Pulpo Cookie Toppings Build — Swift Chocolate Guide
Pulpo Cookie is a Support Cookie the game puts in the Front line, and her own infobox already narrows the gear question to one Topping type. What it does not narrow down is her skill: the Cookie Run: Kingdom wiki lists her base Cooldown at 15 seconds and leaves every damage and buff value on the sheet blank.

Most new Cookie Run: Kingdom build guides start by translating a wall of skill percentages into a gear plan. Pulpo Cookie's does the opposite. Her own infobox already tells you the Topping type — Swift Chocolate, the Cooldown one — and the sub-stat order to chase. What it does not tell you is what any of that Cooldown is actually buying, because her skill box on the Cookie Run: Kingdom wiki has a base Cooldown of 15 seconds and nothing else filled in.
That is unusual even by new-cookie standards. Her Shadowplay stablemate Time Shadow Cookie, released the same day, shipped with a full page of percentages. Pulpo Cookie shipped with a mechanic description and one number. So this guide covers what is actually confirmed — her recommended gear, the Topping math behind it, and her Resonant Topping option — and is explicit about the parts of her kit nobody can quote a figure for yet.
Who Pulpo Cookie is

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic |
| Type | Support |
| Position | Front |
| Element | Darkness |
| Skill | All, Wrapped Up |
| Base Cooldown | 15 seconds |
| Released | August 26, 2026 |
| Update | v7.8, listed on the wiki as Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers |
| Released alongside | Time Shadow Cookie (Super Epic, Ambush, Middle) |
| Resonant set | Shadowplay |
| Wiki-recommended Toppings | Swift Chocolate |
| Wiki-recommended sub-stats | Cooldown, ATK, DMG Resist |
According to her in-game lore, Pulpo Cookie is a "Grade B time criminal" who stole seven centuries of time and was apprehended by SCOOP, the organization running the Timeline of Fate storyline this year — the same arc that produced Time Shadow Cookie, Nether Queen Cookie and the rest of the 2026 Legendary and Super Epic lineup. She is one Epic release inside a much bigger story update, which is the likely reason her kit data lags behind the headline Cookies of the same patch.
What All, Wrapped Up actually does
Her skill has three moving parts, described on the wiki without accompanying numbers for any of them:
- Gift Fragments and Gift Boxes rain onto the enemy line, dealing damage and increasing the Darkness-type damage those enemies take.
- Ribbons Shackle enemies together, pulling them in, and the Shackled enemies take extra damage when the Shackle ends.
- Mobile Collection stacks build whenever a nearby non-Cookie enemy is Incapacitated, or becomes Incapacitated while already Shackled by her ribbons. At certain stack thresholds, Mobile Collection further increases the Darkness-type damage enemies take — except on bosses.
Every one of those effects is a multiplier or a debuff percentage in practice, and none of them has a published value. The only hard number on her entire skill box is the 15-second base Cooldown, which is also why the wiki's own recommendation leads with Cooldown rather than a stat tied to a specific damage line.
One gap between sources is worth flagging directly: the Cookie Run: Kingdom wiki's skill box describes Mobile Collection purely as a stacking debuff on enemies. CrkGuide's write-up on her goes further, stating Mobile Collection "increases her ATK and reduces her Cooldown" for Pulpo Cookie herself on top of the enemy-side Darkness DMG Taken effect — a self-buff the wiki's own page does not mention anywhere. Neither site attaches a number to it. Until the wiki updates to confirm or deny a self-buff component, treat it as an unconfirmed community read of the kit rather than a fact.
The build
| Slot | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Toppings x5 | Swift Chocolate | The only Topping type the wiki recommends for her, and her value is skill uptime rather than a big personal damage number |
| Sub-stat priority | Cooldown > ATK > DMG Resist | Matches the wiki's own recommended-stats order for her |
| Beascuit | Hearty (Support) | Beascuits are type-locked, and Support Cookies take the Hearty Beascuit regardless of position |
| Resonant set | Shadowplay, Swift Chocolate flavor | Same roster as Time Shadow Cookie and Fire Spirit Cookie; narrows the Cooldown roll floor slightly over a standard Epic Topping |
DMG Resist sits third rather than off the list entirely because of her position: she is a Support Cookie standing in the Front line, which puts her in the path of hits most Support Cookies never take. ATK sits second because Gift Fragments, Gift Boxes and the Shackle-end damage all read as ATK-scaling effects in the mechanic description, even without a printed percentage to size them by.
Swift Chocolate, the whole conversion table

