Cookie Run: Braverse Worlds 26-27: New Date and Venue

On September 1, 2026, Devsisters' Community Letter Vol. 2 gave the CookieRun: Braverse community its first date for the second World Championship: June 19-20, 2027, in Bangkok, Thailand. Our 2027 tournament system breakdown covered that notice in depth two weeks ago, dates and all.

On September 15, a second, separate notice went up on the same official site. It does not reference the first one. It does not use the phrase "updated" or "corrected." It simply states the event's dates as June 5-6, 2027 - two weeks earlier than the number that has been live on cookierunbraverse.com since the start of the month - and names a venue for the first time: the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok.

Both notices are still published as of this writing. Nothing on either page acknowledges the other exists.

Two notices, two weeks apart

Here is exactly what each one says, pulled from the site's own English notice feed rather than a screenshot or a third party's summary:

The Community Letter's exact wording, reproduced rather than paraphrased: "🏆🔥 Dates: June 19–20, 2027 Location: Bangkok, Thailand." The new notice's wording: "📅 Dates: June 5–6, 2027 📍 Venue: Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, Thailand." Same event, same city, two different weekends.

One detail that rules out a "which weekend did they mean" mix-up: both date ranges land on a Saturday-Sunday. June 19-20, 2027 is a Saturday and Sunday. So is June 5-6, 2027. Whatever produced the change, it was not a typo that turned a weekday into a weekend - both notices describe a normal tournament weekend, just two different ones.

What the new notice actually says

The September 15 notice is titled "CookieRun: Braverse TCG World Championship 26–27 Announcement" and opens with the date and venue before moving into a recap of North America's path to the event. Full text of the relevant section: "A celebration bringing together CookieRun: Braverse players from around the world! We are excited to announce the dates and location of the World Championship 26–27. 📅 Dates: June 5–6, 2027 📍 Venue: Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, Thailand." It follows with a line about side events being prepared and a promise that "more information about the tournament and side events will be announced at a later date."

The notice's second half, headed "🇺🇸🇨🇦 North America Road to Worlds," states plainly that "all players representing North America at the World Championship have now earned their invitations through official tournaments." That is not new information - our organized play guide already reported that the NA Champion Cup in Dallas determined those four seats, with Top 4 decklists published July 24, 2026 - but it is the first time Devsisters has said so directly in a notice rather than leaving it to be inferred from a separate qualification-roadmap graphic.

That graphic - titled "2027 NA Roadmap" - is reused from the September 4 tournament-system notice and appears again here. It places "26-27 WCS" in the June column of a year-long calendar with no day-level detail, which is worth noting for one reason: the graphic itself is consistent with either date. A month-level roadmap image can't tell you whether the event is the first weekend of June or the third, so nothing in the visual evidence resolves which text is current.

Before and after, side by side

Reading the two notices as a timeline rather than a table makes the gap easier to hold in your head:

• September 1, 2026 - Community Letter Vol. 2 names June 19-20, 2027 as the World Championship dates, with Bangkok as the only location detail.
• September 4, 2026 - A separate notice lays out the full 2027 North America tournament roadmap. It places "World Championship 26-27 (Bangkok, Jun 19-20)" on the calendar, consistent with the Community Letter three days earlier.
• September 15, 2026 - A new, standalone notice states June 5-6, 2027 and names the venue for the first time. No mention of the earlier date.
• September 16, 2026 - The September 15 notice receives an "updated" timestamp, per the site's own notice feed. What specifically changed in that edit is not marked on the page.

Three separate publications - the Community Letter, the tournament-system notice, and our own coverage of both - agreed on June 19-20 for two weeks. The newest official statement does not.

The venue: QSNCC, Bangkok

This is the part that is not in dispute: a specific venue has been named for a CookieRun: Braverse World Championship for the first time. The World Championship 25-26 in Seoul was reported with a date and city - April 11-12, 2026, Seoul, South Korea - but no venue name ever appeared in Devsisters' own notices for that event.

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is a real, long-running convention venue: Thailand's first national convention center, built in 1991 to host the World Bank's annual meetings, closed for a major expansion in 2019 and reopened in September 2022. It now spans roughly 300,000 square meters across eight exhibition halls, four conference halls and four plenary halls, and it sits centrally in Bangkok's Khlong Toei district beside Benjakiti Park. None of that is Devsisters' description - it comes from the venue's own listing and Wikipedia, cited below - but it establishes that this is a large, established convention space and not a placeholder name.

Nothing about qualification changed

Whichever date turns out to be correct, the path to the event has not moved. Our 2027 tournament system guide already covered the key point: the World Championship 26-27's North American seats were decided through the existing NA Champion Cup, held in Dallas, not through the new Epic Cup/Legendary Cup ladder that starts in 2027. The September 15 notice's own wording backs that up again - all four NA representatives "have now earned their invitations through official tournaments," past tense, with nothing left to qualify for.

So if you are one of the players who already has a seed, or you are just tracking the event as a fan, the only thing this notice changes is when to clear your calendar - not whether you need to do anything differently to get there.

What Devsisters hasn't explained

To be precise about what is and is not known: Devsisters has not published any statement acknowledging that the World Championship date changed, has not said which of the two dates is an error, and has not given a reason for the discrepancy. It is possible the June 19-20 date was wrong when it was first published and June 5-6 is the correction. It is possible the reverse is true and the September 15 notice will itself be revised. Nothing in either notice's text says which.

What can be said with confidence: the September 15 notice is the more recent publication, it is the more specific one (it adds a venue the earlier notice never had), and it received an "updated" timestamp as recently as September 16 - today, as this is written - while the September 1 Community Letter has not been touched since the day it posted. That pattern points toward June 5-6 being the current live number, but a pattern is not a confirmation, and this article will say so rather than round it up to one.

What is still unannounced

• Exact schedule. Neither notice gives start times, a day-by-day format, or how the Main Event and Side Events are split across the two days.
• Side event details. The September 15 notice promises "a variety of side events" with no list, format, or entry requirement given yet.
• Spectator and ticketing information. Nothing has been published about whether the event is open to walk-in spectators, badges, or streaming plans.
• Which date is final. As covered above, this is the open question the notices themselves do not resolve.

Quick Action Checklist

• The newest official number is June 5-6, 2027, per a notice posted September 15 and updated September 16, 2026 - two weeks earlier than the June 19-20 date Devsisters published on September 1.
• Both notices are still live on the official notice board with no cross-reference between them, so treat this as an open discrepancy rather than a settled fact until Devsisters clarifies it.
• The venue is confirmed for the first time: Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok's Khlong Toei district - a real, ~300,000-square-meter convention center that reopened after renovation in 2022.
• Qualification is unaffected either way. North America's four seats were already locked in through the NA Champion Cup in Dallas; nothing about the date change reopens that process.
• Side events, schedule and ticketing are all still unannounced - Devsisters says more information is coming, with no date attached to that promise.
• If you are planning travel, wait for a third confirmation rather than booking against either notice alone - the newer, more specific one is the safer bet, but it is not a guarantee.
