CRK Resonant Toppings — All 38 Sets and Who Can Use Them
A Resonant Topping is not a prettier Searing Raspberry. It draws its bonus effects from a six-stat pool with higher floors instead of the ten-stat pool a normal Epic Topping uses — and the worst ATK roll it can give you is the average roll on a normal one.

MTG Commander Banned List: Every Card and Why
Wizards' banned list page gives Commander 42 card names and four lines of small print. Scryfall says the real number is 83. The gap is 41 cards banned by category rather than by name — Conspiracies, ante cards, and the seven banned everywhere for offensive content. Here is the entire list, grouped by what each card actually does, plus the one change the Commander Format Panel made this year.

Cookie Run: Braverse Organized Play, From Store to Worlds
Devsisters announced a third North America Regional season on August 27, and it sits on a four-rung competitive ladder that almost nothing in the card database will tell you about. Here is the whole structure - who qualifies for what, how Brave Points and Cookie Coins are actually scored, the dates still ahead this year, and the Worlds date the published Road Map gets wrong.

Roblox Luau Type Checking: nocheck, nonstrict, strict
Roblox says every script used to default to no typechecking. That is no longer how it works: a Workspace property now sets the default mode, projects using only nocheck and nonstrict were moved to the New Type Solver automatically, and strict mode projects were not. Here is what each mode reports, what the new solver changed, and the annotation syntax that covers most code.

PUBG Secondary Password: How to Set It Up for Ranked
Since Update 39.2 went live on 7 January 2026, PC players cannot enter Rank Mode without a 6-8 digit secondary password tied to a real mobile number — and neither can anyone in their party. Here is the setup flow, the 24-hour re-entry rule, the SMS limits that strand people mid-setup, the reset path when the phone number is gone, and the account-theft unban allowance that having one turns from once-ever into twice a year.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 POIs and Chest Counts
Three named locations went in the bin when Override launched, and three video-game-themed ones took their slots. Here is the full current roster of the Shattered Coast, plus the chest, ammo box and Reboot Van numbers the Fortnite Wiki has on record for the ten that survived — and an honest note about which four have no numbers at all.

Minecraft Music Discs: Every Disc and How to Get It
Twelve of the 22 music discs come from a creeper killed by a skeleton or one of its variants. The other ten come from ten different places, and eight of those are a structure. Here is every disc, its composer, its length, its odds, and the comparator value it puts out — including the seven signal levels that two different discs now share.

Genshin Snezhnaya Farming Guide — Domains, Days, Drops
Version 7.0 dropped three permanent domains, two normal bosses, four enemy drop families and two local specialties into Snezhnaya — and locked the whole nation behind a single Archon Quest. Here is what each source pays, which day it pays it, and who on your account is actually waiting for it.

Elden Ring Endings: All 6, and What Locks You Out
Elden Ring has six endings and exactly one of them asks nothing of you. The other five are the tail ends of questlines you have to start hours earlier, one of them cannot be collected until after you have burned the Erdtree, and one of them quietly deletes the other five the moment you touch it. Here is the whole dependency map.

Baldur's Gate 3 Approval: Thresholds and Romance Numbers
The approval bar on a companion's character sheet shows you a category. The scripts behind it check integers, and the two do not line up — Gale's Mystra scene wants 36, Minthara's romance wants 31, and neither number has a band boundary anywhere near it. Here is the threshold table, the per-companion romance numbers the wiki documents, and the things that quietly cost you ten points.

CS2 Map Pool: Every Active Duty Swap Since Launch
Counter-Strike 2 has run on seven Active Duty maps every day of its life, and Valve has changed that seven exactly five times. Every change was a straight one-in, one-out, four of the five landed on the first day of a Premier season, and you can rebuild the launch pool from the release notes alone. Here is the whole timeline, dated.

The Witcher 3 Remastered: Who Gets the Free Upgrade
CD PROJEKT RED announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered at gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25. It arrives September 29 as a free upgrade on five storefronts, a pre-purchase on two others, and it drags the PC minimum requirements up to Windows 11 and an SSD on the way through.

Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition: What It Adds
Nintendo never published a resolution or a frame rate for the Switch 2 Edition of Breath of the Wild, which makes the performance pitch hard to argue about. The part you can actually pin down is Zelda Notes — eight features, 125 new Voice Memories, and 19 medals that only exist on this version.

Ocarina of Time Ganon's Castle: All 6 Barrier Trials
Ganon's Castle is six short dungeons wrapped around one locked spindle, and the Medallions you spent the whole game collecting are not what opens it. Here is what each barrier room actually asks for, the one trial that has to come first, and the climb to the organ.

A Link to the Past Death Guide: Every Respawn Point
A Game Over in A Link to the Past does not cost you a rupee, a bomb, an arrow or a small key. It costs you position, four escort quests, and a number the credits will read back to you at the end. Here is the whole death routine, read off the code that runs it.

Super Mario 64 Cool Cool Mountain Guide: All 7 Stars
Cool, Cool Mountain has two wrong answers built into it: two baby penguins, of which only the one at the summit is the one the Mother Penguin accepts, and a slide shortcut the game actively watches for during the Big Penguin Race. Here is every star, both traps, the full coin breakdown, and what the DS remake changes.

Half-Life 2 RTX: Is It Out? What the Demo Contains
Half-Life 2 RTX was announced at gamescom 2023. Three gamescoms later, with the 2026 show closing today, the only thing you can install is a two-chapter demo that has not been patched since May 2025. Here is exactly what exists, what it needs, and what has never been dated.

The Last of Us Part 2 Lost Levels: All Three Explained
Part II Remastered ships three playable sequences Naughty Dog cut before release, filed under a menu heading that reads like liner notes. Here is where they are, what is in each one, which parts of them survived into the finished game, and why none of them is worth a single trophy.

RE4 Remake Attaché Case Guide: All 7 Cases and Effects
The case you equip in the Resident Evil 4 remake is a drop-rate modifier wearing a skin. Here are all seven, what each one boosts, the 20 spinel Leon pays for the two buyable ones, and why the Gold and Classic cases you thought you missed are still on sale.

Which Resident Evil Games Should You Play Before Requiem?
You do not need to play nine games to understand Requiem. You need one, maybe two. Here is the honest catch-up list, what each one actually sets up, and what you can skip without missing anything.

Tetris Downstacking: How to Dig Out of Garbage
Garbage is not one obstacle, it is two. Where the hole column sits from row to row decides whether six lines cost you one piece or six, and TETR.IO scores the lines you dig out at exactly the same rate as the lines you send.

What Mina the Hollower Is Actually Made Of: Zelda, Castlevania, Bloodborne
"It's like Zelda" is the laziest thing you can say about Mina the Hollower, and it is only about a third true. Yacht Club has been unusually specific about what it stole and from where, so here is the actual recipe.

Pokopia Fossils: All 9 Fossil Pokemon and the 22 Pieces
Nine of the 300 Pokedex slots in Pokopia cannot be terraformed into existence. Cranidos, Aerodactyl, Tyrantrum and the rest do not answer a tall-grass patch or a cave — they answer a skeleton mounted on an exhibition stand, and the bones come out of glowing blocks scattered across five areas. Twenty-two fossil pieces, nine displays, and one of them takes five separate finds before it is worth anything.

Crimson Desert 2.0 Reset Your Skills: Abyss Link Explained
The Enhanced update shipped on August 25 and the first thing it did was empty your skill tree. That is not a bug — Pearl Abyss rebuilt the skill economy around a new resource called Abyss Link, refunded everything you had spent, and made resets per-character. Here is the new arithmetic, and the eight skills Kliff can now buy.

Pokémon TCG Prerelease: Build & Battle Box, 40-Card Decks
A Prerelease is the one Pokémon TCG event where the entry fee is the deck. It is also a different game to the one on the Championship Series circuit: 40 cards, no copy limit, four Prize cards. Here is what the Tournament Handbook and the Play! Pokémon organizer guide actually say about Limited play, and what the maths does when you cut two Prizes out of the game.

Disney Lorcana Uninkable Cards: All 585, and How to Ink One
The inkwell symbol is the first rule Lorcana teaches and the last one anybody puts a number on. Here is the whole uninkable pool counted off the live card data - 585 of 2,476 cards - cut by rarity, cost, type and ink, plus the Comprehensive Rules clause that lets five specific cards put an uninkable card into your inkwell anyway.

