CRK Tier List May 2026 — PvE & PvP Rankings (Post-Timeline of Fate)
Timekeeper rewrote the Arena rulebook, Ash Salt is bullying World Exploration, and Eternal Sugar finally dropped a tier. Here is the May 2026 CRK tier list, sorted for PvE, PvP, and Guild Battle, with the F2P investment picks that actually matter.
Timekeeper Cookie did not just join the Arena meta — she deleted one of its pillars. Since the Timeline of Fate Act 2 patch (v7.4) went live on May 7, anyone parking Eternal Sugar in the Evergreen Tree slot is leaking matches they could be winning, and any World Exploration team without an aggressive debuffer is doing 30% more work than it needs to.
This is the May 2026 CRK tier list, scored against the actual v7.4 meta — Arcade Arena's "Rewound Glory" season, the 6-star Legendary growth ceiling, and the Choco Cake Tower expansion to 55 trays. No filler. No "every Cookie is viable!" nonsense. If a name is on the list, you should know exactly where to slot it and what it replaces.
What shifted in the May 2026 meta {#meta-shift}
Three forces are reshaping rankings this month, and they all stack:
1. Timekeeper Cookie raised the revive-counter ceiling. Anti-revive used to be Silent Salt's lane. Timekeeper does it harder, faster, and from a Magic damage profile that the current Arena defense rosters were not built to answer. Her presence means any team that leans on Sugar Swan or Pure Vanilla revivals has to either bring its own anti-revive insurance or eat the loss.
2. Ash Salt Cookie pushed debuffer Epics into S-tier rotation. A Legendary-quality debuff kit on an Epic chassis is the kind of thing that happens once a year. Ash Salt's stacking corrosion makes her a budget answer to bosses that previously required a Legendary anchor — particularly inside the new Ash-Bound Soul region.
3. The 6-star Legendary growth system reshuffled investment math. With another growth tier available, the gap between a maxed Legendary and a half-built one widened. That makes "spread your soulstones across five Legendaries" worse advice than it was three months ago. Pick a lane, pick four, and 6-star them.
Heads-up: A new Devsisters cadence reportedly shortened main-story drops from a 4-week cycle to a 2-week cycle with Act 2. If true, expect this tier list to move faster than it has in the past.
How this tier list is scored {#scoring}
Every Cookie is scored across four axes, then averaged into a tier per game mode:
| Axis | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| PvE damage / utility | 30% | Story, Tower of Star Resonance, Beast Raids, Cake Tower clears |
| PvP impact (Arena) | 30% | First-strike CC, damage windows, revive counter |
| Sustain & durability | 20% | Front-line survivability, healing throughput |
| Investment cost | 20% | Soulstone availability, Magic Candy gating, topping cost |
The big change from earlier 2026 tier lists: investment cost is weighted heavier now. A Cookie you cannot realistically pull or build does not belong in your "best Cookies" list — they belong in someone else's. The S+ tier is reserved for Cookies that also clear the cost bar via current event banners, anniversary catch-up pulls, or accessible soulstone routes.
Two other things worth saying about the methodology before the tables start. First, "PvP impact" is judged at high Champion / top-100 ladder play, not Bronze or Silver. A Cookie that fully dominates lower ranks but bounces off real defenses is not S+ on this list — she is A. Second, "investment cost" assumes you are F2P or low-spend. If you are a heavy spender, ignore the cost axis and bias everything one tier upward for whichever Cookies you can realistically max. The tier order does not change much, but the gap between S+ and S compresses significantly when money is not the bottleneck.
One more meta note: the 6-star Legendary growth system means every tier is now bimodal. A 6-star S-tier Cookie outperforms a 5-star S+ Cookie in most encounters that are not strict hard-counters. The tiers below describe ceiling potential assuming both Cookies are equally built. If your roster is uneven, prioritize finishing what you have started over chasing the slightly-higher-tier name.
S+ tier — auto-include Cookies {#s-plus}
These five are the rosters that decide matches. If you have them, build them. If you do not, the F2P priority list further down tells you which one to chase first.
- Timekeeper Cookie — anti-revive Magic Legendary, v7.4. Replaces Eternal Sugar in Evergreen Arena defense. See the Timekeeper toppings build for the exact set most top-100 Arena players are running.
- Dark Enchantress Cookie — DPS anchor since v7.0. Pair with Venom Dough for the strongest sustained damage window in the game.
- Sugar Swan Cookie — the only Healer that can revive 2 allies. Mandatory in any team that expects to eat a Timekeeper or Silent Salt opener.