The wiki's Topping table lists Swift Chocolate M at -1.8% Cooldown beside the icon, and as with every Topping that is its Level 0 value, not its ceiling. A community per-level table (crkguide.com) puts the climb at roughly 0.1 percentage points per level, landing on -3.0% Cooldown at +12 — the level an M Topping needs anyway, since its third bonus-effect slot does not open before then.
| Source | Cooldown reduction |
|---|---|
| Swift Chocolate M at +12, main stat, x5 | -15.0% (3.0% each) |
| Swift Chocolate Equip 5 set bonus | -5.0% |
| Guaranteed before a single bonus effect rolls | -20.0% |
| 15 bonus-effect slots (3 per M Topping, at +6, +9 and +12), rolling 1.0%-2.0% each | up to -30.0% more |
Unlike Time Shadow Cookie, there is no published passive that converts one of Pulpo Cookie's stats into another, so this table is just what five maxed Swift Chocolate Toppings are worth on their own — not a target number to hit, because no confirmed cap or breakpoint exists for her Cooldown. Equip 2 is -2.0% and Equip 3 is -4.0%, for reference, in case you are levelling toward a partial set rather than five.
A matching Topping Tart raises the set from Equip 5 to Equip 6, worth -6.0% instead of -5.0%, and the M-rarity tart itself is separate gear that never needs levelling. Community guidance (crkguide.com) also floats a mixed build of three or four Swift Chocolate plus one or two Searing Raspberry (ATK) Toppings as a strong alternative — reasonable in principle, since her skill has both a utility half and a damage half, but there is no confirmed damage percentage to actually weigh that trade-off against yet.
Shadowplay Resonant Toppings on Pulpo
Shadowplay is the Resonant Topping set that shipped in v7.8. Three Cookies can equip it: Time Shadow Cookie, Fire Spirit Cookie and Pulpo Cookie. Like every Resonant set added since v6.8, it comes in all ten standard Topping types, including a Shadowplay Swift Chocolate.
Resonant Toppings draw bonus effects from a six-stat pool — ATK, ATK SPD, CRIT%, Cooldown, DMG Resist, CRIT Resist — with a higher floor than a standard Epic Topping's ten-stat pool. On Cooldown specifically, that floor moves from 1.0%-2.0% to 1.5%-2.0%, per the wiki's Toppings page. The ceiling does not move.
That is a smaller edge than it sounds. Compare it to what the same mechanic does for CRIT% on Time Shadow Cookie, where the Resonant floor jumps from 1.0% to 2.0% — a full percentage point. On Cooldown, the floor only moves half a point. Fifteen bonus-effect slots at +0.5% each is worth up to 7.5% more guaranteed Cooldown over a standard Epic Swift Chocolate set, which is real, but it is a narrower case for chasing Shadowplay specifically on Pulpo Cookie than it is on Time Shadow Cookie.
The Hearty Beascuit slot