Tears of the Kingdom Shrines: 51 of 152 Have No Puzzle
Tears of the Kingdom has 152 Shrines of Light, and a third of them contain nothing to solve. Here is the full census — every shrine sorted by trial type and by region, what the 51 blessing chests actually hold, and why the puzzle moved outside the door.

Riftbound Barcelona Meta: Who Actually Made Day 2
Riot published the full Legend breakdown from Regional Qualifier Barcelona - 2,130 players on Saturday, 379 on Sunday, 41 Legends, two columns of counts. Divide one column by the other and you get the number that actually says who showed up versus who survived, and the Legend that won the event is not near the top of it.

Gundam Card Game Commands - All 145, and When to Play Them
Comprehensive Rules 9-2 makes Command the only card type in the Gundam Card Game you can play out of your hand on someone else's turn, and whether a given Command can is written on one line of the card: 84 of the 145 Commands in the game carry an Action effect, which Bandai's own FAQ says can be played during your action steps or your opponent's. I read the timing line off all 145 of them, then counted what Bandai actually puts in its own 41 decklists - and 15 of those lists run none of it at all.

Palworld TCG Rulings - All 97 and the Most-Ruled Cards
The Palworld TCG shipped with an official Q&A of 97 entries and has not added or revised one since. Pulling the whole database and sorting it by card shows where the game is genuinely hard: 45 of the 97 are wording rules that apply to cards nobody has printed yet, only 26 of the 166 cards ever earned a card-specific answer, and four cards account for 16 of the 32 that exist.

Naruto Card Game Rules Text: 15 Life, 4 Card Backs
The NARUTO CARD GAME sample cards that circulated around Gen Con were full-art showcase pieces with no text box, and the honest summary at the time was that Bandai had published no card text at all. That is no longer the case. Bandai's own ABOUT page carries seven cards with printed rules text, sitting in the card-type and how-to-play blocks rather than the showcase gallery, and between them they cover three of the gaps our launch coverage listed as unknown: the Leader's starting Life, how a Chakra cost is notated, and what the keyword vocabulary looks like.

gamescom Award 2026 Winners: All 19 Categories
The gamescom award is the one part of the show that produces a result you can check rather than a trailer you have to wait on. Nineteen categories were handed out on Friday, August 28 at the gamescom studio stage: CD PROJEKT RED and SEGA took three each, Capcom and Ubisoft two each, and the most-nominated game of the whole show converted exactly one of its five shots. Here is every winner, the nomination-to-win math, the seven criteria the jury scores, and the entry fee nobody puts in the headline.

Cyberpunk TCG Comprehensive Rules: 10 Rulings That Bite
WeirdCo published the Cyberpunk TCG Comprehensive Rules on 28 August 2026 — 11 numbered sections and 660 numbered rules, thirteen days before the first Beta Events. It is the first public document that answers rules arguments rather than teaching the game, and ten of its rulings change decisions you would otherwise make from the Gameplay Guide alone. It also contradicts itself in three places.

CRK Bonds Guide — All 30 Bonds and Which to Max First
A Bond pays out on its weakest member. That one rule turns 30 story vignettes into a ranked shopping list — and 25 of the 30 are payable entirely in Dark Mode soulstones rather than gacha luck.

MTG Arena Wildcards: What a Rare Actually Costs
Arena will not tell you what a Mythic Wildcard costs. Wizards does publish every input, though — the Wildcard Track cadence, the pack drop rates, the Vault threshold and the daily win ladder. Multiply them out and a mythic playset is 60 packs, which is 80 days of maxed-out daily wins. Here is the whole conversion table.

Cookie Run: Braverse Errata List - All 29 Corrected Cards
Devsisters has published corrections to the printed text of 29 Cookie Run: Braverse cards. One of them changes an Item into a Trap. Another turns a card that could only trash your own Cookie into one that can trash theirs. And on 24 of the 29, the official card database still serves the wording that was corrected.