- Aegis Hollyberry Cookie — Awakened tank. Run alongside Pure Vanilla to trigger the "Warmth of Compassion" rally — still the best front-line combo in PvE.
- Pure Vanilla Cookie (Awakened) — perennial S+ since v6.5. His skill cycle anchors both Arena and Guild Battle teams.
Tip: You do not need all five to compete. A focused investment into Timekeeper + Sugar Swan + any two of the other three will outperform a spread roster every time.
PvE tier list table {#pve-table}
Scored for Story, Tower of Star Resonance, World Exploration, and general boss clears. Roles are abbreviated as DPS / Ranged / Bomber / Support / Healer / Tank / Ambush.
| Tier | Cookie | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| S+ | Dark Enchantress | DPS | Anchor for almost every PvE comp |
| S+ | Millennial Tree | Support | Top buffer, gates burst windows |
| S+ | Aegis Hollyberry | Tank | Rally w/ Pure Vanilla is unmatched |
| S+ | Pure Vanilla (Awakened) | Healer | Sustained healing + rally trigger |
| S | Timekeeper | Magic DPS | Slightly slower clears than Dark Enchantress in pure PvE |
| S | Silent Salt | Ambush | Still excellent vs reviving bosses |
| S | Venom Dough | Bomber | Best pair for Dark Enchantress windows |
| S | Sugar Swan | Healer | Drop her in any team you might lose |
| S | Eternal Sugar | Beast Support | Down from S+ — still strong in Cake Tower |
| A | Hollyberry (non-Awakened) | Tank | Solid F2P front line |
| A | Ash Salt | Epic Debuffer | Punches above her rarity in Ash-Bound Soul |
| A | Pavlova | Epic DPS | Top May 2025 Epic, still useful |
| B | Seltzer | Epic Support | S-tier inside Machine-God Guild Battle only |
| B | Menthol | Epic Ranged | Combo piece w/ Seltzer for Stinging Fizz |
| C | Most pre-v6 Epics | varies | Replace once you have any S/A option in that role |
The headline read: in PvE you can still build a complete top-tier roster around Dark Enchantress, Millennial Tree, Aegis Hollyberry, and Pure Vanilla — Timekeeper is nice in PvE but not the priority. PvP is where she ruins lives.
A common F2P question this month: "If I do not have any of the S+ Cookies, can I still clear current PvE content?" Yes, comfortably. A team of Hollyberry (non-Awakened), Pavlova, Pure Vanilla at any level, plus any built Epic Healer, will clear roughly 80% of current main-story content and the first 40 trays of Cake Tower. The S+ tier exists to define the ceiling — not the entry requirement. Build what you have, then upgrade pieces one slot at a time as soulstones land.
The role you are most likely to be missing on a half-built account is dedicated Healer. Without one, Cake Tower trays 35+ become brutal. Sugar Swan is the dream pick, but a built Epic Healer (Cotton Candy, Cherry Blossom) will get you to tray 45 in a pinch.
Arena / PvP tier list table {#pvp-table}
Scored for Kingdom Arena ladder play and Arcade Arena's Rewound Glory season (running through 2026-06-04). Initiative, CC, and revive interaction matter more here than raw DPS.
| Tier | Cookie | Why she ranks here |
|---|---|---|
| S+ | Timekeeper | Anti-revive + Magic profile breaks current defenses |
| S+ | Pure Vanilla (Awakened) | Skill cycle still defines tempo |
| S+ | Aegis Hollyberry | The tank everyone has to play around |
| S+ | Sugar Swan | Mandatory revive insurance vs Timekeeper mirrors |
| S | Dark Enchantress | Lethal if she gets her window |
| S | Silent Salt | Still the cheaper anti-revive option |
| S | Millennial Tree | Buff support keeps DPS alive long enough |
| S | Eternal Sugar | Demoted from S+ — losing Evergreen slot to Timekeeper |
| A | Venom Dough | Strong opener for paired-DPS comps |
| A | Ash Salt | Sneaky pick on attack — strips revive shields |
| B | Pavlova | Niche budget DPS |
| B | Hollyberry (non-Awakened) | Outclassed by Aegis but functional |
| C | Most pre-v6 Legendaries | Replace at first opportunity |
The big PvP read for May 2026: if you do not have Timekeeper or Sugar Swan, your ceiling is hard-capped around Champion II. One of them is the bare minimum for top-100 climb. For a full team template, see the Kingdom Arena meta team breakdown.
