CRK v7.10 Update Guide — Cradle for the Sleepless Dragon
Cookie Run: Kingdom's October 21 update headlines a Dragon, but its widest changes are structural: Arcade Arena goes permanent, Kingdom Arena gets an overtime rule ahead of a cross-server Champions League, and Moonlight Cookie moves to the ★6 track with a Soulstone conversion worth doing the arithmetic on.

Cookie Run: Kingdom's October 21 update sells itself on a Dragon, and Lychee Dragon Cookie's kit is dense enough to earn the billing. The changes with the widest reach are structural, though. Arcade Arena becomes a permanent mode. Kingdom Arena gets an overtime rule and a three-week season that ends on November 11, the day a cross-server Champions League starts. And Moonlight Cookie moves to the ★6 promotion track, with a Soulstone conversion that, by the wiki's own cost tables, can leave a ★5 Moonlight showing fewer stars than before. A Dragon is one banner. The rest touches every Arena player and every Moonlight owner.
Both wikis file this as v7.10, Cradle for the Sleepless Dragon, the name of the Timeline of Fate chapter it opens. The rules below come from the official October 21 Update Notice unless a line names another source. Skill numbers come from cookierun.wiki, because the notice describes kits in words only.

Lychee Dragon Cookie

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Dragon |
| Type | Ambush |
| Position | Middle |
| Element | Darkness (cookierun.wiki infobox) |
| Skill | Violet Dragon's Dominion |
| Cooldown | 16 seconds |
| Promotion | ★6 Dragon track: 540 Soulstones from unlock to ★6, no Ascension |
| Resonant set | Dragon's Sweet Prank |
| Banner | Violet Dragon's Seal Gacha; cookierun.wiki's countdown ends December 2, 9:00 GMT+9 |
The notice runs the skill in four beats. Lychee Dragon gains Life Steal for each surviving nearby enemy, blinks to the enemies to inflict Charmed and amplify the damage they take, swings a scythe that heals for part of the damage dealt, then unleashes the Violet Dragon. At the start of battle they also inflict Enhanced Mind Control on the enemy Magic Cookie with the highest ATK (Dragon Cookies excluded), regular Mind Control on the Cookie with the next-highest ATK, and summon a Follower that periodically hits the lowest-HP target and stays on the field after Lychee Dragon falls. Their Charmed can't be removed from enemy Cookies. Enemies immune to Charmed get Dragon Brainwashing instead, which Charms them the moment they become susceptible. Once per battle, Violet Scales grant Invulnerability before Lychee Dragon is defeated. They are immune to Cooldown Freeze, Cooldown Recovery debuffs, Charmed and Mind Control, and if another Dragon Cookie is on the team, every ally gets immunity to Cooldown Freeze and Cooldown Recovery debuffs.
The numbers come from cookierun.wiki's skill box, which so far fills only its Base column (its Max column reads "?"). Fandom's skill box is still empty.
| Line | cookierun.wiki, Base column |
|---|---|
| Life Steal | Max HP +3.0% and ATK +1.5% per enemy in the skill area, stacks up to x15 |
| Charmed | 4.0 sec |
| Scythe | x10 hits over 1.7 sec; heals 30.0% of skill DMG, capped at 1,000% of current ATK |
| Follower | Every 5.0 sec, up to x8 hits on the enemy with the lowest HP percentage |
| Enhanced Mind Control | Target deals 35.0% less DMG to Lychee Dragon and takes 17.5% more from them; DMG Dealt -30.0%, DMG Taken +35.0%; Revive Prevention |
| Mind Control | Target deals 25.0% less DMG to Lychee Dragon and takes 20.0% more from them |
| Violet Scales | Max HP +30.0%, DMG Dampening 37.5%, Debuff Resist +30.0% |
| Violet Scales, Cooldown | -0.8% per 1.0 ATK gained from Toppings, capped at -60.0% |
| Violet Rage | Once per battle: Invulnerable for 5.0 sec, remaining Cooldown -30.0% |
Three things to take from that.
It is built to fight Cookies. Mind Control picks its targets from enemy Cookies by ATK, and the unremovable Charm is reserved for enemy Cookies. The blink, scythe and Violet Dragon hits each add damage proportional to Max HP against Cookies only. Against other enemies the Charm is removable and those hits are ATK-only. That is the shape of a Kingdom Arena kit before it is a PvE one.
Pair them with another Dragon. cookierun.wiki's Dragon Cookies category lists three: Pitaya Dragon, Ananas Dragon and Lychee Dragon. Either of the other two switches on the team-wide immunity to Cooldown Freeze and Cooldown Recovery debuffs. The Dragon exclusion on Enhanced Mind Control matters for the same pairing in reverse: Ananas Dragon is the only Magic-type Dragon, and the wiki's note on the skill box says the exclusion currently spares only them.
The Cooldown passive is steeper than Ananas Dragon's. Ananas Dragon's skill box converts at -3.0% per 6.0% of ATK from Toppings, capped at -30.0%. Lychee Dragon's line reads -0.8% per 1.0 ATK, capped at -60.0%. The box doesn't say whether "1.0 ATK" means 1% of ATK, or whether set bonuses count as ATK gained from Toppings. The set-bonus question is the same one our Ananas Dragon build works around. A real build waits for the Max column.
Rambutan Cookie