Roblox Parallel Luau: What Actually Runs in Parallel
Roblox runs your scripts on one thread until you opt in twice — once by parenting a script to an Actor, once by desynchronizing it. Then the rules change: you can raycast in parallel but not Shapecast, read tags but not add them, and fire no remotes at all. Here is the actual allow-list, straight off the class reference.

What Is PUBG: Playgrounds? Community Modes Explained
Update 42.3 gave community-created PUBG modes their own tab in the Play menu and their own matchmaking. Here is what PUBG: Playgrounds contains, the tag system it sorts modes by, the gameplay data KRAFTON uses to decide which modes get in, and the $95,000 CurseForge contest whose submission window closes on 2 September.

Fortnite Admin Panel Codes and How Override Hacks Work
Chapter 7 Season 4 put a cheat-code prompt in the Fortnite lobby. Type the right string into the Admin Panel and you get 40,000 XP, Sprite Dust or a Sprite you would otherwise grind for — and that is only one of four separate hack systems Epic shipped in v42.00. Here is the code list and what the other three actually do.

Minecraft Bundle Guide: What Actually Fits Inside One
A bundle does not give you extra storage. It gives you one stack's worth of space that can hold mixed items, and the exchange rate is set by each item's stack size — so 64 cobblestone fit, 16 ender pearls fill it completely, and a single sword fills it on its own. Here is the full capacity math, both control schemes, the nesting rules, and where bundles generate.

Genshin Shadow Realm Guide — Firearms, Ammo, Rewards
Version 7.0 dropped a third-person shooter inside Genshin Impact. Your roster, artifacts, food and jump button do not come with you — the Traveler enters on base stats of 3,000 HP and 1,000 ATK carrying two guns and a grenade. Here are the three firearms and their numbers, the four frag crystals, where ammo comes from, and every unlock gate between you and the Edge of Survival scoreboard.
![The Golden Rune [13] item icon from Elden Ring, the largest of the standard Golden Rune consumables at 10,000 runes.](/images/blog/elden-ring/elden-ring-rune-cost-per-level/golden-rune-13.webp)
Elden Ring Rune Cost Per Level: The Full Price Curve
Your first level costs 673 runes. Your 150th costs 153,680 — more than killing Morgott. Elden Ring never shows you the curve you are climbing, only the number for the next step, and the shape of that curve decides when leveling stops being the best thing you can do with your runes.

Baldur's Gate 3 Reactions: Why Yours Did Not Trigger
Every creature in Baldur's Gate 3 carries exactly one Reaction charge and gets it back at the start of its turn. What that charge can answer is narrower than the tooltips suggest: the game decides which reactions are eligible for an event before any of them resolve, and whole categories of damage and saving throws are invisible to the system entirely. Here is the reaction list by source and cost, the rules that gate it, and the bugs the wiki has documented on top.

CS2 AUG vs SG 553: The 100-Damage Headshot Problem
The AUG deals exactly 100 damage to a helmeted head, and exactly 100 damage across four shots to an armored chest. Both thresholds are lethal by a margin of zero, which is a very different gun to own than the SG 553 — the one assault rifle in Counter-Strike 2 whose damage armor does not reduce at all. Here is the full rifle table, with the arithmetic done.

The Witcher 3 General Skills: Which Ones Deserve a Slot
Two red mutagens on the same character panel, three slots each, and one reads +40% Attack power while the other reads +30%. The difference is a single brown icon. Here is the full General tree, the exact price of slotting one, and the four abilities that pay it back.

Breath of the Wild Hyrule Compendium: All 385 Entries
The Hyrule Compendium has 385 entries in the base game, 394 with everything switched on, and one entry that Symin will never sell you no matter how many rupees you wave at him. Here is the whole register, the shop that fills the gaps, and the reward at the end.

Ocarina of Time Fire Temple: 9 Gorons and 8 Small Keys
The Fire Temple is a jailbreak with a dungeon built around it. Nine Gorons sit behind nine cell doors, and the keys, the Boss Key and the route out all come from opening them. Here is the whole rescue in order, plus the tunic and the song you want sorted before you walk in.

A Link to the Past GBA Riddle Quest: All 10 Answers
Ten one-line clues, ten things to scoop up with the Bug-Catching Net, and a sword technique at the end of it. The Riddle Quest only exists on the Game Boy Advance cartridge, and it will not start until you have won ten Medals of Courage in Four Swords.

