Povidone-Iodine Cookie Toppings Build — Three Types, One Gap
Three ranking posts on this site already name Povidone-Iodine Cookie as a gap they never filled. Her own infobox recommends three different Topping types instead of the usual one, and its top sub-stat pick is not something Toppings can actually give her.

Three separate posts on this site already know Povidone-Iodine Cookie exists and still don't know what to do with her. The tier list, the reroll guide and the DPS ranking each name her as a Cookie "released since this list was written" and move on without a build. She shipped in the June 4, 2026 Top Secret: SCOOP update (v7.5) — more than three months before this guide — and in that time nobody on this site covered her gear. This is that guide.
She's also, mechanically, a strange one to have skipped. Her own wiki infobox recommends three different Topping types instead of the usual one, and its top sub-stat pick is a stat that Toppings cannot roll at all. Here's what she actually does, what to slot, and where the sourcing runs out.
Who Povidone-Iodine Cookie is

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Super Epic |
| Type | Bomber |
| Position | Middle |
| Element | Steel |
| Skill | Ethically Ambiguous Experiments |
| Base Cooldown | 7 seconds |
| Released | June 4, 2026 (12:30 GMT+9) |
| Update | v7.5, listed on the wiki as Top Secret: SCOOP |
| Traits | Analytical, Curious |
| Wiki-recommended Toppings | Swift Chocolate, Searing Raspberry, Healthy Peanut |
| Wiki-recommended sub-stats | DMG Resist Bypass, ATK, DMG Resist, HP |
Her in-game lore casts her as a SCOOP researcher — nicknamed "the Raging Scalpel" — running experiments on captured anomalies with more enthusiasm than ethics, and the wiki files her directly under the SCOOP storyline category that also produced Litmus Cookie later in the same patch. She has no Magic Candy: the wiki's master Magic Candy list, which currently tracks 35 Cookies across the whole game, does not include her, so there's no Soul Essence sink attached to her build and nothing here is waiting on one.
One production note worth knowing before you build her: per the wiki's own Trivia, the CHRONOS reveal livestream originally showed her as an Epic, Front-line Bomber. By release, Devsisters had changed her to Super Epic, Middle position, Steel element. Whether that was a graphic error or an actual design change during development is undocumented — but it means any pre-release chatter calling her Epic or Front-line is describing a version of her that never shipped.
What Ethically Ambiguous Experiments does
Her skill runs three attacks and a support layer off one 7-second base Cooldown:
- Red Antiseptic sprays forward, dealing damage and — if it lands on a Cookie — applying a Healing-reduction debuff sized off the target's Max HP, a damage-dealt reduction, and Healing Prevention on whoever has the lowest current HP. Non-Cookie targets get Stunned instead.
- Powerful Sawing follows with up to five hits inside half a second. Against Cookie targets it applies Excessive Vampiric Bite, a damage-over-time effect that stacks more Vampiric Bite onto the target every time that target uses its own skill. Against everything else, each hit ignores 35% of DMG Resist and deals bonus damage for every Vampiric Bite stack already sitting on the target, capped at 1,500% of ATK.
- Saw Strike closes the combo with a single hard hit that also ignores DMG Resist and applies its own Vampiric Bite.
- On top of all three, using her skill grants herself an HP Shield and heals every ally, then hands the rest of the team (not herself) Experimental Prescription — +35% damage dealt to Cookies and +30% DMG Resist for 10 seconds. She carries an Enhanced version of the same buff on herself permanently, plus periodic self-healing that scales with how much HP she's missing.
That's a lot of moving parts for a Cookie the wiki still files as a straight Bomber rather than a hybrid. It's also, unusually for a recent release, fully documented. Every line above has a published number at both Base and Max skill level. Her contemporaries didn't all get that treatment — Pulpo Cookie's entire skill sheet shipped with exactly one number filled in. Povidone-Iodine Cookie's shipped complete.
The one number that actually scales
Complete doesn't mean generous. Line up her Base and Max skill columns and exactly one value changes between them:
| Line | Base | Max |
|---|---|---|
| Powerful Sawing, single-hit DMG (Cookies) | 321.4% of ATK | 918.4% of ATK |
| Powerful Sawing, single-hit DMG (Others) | 254.6% of ATK | 254.6% of ATK |
| Red Antiseptic DMG / Healing | 885.8% / 111.2% of ATK | 885.8% / 111.2% of ATK |
| Saw Strike DMG (Cookies) | 1,192.7% of ATK | 1,192.7% of ATK |
| Vampiric Bite (Cookies / Others) | 111.0% / 97.0% of ATK | 111.0% / 97.0% of ATK |
| Experimental Prescription buff | +35% DMG / +30% DMG Resist | +35% DMG / +30% DMG Resist |
| Self-healing (passive) | 222.4% of ATK + 3.5%/1% HP lost | 222.4% of ATK + 3.5%/1% HP lost |
Every buff, every heal, every hit against non-Cookie enemies, and the whole Vampiric Bite line hold flat from skill level 1 to max. Only the Cookie-targeted hit inside Powerful Sawing moves, climbing from 321.4% to 918.4% of ATK — nearly triple. This isn't an isolated data-entry gap: Asphodel Cookie's Cat Ghost explosion does the same thing, jumping from 595.2% to 1,488.0% while every other number on her sheet stays frozen. Two Bombers from adjacent patches, the same one-line-scales pattern — this reads like how Devsisters is currently levelling newer Bomber kits, not a wiki omission specific to either Cookie.
The practical read: in PvE, where you're mostly hitting non-Cookie enemies, skill level buys her almost nothing — the one line that moves only applies against Cookie targets. Skill Powder spent on her is a PvP-specific investment, not a general damage upgrade.
The Topping puzzle: three types, not one

