email address, subject line, and message. We do not require an account to use the Site.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically receive standard log information when you visit, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used to understand traffic patterns and improve the Site.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

There is no advertising on this Site, and therefore no advertising cookies. We removed display ads entirely. What is left is a short list:

  • Strictly necessary storage — required for the Site to function. This is your consent choice itself: a browser local-storage entry (mythras-consent-v2) plus a matching mythras-consent cookie set on .gamertagmythras.com, so that one decision also covers our community app at multiverse.gamertagmythras.com and we do not have to ask again on every page.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0NF282ERV6), primarily the _ga and _ga_* cookies, to count visits and understand which guides people actually read. These are only set once analytics storage is allowed.

How consent works here

On your first visit a banner asks whether to allow analytics. What happens before you answer depends on where you are, because the law does:

  • In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, the Site sets Google Consent Mode v2 to denied for analytics storage until you choose Accept analytics. Google Analytics still loads, but it receives that denied signal and sends cookieless measurement pings instead of setting its own cookies.
  • Everywhere else, including the United States, analytics storage is enabled by default and you can switch it off at any time — from the banner, or afterwards via Cookie settings in the footer. This is the opt-out model those jurisdictions use.

We declare that regional split to Google using the region parameter of Consent Mode; Google determines which rule applies to you from your IP address. We do not geolocate you ourselves and we do not store your location.

Choosing Accept analytics allows those cookies. Choosing Reject analytics goes further than switching them off: we do not load Google Analytics at all on your later visits — no script, no request to Google, no measurement pings. The Site stays fully usable either way. A rejection is honoured wherever you are, not only in the regions that require it. Your choice is stored in your browser and re-applied on later visits.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page — withdrawing is exactly as easy as granting. Clearing your browser storage also resets it, and the banner will ask again. You can additionally disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Site may not work properly without them.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures Site traffic. This is the only third-party tag on the Site. Google privacy policy. You can install the GA opt-out browser add-on to block GA tracking.
  • Netlify — hosts the Site and processes contact-form submissions through its Forms feature. Netlify privacy.
  • YouTube and Twitch embeds — some pages embed videos. Those embeds set cookies from YouTube (Google) and Twitch (Amazon) and are subject to their own privacy policies.
  • Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs — product links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site (Amazon, TCGplayer, and similar) receives the referral and may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. We never receive your name, address, or payment details from those purchases — only aggregate earnings reports. Amazon privacy notice. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

The Site is supported by affiliate links, our own store, direct reader support, and sponsorships arranged directly with us. A sponsorship is ordinary labelled content — it does not add a third-party ad network, tracker, or cookie to the Site. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it does.

5. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • To respond to contact-form submissions;
  • To measure traffic and content performance via analytics;
  • To count clicks on affiliate links so we know which recommendations are useful;
  • To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues;
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never hand over contact-form submissions to anyone. We also do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as the CCPA/CPRA uses that term — there is no advertising network on the Site to share it with. Analytics remains your choice: Reject analytics in the consent banner, or Cookie settings in the footer at any time afterwards, and that is also our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information mechanism.

6. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you;
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing;
  • The right to withdraw consent to analytics at any time;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

EEA/UK/Swiss residents have rights under the GDPR. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email gamertagmythras@gmail.com.

For the analytics opt-out specifically you do not need to email anyone: use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. It is available on every visit and takes effect immediately.

8. Data retention and security

We retain contact-form submissions and standard server logs only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected, after which they are deleted or anonymized. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Links to other sites

The Site contains links to third-party sites (YouTube channels, Twitch, Discord, the Cookie Run Kingdom Wiki, and others). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their policies before providing information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or via an in-page notice for at least 30 days.