Super Mario 64 Dire Dire Docks Guide: All 7 Stars in Order
Dire, Dire Docks has a before and an after. Beating Bowser in the Fire Sea takes the submarine out of the course and puts poles across the ceiling in its place, and one of the seven stars cannot be taken until that has happened. Here is every star, the order that stops the course fighting you, the chest sequence, and where all 106 coins sit.

Half-Life 2 VR Mod: What It Needs and What It Changes
Half-Life 2 has a full roomscale VR conversion, it costs nothing, both episodes have one too, and it just got its first patch note on Steam in over two years. It is also not the version of Half-Life 2 you think it is: the VR build is a separate install that the 20th Anniversary Update never reached.

The Last of Us Part 2 Collectibles: All 286 by Type
Part II counts 286 collectibles, but only 215 of them are what the wiki files as collectibles. The rest are journal entries, workbenches, safes and guns. Here is the full split by type, which of the two protagonists can physically pick up each one, and the twelve trophies that hang off finding them.

RE4 Remake Shooting Range Guide: All 12 Courses, S Ranks
Four ranges, twelve courses, and a token machine that is not the slot machine it looks like. Here is every course with its locked weapon set and score thresholds, why a sailor target costs you 500 points, and the 2,100 CP the range pays out if you clear it properly.

Resident Evil Requiem Challenges: All 62 and What CP Actually Buys
Infinite ammo costs 50,000 CP. Forty-six of Requiem's fifty-one story challenges, combined, pay 35,000. The unlock economy is front-loaded onto five brutal runs, and nobody tells you that up front.

TETR.IO Ranks Explained: TR, Percentiles and Cutoffs
A Tetra League letter is not a skill score, it is a slice of the leaderboard — and TETR.IO publishes exactly how big each slice is, what TR it currently costs, and how fast the people inside it play.

The Mina the Hollower Soundtrack: 96 Tracks, Free, and Koshiro Shows Up
Yacht Club let its composer release the entire Mina the Hollower soundtrack name-your-price on day one. It is 96 tracks, it runs on a Game Boy sound chip plus a Konami MSX cartridge, and Yuzo Koshiro wrote two of them.

Pokopia Trade Guide: What Your Items Are Actually Worth
Pokopia hands you a scale instead of a price tag. A Pokemon with the Trade specialty stands behind a powered cash register, puts out stock based on how big your countertop is, and asks you to match a number using up to four different items out of your bag. Which items you pick decides whether that number costs you a morning or two Lumber.

Crimson Desert Armor Guide: Refinement, Sets and Stats
The weapons guide covered the six slots you swing. This covers the five you wear — with the actual Defense and Attack numbers from +0 to +10, the material bill at every step, the 30 Abyss Artifacts a full loadout quietly costs you, and why the tier badge on a piece does not predict its defence.

Pokémon TCG Live: Code Cards, Credits, and Free Packs
Pokémon TCG Live is free, runs the paper ruleset, and hands you a collection you then have to grow. The redemption limits are published — 400 booster codes per expansion, 25 Build & Battle codes, four per preconstructed deck. So is the rule that turns your fifth copy of a card into currency. Here is the whole acquisition economy, from The Pokémon Company's own documentation.

Disney Lorcana Format Coconut Explained: All 18 Beta Cards
Ravensburger put a new multiplayer format into open beta and then did not print a single card for it. The 18 Coconut cards live in the Companion app, the rules fit on one page, and the deckbuilding restrictions are stranger than the summary makes them sound. Here is the whole thing, with the card pool behind each Coconut counted.

Tears of the Kingdom Dragon Parts: The 101-Part Armor Bill
Four dragons, twenty parts, and a full armor tree that wants 101 of them. Here is what each part does when you fuse it, what it sells for, exactly how many the Great Fairies take, and why 45 of the 101 cost you nothing but a landing.

Riftbound Chains and Focus: The HOT FEPR Timing Rules
Riftbound's turn is always in one of four states, and the state - not the card - decides whether you are allowed to play anything. The Core Rules run the whole timing system on two separate permissions called priority and focus, a stack called the chain, and a five-step resolution loop the rulebook actually names in the text: HOT FEPR.