Nearly every build guide on this site — Pulpo, Nether Queen, Asphodel, all of them — narrows to one Topping type inside the first two paragraphs. Povidone-Iodine Cookie's own infobox does not. It lists three: Swift Chocolate (Cooldown), Searing Raspberry (ATK) and Healthy Peanut (HP). That's not the wiki hedging — each one maps onto a genuinely different slice of her kit.
| Topping | Buys | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Searing Raspberry (ATK) | Bigger numbers on every ATK%-scaling line: Red Antiseptic's damage, both Powerful Sawing hits, Saw Strike, and the Vampiric Bite ticks | Straight burst — also the single build crkguide.com recommends outright |
| Swift Chocolate (Cooldown) | Faster access to the whole combo and the team-wide Experimental Prescription buff, since all of it rides the same 7-second Cooldown | Guild Battle and longer fights where repeat activations matter more than one big hit — crkguide lists this as its stated alternative |
| Healthy Peanut (HP) | The two Max-HP-proportional slices of her kit — Powerful Sawing's Cookie-hit (+15.5% of Max HP) and Saw Strike (+28.1% of Max HP) — plus raw survivability at Middle position | A real option per the infobox, but one no community write-up found actually recommends; see below |
That third row is worth being straight about. Healthy Peanut is a real, wiki-sanctioned option — it's sitting right there in her infobox next to the other two — and there's a mechanical case for it: two of her damage lines add a flat slice of Max HP on top of their ATK-scaling portion, and no other Topping type touches that slice. But it's also the one nobody's actually built. If you're only equipping one full set, equip Searing Raspberry: it's the type the community write-up above tested, and it's the type that scales the single biggest number in her kit (that 918.4% max-level hit).
Substat priority inside whichever main type you pick: ATK first (useful regardless of which of the three you're running), DMG Resist second, HP third. That's the order her own infobox gives, minus the one entry covered in the next section.
The stat her Toppings cannot buy
Here's the part her infobox doesn't spell out: the first sub-stat it recommends, DMG Resist Bypass, isn't in the Topping bonus-effect pool at all. The wiki's own Toppings page lists exactly ten stats a Topping bonus effect can roll — ATK, DEF, HP, ATK SPD, CRIT%, Cooldown, DMG Resist, CRIT Resist, Amplify Buff, Debuff Resist — and DMG Resist Bypass isn't one of them. It exists only as a Beascuit bonus effect.
That's not a wiki typo, either. DMG Resist Bypass is a distinct, documented mechanic — the wiki defines it as damaging a target "as if they had a lower DMG Resist stat," calculated against the target's total DMG Resist including anything past the normal cap — and Povidone-Iodine Cookie's own skill already uses a version of it natively: Saw Strike ignores 35% of DMG Resist on its hit, and Powerful Sawing does the same against non-Cookie targets and through its Excessive Vampiric Bite effect on Cookie targets. Stacking a Beascuit roll of the same underlying stat on top of that innate ignore is almost certainly the synergy her infobox is quietly pointing at by listing DMG Resist Bypass first. The honest caveat: the wiki's own dedicated DMG Resist Bypass compilation page — the one that catalogs which Cookies carry the effect and by how much — hasn't been updated to include her yet, so there's no second, independent source confirming exactly how a gear roll and her innate ignore combine. Only her own skill box backs this one.
Research-Driven Toppings and the tart slot
v7.5 also shipped Research-Driven Toppings, a Resonant set with a roster of exactly two: Povidone-Iodine Cookie and Litmus Cookie, the Epic healer who arrived in the same patch's mid-update. Like every Resonant set, it comes in all ten standard Topping types, but only two are worth building against her three-type shortlist: Research-Driven Raspberry and Research-Driven Chocolate.
Resonant Toppings don't raise the ceiling on a roll — they raise the floor — and Devsisters publishes the exact bands:
| Bonus effect | Normal Epic Topping | Resonant Topping |
|---|---|---|
| ATK | 1.00% – 3.00% | 2.00% – 3.00% |
| Cooldown | 1.00% – 2.00% | 1.50% – 2.00% |
| DMG Resist | 1.00% – 6.00% | 4.50% – 6.00% |
Translated: the worst ATK roll a Research-Driven Raspberry can hand you (2.00%) is the average roll on a normal Searing Raspberry. That's a real, quantifiable reason to prioritize Research-Driven pieces as they drop, even though — per Devsisters' own patch notes on the mechanic — you don't need a full Resonant set to get the equip bonus. Standard and Resonant pieces of the same flavor count toward the same set total.
For the main-stat math itself: a standard M-rarity Searing Raspberry runs from 3% ATK at Level 0 to 63% ATK at +12 (crkguide.com's per-level table, since the wiki's own Toppings page states only the per-level increment rather than every intermediate value), with Equip bonuses of +4% ATK at Equip 2, +8% at Equip 3, +10% at Equip 5 and +12% at Equip 6 per the wiki's own Toppings page. Five of them at +12 is +315% ATK in main stats alone before a single bonus effect rolls — a big-percentage Topping type by design, unlike the Cooldown line, which tops out far lower (a maxed M Swift Chocolate is worth -3.0% Cooldown, per the same crkguide table cross-referenced against Pulpo Cookie's build breakdown).
The Spicy Beascuit slot