Two specific Arena patterns worth calling out. The first is the Timekeeper mirror match — both sides bring Timekeeper, and the fight is decided by who fielded the better revive-insurance backup. Sugar Swan beats Pure Vanilla in that exchange because her revive count is higher. The second is the anti-Hollyberry comp — front-line Aegis Hollyberry with Pure Vanilla rally is still the most-played defense in the meta, and Venom Dough plus Dark Enchantress is the cleanest answer if you have both built. If you do not, Silent Salt is a respectable budget alternative that catches the rally before it triggers.
Arena defense building, separately, is its own game. The current defensive meta favors a Hollyberry / Pure Vanilla front, a Sugar Swan revive backbone, and one DPS pick (Dark Enchantress preferred, Timekeeper as the anti-revive variant). Avoid stacking two healers on defense — modern attackers will burn through one healer's revives in the first skill cycle and the second healer ends up dead weight.
Guild Battle tier list table {#guild-table}
Boss matters more than raw tier here, so the table is sorted by current rotation.
| Boss | S+ picks | S picks | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spectral Warmaster (Chains of Silence) | Silent Salt, Millennial Tree, Sugar Swan | Dark Enchantress, Venom Dough | Anti-revival pillar still rules this raid |
| Avatar of Destiny | Dark Enchantress, Pure Vanilla, Aegis Hollyberry | Timekeeper, Eternal Sugar | DPS race — bring the strongest damage window you can build |
| Machine-God | Seltzer + Menthol pair, Dark Enchantress | Pure Vanilla, Hollyberry | "Stinging Fizz" Epic combo is genuinely meta here |
| Cake Tower (1-55) | Timekeeper, Sugar Swan, Eternal Sugar | Dark Enchantress, Millennial Tree | Trays 50-55 reward sustain over burst — see the Cake Tower guide |
Warning: Do not invest into Seltzer + Menthol just for Machine-God if you do not already have them. The pair is S-tier inside one Guild Battle and B-tier everywhere else. Build for breadth, then chase niche picks.
Notable risers and fallers this month {#risers-fallers}
Risers:
- Timekeeper Cookie — debut directly into S+. Almost never happens. The combination of anti-revive plus Magic damage was a coverage gap nobody had filled.
- Ash Salt Cookie — A-tier on an Epic chassis. The corrosion stack mechanic translates surprisingly well into early Arena attack runs.
- Aegis Hollyberry — held S+ for a full year now. The "Warmth of Compassion" rally pairing with Pure Vanilla is still unmatched in the Awakened-tank market.
Fallers:
- Eternal Sugar Cookie — dropped from S+ to S in both PvE and PvP. She is not bad. She just lost her Evergreen-slot monopoly to a Cookie who does her job harder.
- Old Legendaries lingering in B/C tiers — Frost Queen, Sea Fairy, Affogato, and similar pre-v6 Legendaries continue to slip. If you are still soulstone-feeding any of them ahead of an S-tier option, stop.
- Most non-Awakened versions of Awakened Cookies — the Awakening gap is now wide enough that the base versions are essentially placeholders until you can Awaken them.
F2P investment priority {#f2p-priority}
If you can only soulstone-chase one Cookie this month, pick by your weakest mode:
- Bad Arena rank? → Timekeeper Cookie. She is the single biggest ladder gain available.
- Stuck on a story stage? → Dark Enchantress Cookie. The damage solves problems.
- Dying in long fights? → Sugar Swan Cookie. The double-revive changes how you build every other team.
- No front line that survives? → Aegis Hollyberry. Build her, then build Pure Vanilla. They unlock each other.
- Already have the above? → Millennial Tree. Then Silent Salt. Then start your second 6-star Legendary.
The trap most F2P players fall into right now is splitting soulstones across five Legendaries. With the 6-star growth system live, one Cookie at 6-star outperforms two at 5-star for almost every realistic encounter. Pick a lane and feed it.
For a wider walkthrough of which Legendaries to chase from a fresh account, the reroll guide covers banner timing.
Tip: Promo codes drop fairly often around major patches. Check the latest CRK codes list before you spend real money on soulstones — there is almost always a free chunk available.
Quick Action Checklist {#checklist}
- Pull or chase Timekeeper Cookie if you do not have her — Arena ceiling depends on it.
- If you have her: lock in the Timekeeper toppings build and slot her in your Arena defense first, attack second.
- Confirm Sugar Swan has her toppings on — she is your insurance vs Timekeeper mirrors.
- Move Eternal Sugar out of your Evergreen Arena slot. Park her in Cake Tower or Guild Battle.
- Pick one Legendary and push it to 6-star before spreading soulstones to a third Cookie.
- If you play Machine-God Guild Battle, double-check your Seltzer + Menthol combo is built.
- Re-pull this tier list in 2 weeks — the shorter patch cadence means rankings will move.