Gundam Card Game Series - All 20, and Which Are Buildable
Gundam 00 has 65 cards in the Gundam Card Game and Gundam Wing has 50 - and Wing is the far easier deck to build, because all 50 Wing cards sit inside one legal colour pair and Gundam 00 is split across four colours. Card count is not the number that decides whether your favourite series is playable. I read the Source Title field off all 892 deck-legal cards and worked out which of the 20 series survive contact with the two-colour rule.

Palworld TCG Rarities - All 13 Codes and 89 Parallels
Bushiroad prints thirteen different rarity codes on Palworld TCG cards and publishes a legend for exactly two of them. Pulling the whole card database and running the official parallel filter over it turns the letters into a structure: 167 base cards, 89 parallel printings, and a chase tier that is nested rather than stacked. No card in the launch pool exists in more than three printings, and 97 of them exist in only one.

Naruto Card Game Teaching Sessions: How to Get a Seat
NARUTO CARD GAME does not go on sale until Summer 2027, and every route Bandai has published to actually playing it is a demo table at an event. Across 6, 21 and 28 August the company turned a vague line about BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest into seven real event pages. Five of them carry an application window, a lottery-result date and a CP-001 prize — Jakarta's has already closed, Manila's shuts on 3 September, and Bangkok and Singapore both open on 11 September.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 Tickets: Prices, Days and Perks
TGS hits its 30th anniversary this year and stretches to its longest-ever five days — two business days, three public days, and a ticket list that runs from free to 3,300,000 yen. Every published price, what each pass actually buys, the entry-order rule that decides your morning, and the one line on the official site that decides whether the trip works at all: no same-day tickets are sold at Makuhari Messe.

Cyberpunk TCG: 11 Cards You Cannot Pull From a Booster
The official Cyberpunk TCG card database now lists 131 cards, and eleven of them have no printing in either Welcome to Night City booster set. Five belong to the Embracing Power starter deck, five to The Heist, and one — Rebecca: Having a Moment — is not in any product you can buy. Seven of the eleven are Legends, which is 28% of a card type you are required to run three of.

Cookie Run: Kingdom Beascuit Dough & Upgrade Costs
Beascuit Dough does not level a Beascuit. It rerolls one. Here is the full cost sheet for the Beascuit system — the Coin rate on Bites, the Crystal bill on attunement, the reset prices by rarity, and what a scrapped Beascuit pays back.

MTG Universes Beyond: Which Sets Are Standard-Legal
The Hobbit printed four legendary Dragons named Smaug and one of them is illegal in Standard. That is Universes Beyond legality in one image: a simple rule with two exceptions the packaging never mentions. Here is the full set list, the Eternal sets that ship beside them, and what share of each format is now licensed crossover — all read off Scryfall.

Cookie Run: Braverse Old Sets Won't Be Reprinted - For Now
A collector asked Devsisters whether it would ever issue second printings of BS1 boxes. The answer, published August 18, is no - not in their existing form. The replacement plan is already sitting in the official card database under a name nobody announced.

Roblox Text Filtering: FilterStringAsync Done Right
Chat is filtered for you. Pet names, sign text, shop names and anything you pull off an external API are not — and Roblox documents that it takes games down until filtering is added. Here is the actual API, the getter that is now dead, and the pattern that ships.

Is PUBG Cross-Platform? Who You Can Play With
PUBG runs two separate crossplay systems that do not connect. One puts Steam and Epic Games Store on the same server; the other puts PlayStation and Xbox in the same matchmaking pool. Here is exactly who can queue with whom, why the PC-console gap is structural rather than stubborn, and which consoles can still launch the game at all.

Fortnite Mobile: How to Install on iPhone and Android
Fortnite is back on both phone stores — the App Store worldwide since 19 May 2026, Google Play since 19 March 2026 — and Australia is the one country still locked out. Here is the install route for your device, the exact hardware floor, and the two things the mobile build does not have.

Minecraft Ominous Vault Loot Table and Heavy Core Odds
The heavy core is a 7.5% roll on a single loot pool, and a trial chamber only holds six to eight ominous vaults — so a perfect clear of an entire chamber is still worse than a coin flip for one core. Here are both vault loot tables with the real numbers, what a key actually costs, and the item in the pool that is rarer than the heavy core.