Beascuits lock to Cookie type, and Bomber Cookies take the Spicy Beascuit — no choice to make there, only which roll to chase. A Legendary Spicy Beascuit at Lv.30 grants ATK +30% and HP +35%, with four bonus-effect slots pulled from the same universal pool every Legendary Beascuit draws from:
| Bonus effect | Legendary range |
|---|---|
| DMG Resist Bypass | 5% – 15% |
| ATK | 3% – 7.5% |
| DMG Resist | 5% – 10% |
| HP | 3% – 15% |
| Element DMG | 8% – 15% |
Given the infobox's own priority order, DMG Resist Bypass is the one roll on this list that Toppings genuinely cannot substitute for — which makes the Beascuit slot the real answer to her stated #1 stat, not a Topping decision at all. ATK and DMG Resist follow in the same order the infobox gives; HP and Element DMG (Steel) round things out if the first three are already covered.
Common Povidone-Iodine build mistakes
- Assuming she needs one Topping type. She's an exception in this vertical — her infobox lists three, and each buys a different slice of her kit. Default to Searing Raspberry if you're unsure, but don't expect the wiki to force a single answer.
- Chasing DMG Resist Bypass on Toppings. It isn't there. The ten-stat Topping bonus-effect pool doesn't include it — it's a Beascuit-only roll.
- Spending heavily on Skill Powder for PvE. Only her Cookie-targeted Powerful Sawing hit scales with skill level. Every non-Cookie hit and every buff or heal value is identical at Base and Max.
- Ignoring Research-Driven Toppings because you don't have a full set. Devsisters' own patch notes confirm standard and Resonant pieces of the same flavor share the same set bonus — slot what you have.
- Building for Front-line survivability. She released at Middle position, not Front. Pre-release chatter calling her a Front-line Bomber describes a version of her that got changed before launch.
- Waiting on a Magic Candy. She isn't on the wiki's Magic Candy list. Nothing about her build is gated behind one.
Quick Action Checklist
- Default to five Searing Raspberry if you're building one Topping type — it's the type the available community build tests, and it scales the single biggest number in her kit.
- Consider Swift Chocolate instead for Guild Battle or long fights where repeat skill activations matter more than one big hit.
- Healthy Peanut is a legitimate third option per her infobox — it feeds the Max-HP-proportional slices of her damage — but treat it as untested territory rather than a confirmed meta pick.
- Chase DMG Resist Bypass on her Spicy Beascuit first, not on Toppings — it's the wiki's top-listed sub-stat for her and Toppings cannot roll it at all.
- Prioritize Research-Driven Raspberry or Chocolate Toppings over standard ones as they drop; the floor moves even though the ceiling doesn't, and mixed sets still count toward the equip bonus.
- Don't overspend Skill Powder on her for PvE — only the Cookie-targeted Powerful Sawing hit moves between Base and Max.
- She has no Magic Candy — don't set aside Soul Essence for one.