Beascuits are locked by Cookie type, not position, so Pulpo Cookie takes the Hearty Beascuit despite standing in the Front line. A Legendary at Lv.30 grants ATK +30% and HP +35%, with four bonus-effect slots against three on an Epic and two on a Rare.
Legendary bonus-effect ranges relevant to her recommended stats:
| Bonus effect | Legendary range |
|---|---|
| ATK | 3% – 7.5% |
| Cooldown | 2% – 6% |
| DMG Resist | 5% – 10% |
| HP | 3% – 15% |
| Element DMG | 8% – 15% |
A Tainted Darkness Beascuit — first slot permanently locked to +20% Element DMG — lands on any Darkness-tagged line in her kit, but Tainted Legendaries only drop from Beast Raids and related events, and none of her damage lines have a confirmed element-scaling percentage to size that against yet either.
Why a Support Cookie is standing in front
It is worth pausing on, because it is not the default. Per the wiki's own Trivia note, Pulpo Cookie is the third Support Cookie ever prioritized to the Front line, after Jagae Cookie and Millennial Tree Cookie. Every other Support Cookie in the game sits in the back rows, which is also why DMG Resist earns a place in her recommended stats at all — a mechanic that would be irrelevant on a normal backline Support becomes a real survivability line the moment the game decides to put her at the front of the formation.
What the sheet does not say
Four blanks, stated plainly rather than filled in:
- Every damage and buff percentage on her skill. The wiki's skill box lists Base and Max fields as unset for Gift Fragments/Gift Boxes damage, the Darkness DMG Taken increase from both that hit and Mobile Collection, and the Shackle-end bonus damage. Only her 15-second base Cooldown is a real number.
- The Mobile Collection stack thresholds. The mechanic description says "a certain number of stacks" triggers the next Darkness DMG Taken increase, without saying what that number is or how many times it can trigger.
- Whether the ATK-hybrid alternative build is actually correct. Community guidance suggesting a Swift Chocolate and Searing Raspberry mix is a reasonable hypothesis given her kit has both a utility half and a damage half, but there is no published damage percentage to confirm it is worth the Cooldown you would give up.
- How Skill Powder affects her. Time Shadow Cookie's base-to-max skill columns show exactly one number changing; Pulpo Cookie's wiki page does not show a base-to-max comparison for her at all, because the Max values are not filled in either.
- Whether Mobile Collection buffs Pulpo Cookie herself. The wiki's skill box only describes Mobile Collection as an enemy-side Darkness DMG Taken debuff. CrkGuide's write-up additionally claims it "increases her ATK and reduces her Cooldown" — a self-buff the wiki does not mention. No number is attached to either version, and this guide is not treating the CrkGuide claim as confirmed.
Quick Action Checklist
- Build five Swift Chocolate Toppings, not a mixed set, and take them to +12 — the main stat is -1.8% Cooldown at Level 0 and -3.0% at +12, and the third bonus-effect slot only opens at +12.
- Prioritise Cooldown bonus effects first, matching the wiki's own recommended order of Cooldown, ATK, DMG Resist.
- Equip a Hearty Beascuit — Support Cookies take it regardless of position, and her Front placement makes the DMG Resist rolls worth watching for.
- Prefer Shadowplay Resonant Swift Chocolate pieces if you have them, but treat the gain as modest: the Cooldown floor only moves from 1.0% to 1.5%, half the edge Shadowplay gives CRIT%-based Cookies like Time Shadow.
- Don't commit to the community's ATK-hybrid alternative build as confirmed — it's a reasonable guess without a damage percentage behind it yet.
- Recheck this guide after a future patch fills in her skill's Base and Max values; almost everything about her actual damage output is still unpublished.

Time Shadow Cookie Toppings — The 70% CRIT Breakpoint
Time Shadow Cookie is the rare Cookie whose cooldown is bought with CRIT. His passive trades 2.00% of Topping CRIT% for 1.00% cooldown reduction up to a -35.0% ceiling, and the wiki names 70% Topping CRIT as the number that gets you there. Add up the published Juicy Apple Jelly values and five maxed Toppings hand you 53.00% CRIT before a single bonus effect rolls.

Asphodel Cookie Toppings Build — Bomber That Counts Grass
Asphodel Cookie shipped in the same July 29 update as Nether Queen Cookie and shares her Oblivion Toppings. Her Cat Ghost skill carries a PvE damage line that grows by 233.4% of ATK for every other Grass Cookie on the team — which makes her build question inseparable from her team question.

Nether Queen Cookie Toppings Build — A Healer That Wants ATK
The standard Cookie Run: Kingdom healer build is five Swift Chocolate, chase Cooldown, skip ATK. Nether Queen Cookie's own passive contains a line that converts ATK from Toppings into Cooldown at a 2:1 rate, capped at -25%. That single clause flips the standard build on its head, and there's a second clause next to it that punishes you for running a backup healer.