Genshin Weekly Boss Guide — Which Boss Drops What
Fourteen weekly bosses, three discounted claims a week, and one rule worth checking before you spend: below boss level 70 a Trounce Blossom pays zero talent materials. Here is the full drop map, the level thresholds, and which boss the character you are building actually needs.

Elden Ring Buff Stacking: Which Buffs Cancel Each Other
Two +20% buffs should give you +44%. If both are Body buffs, the second one deletes the first and you get +20%. Elden Ring sorts temporary buffs into four exclusive categories, tells you nothing about it, and the difference between a routine that works and one that does not is invisible.

Baldur's Gate 3 Weapon Actions: One Use Per Short Rest
The little icons under your attack button are not free. Unless the action says otherwise, a weapon action in Baldur's Gate 3 is capped at one use per short rest, the charge belongs to the character rather than the weapon, and it is spent even when the attack misses. Here is what each weapon type actually hands you, and which of them are worth the charge.

CS2 Shotguns and Machine Guns: Worth a Loadout Slot?
The most expensive weapon in Counter-Strike 2 is not the AWP. It is the M249, at $5,200, and it pays a $300 kill reward. That gun and four others share five loadout slots with six submachine guns — so putting a shotgun in your buy menu means taking an SMG out of it. Here is the verified math on whether any of them earns the seat.

The Witcher 3 Boss Fights: Imlerith, Eredin and Dettlaff
The bestiary tells you which oil to use on a drowner. It has nothing to say about Imlerith dropping his shield at 33% health, or Dettlaff shrugging off every oil in your bag. Named bosses run on phase triggers, and those are the fight.

Breath of the Wild Weapon Durability: Hits and Bonuses
Durability in Breath of the Wild is not a timer or a wear bar. It is a plain integer the game calls Life, it ticks down only when the weapon connects, and knowing the number turns "my weapons keep breaking" into a budget you can actually spend.

How to Get Epona in Ocarina of Time and What She Unlocks
Ocarina of Time never once forces you to own a horse. Here is the exact sequence that wins Epona off Ingo, the escape the game does not explain, and the two prizes only a mounted Link can collect.

A Link to the Past Small Keys: All 61, Dungeon by Dungeon
Palace of Darkness keeps all six of its keys in treasure chests. Desert Palace keeps none of its four in a chest at all. Here is the key count for every dungeon in the game, and where the ones you cannot find are actually hiding.

Super Mario 64 Shifting Sand Land Guide: All 7 Stars
Only 74 of Shifting Sand Land's 136 coins are outside the pyramid, and once you step through the pyramid door the game will not let you back into the desert. That single rule reorders the whole course. Here is every star, every kind of sand, the coin table, and the star select that stops Klepto stealing your hat.

Half-Life 2 Lost Coast: How to Play It and What Is In It
Valve unlisted Half-Life 2: Lost Coast from the Steam store and folded it into Half-Life 2 itself. It is still there, it is still the best fifteen minutes of graphics-programming history you can play, and it is where the developer commentary system was invented.

The Last of Us Part 2 Difficulty Modes and Custom Sliders
The Last of Us Part 2 has seven challenge levels, and the interesting one is at the bottom of the list. Custom is not a difficulty - it is five separate dials with six settings each, which is 7,776 ways to configure a run before you open the accessibility menu.

RE4 Remake Merchant Requests: All 19 Locations and Rewards
The 19 blue notes in the Resident Evil 4 remake pay exactly 84 spinel between them. Two Exclusive Upgrade Tickets cost 30 and 40. Clear the whole list and you can afford both with 14 to spare — miss six requests and you are picking one weapon to make special instead of two.

Resident Evil Requiem Release Date, Platforms and Editions: What Is Confirmed
When Requiem launched, which platforms it hit, what the three editions actually cost, and the confirmed PC specs — the buyer-facing facts, stripped of the guesswork.

Tetris All-Spin Explained: S, Z, L, J and I Spins
A Z piece rotated into a slot nothing else reaches is either a scored spin or an ordinary Double, and which one it is has nothing to do with you. It is a setting, and most Tetris games have it switched off.