Ananas Dragon Cookie Toppings — The ATK-to-Cooldown Loop
Three separate guides on this site have now called Ananas Dragon Cookie out by name as the gap in their rankings — a Dragon-rarity Cookie that August community tier lists put at the top of the Arena pool, with no build guide of her own anywhere on the site. Her skill sheet turns out to hide a specific, checkable mechanic: a passive that converts Topping ATK directly into Cooldown reduction, capped at a threshold one single maxed Topping already clears.

Pulpo Cookie Toppings Build — Swift Chocolate Guide
Pulpo Cookie is a Support Cookie the game puts in the Front line, and her own infobox already narrows the gear question to one Topping type. What it does not narrow down is her skill: the Cookie Run: Kingdom wiki lists her base Cooldown at 15 seconds and leaves every damage and buff value on the sheet blank.

Time Shadow Cookie Toppings — The 70% CRIT Breakpoint
Time Shadow Cookie is the rare Cookie whose cooldown is bought with CRIT. His passive trades 2.00% of Topping CRIT% for 1.00% cooldown reduction up to a -35.0% ceiling, and the wiki names 70% Topping CRIT as the number that gets you there. Add up the published Juicy Apple Jelly values and five maxed Toppings hand you 53.00% CRIT before a single bonus effect rolls.

Asphodel Cookie Toppings Build — Bomber That Counts Grass
Asphodel Cookie shipped in the same July 29 update as Nether Queen Cookie and shares her Oblivion Toppings. Her Cat Ghost skill carries a PvE damage line that grows by 233.4% of ATK for every other Grass Cookie on the team — which makes her build question inseparable from her team question.