Mina the Hollower Release Date, Platforms & What's Confirmed
The Shovel Knight studio's Game Boy Color love letter is finally here. Here is the confirmed release date, every platform, and what Yacht Club has actually said about Mina the Hollower.

Pokopia Water Guide: All 5 Water Types and How Flow Works
Pokopia lets you pour rivers, ponds, hot springs and lava wherever you like, and the tutorial explains almost none of the rules. Five liquids, five drinks, a 25-block trench budget, a cliff rule that hijacks a source placed within four tiles of a ledge, and one water type that regrows crafting recipes on its surface every single day.

Crimson Desert Pets: Trust, Sigils and the 100-Pet Cap
The mounts guide covered the animals you ride. This is the other roster: the strays you feed to 100 Trust, the birds you lure onto a Sotdae of Bond, the three sigils that give a pet an actual job, and the registration cap Pearl Abyss more than tripled in June.

Pokémon TCG Championship Points: How to Qualify for Worlds
The Pokémon TCG stopped publishing a Championship Point number you have to hit. The 2027 season hands each rating zone a fixed count of World Championships invitations and lets the leaderboard sort it out — 140 Masters seats for USA and Canada, 20 for Oceania. Here is what every event tier pays, the Best Finish Limits that cap how much of it counts, and the direct invites that ignore the leaderboard completely.

Disney Lorcana Actions Explained: All 196, No Instant Speed
An action in Lorcana resolves the moment it is played, and the rules give your opponent no window to answer it. Here is the whole card type counted from the live pool - 196 non-song actions, what they actually do, and the handful of cards that can interfere before the fact.

Tears of the Kingdom Korok Seeds: Every Hestu Upgrade Cost
Hestu will happily take 1,000 Korok Seeds off you. He runs out of things to sell at 421. Here is the price of every single stash slot, the order that wastes the fewest seeds, and the two-upgrade cap on the first place you meet him.

Riftbound Sealed and Draft: The Limited Format Rules
Riftbound Limited is not constructed on a budget - it switches off most of the deckbuilding rules you learned. Sealed hands you six packs and a 25-card minimum, Draft hands you three packs and a 20-card minimum, and both let you run ten copies of the same card, ignore Unique, and play cards that are banned in Standard.

Gundam Card Game Bases - All 68 Counted, and Which to Run
Every Base card in the Gundam Card Game opens with the same two lines. Not most of them - all 68, across five colours and sixteen products, with zero exceptions. That template is why the Base slot is not the throwaway it looks like, and the whole type tops out at Rare - no Base has ever been printed above it. I pulled all 68 out of the official database and cross-referenced them against 41 decklists Bandai published itself.

Palworld TCG Pal Cards - Power and Strike by Cost
Pals are 100 of the 166 distinct cards in the Palworld TCG launch pool, and the two numbers along the bottom of each one are most of what they do. Sorting all 91 unique Pal designs by cost turns up a ladder: Strike is not a design lever at all, it is a straight function of cost, with three exceptions in the whole set. Power is the only stat Bushiroad negotiates, and the textless Pal at each cost sets the price.

Kayou Naruto Grading: 82% of CGC Grades Are a 10
CGC publishes a live population report for Kayou Naruto cards, and reading all 1,668 entries answers the question the product pages cannot: what actually happens when you send these things off. The short version is that the grade is barely a lottery — and the set code the grader files your card under is not the one printed on it.

PAX West 2026: Badge Prices, Hours and the 6 PM Rule
PAX West 2026 is open for 50 hours across four days, and the Expo Hall accounts for 32 of them. The other 18 are panels, tabletop, tournaments, concerts and freeplay — which is why the cheapest single-day badge is also the best value per hour of show floor. Prices, hours, the two-building split, the TCG Zone line-up, and the rules that get props confiscated.

Cyberpunk TCG Sealed Deck Rules: RAM Does Not Apply
Until this week the sealed half of Cyberpunk TCG was a card count and nothing else. WeirdCo published the rest of it on 19 August 2026, and the headline is that the constructed format's defining constraint — the per-colour RAM ceiling your three Legends set — is switched off entirely. Your Legends stop being a deckbuilding licence and become three cards you flip.