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic |
| Type | Charge |
| Position | Front |
| Skill | Rambutan Trident |
| Cooldown | 13 seconds |
| Resonant set | Dragon's Sweet Prank |
| Banner | Featured Cookie; cookierun.wiki's countdown ends November 18, 6:00 GMT+9 |
Rambutan stabs the enemy front row, then hands every ally Cookie an HP Shield, CRIT%, Amplify Buff and Chieftain's Power. At the start of battle she raises every ally Cookie's ATK SPD. cookierun.wiki's Base and Max columns match on every line except the thrust damage:
| Line | cookierun.wiki, Max column |
|---|---|
| Thrust | Up to x5 hits over 1.3 sec, 211.0% of ATK per hit (84.4% at Base) |
| Final Blow | 638.0% of ATK |
| CRIT% | +17.5% for 15.0 sec |
| Amplify Buff | +10.0% for 15.0 sec |
| HP Shield | 10.0% of Max HP for 15.0 sec |
| Chieftain's Power | Stun Immunity, ATK +15.0% and Extra DMG for 15.0 sec |
| Chieftain's Power Extra DMG | 1.5% of ATK per 1% Cooldown, capped at 60.0% |
| Battle start | ATK SPD +25.0% |
The Extra DMG line is the build. The notice says allies with Chieftain's Power deal extra damage with Regular Attacks against non-Summoned enemies based on Rambutan's own Cooldown reduction. Here is what that's worth on a plain Cooldown build. cookierun.wiki's Toppings page gives Swift Chocolate M 1.8% Cooldown plus 0.1% per upgrade, so 3.0% at +12. Five of those make 15%, and the five-piece set bonus adds 5%. That's 20% Cooldown, which the line turns into Extra DMG worth 30% of ATK. The line is capped at 60.0%. The wiki writes the same kind of cap on Ananas Dragon's and Lychee Dragon's Cooldown passives, where it limits the result, so read it as 60% of ATK, which 40% Cooldown reaches.
Read literally, Cooldown on Rambutan buys two things at once: a shorter cycle on her team buffs, and a bigger Extra DMG number inside them. The usual Topping question is Cooldown or damage. On her, Cooldown is both.
Ep. 13: Whispers of the Crimson Moon
Timeline of Fate Ep. 13 picks up with Hollyberry Cookie's party on Lychee Island, searching for a way to bring back Pitaya Dragon Cookie. The notice says Ep. 14 arrives in the next update.
- Episode effect, Alluring Crimson Moon (from the Turbulent Waters stage onward): an Enchanting Nightmare lowers your damage and strengthens enemies. During a Total Lunar Eclipse, enemies gain more ATK SPD and your Cookies fall into Sweet Slumber: Incapacitated, then hit with True Damage proportional to Max HP when they wake. Cookies that Sweet Slumber doesn't catch get Drowsiness instead and fall asleep once they're susceptible.
- Who resists it: Lychee Dragon, Rambutan and Moonlight are less affected by Enchanting Nightmare and Sweet Slumber, and Rambutan also gains a DMG Dampening buff.
- Tactical Skills (from the Treacherous Cave Falls stage): Dance of the Rambutan Tribe periodically restores HP, briefly halts the Total Lunar Eclipse and grants a Blessing that wakes sleeping or Drowsy allies on the spot. Wisdom of the Rambutan Tribe raises ally damage. With Rambutan on the team, Dance can be used more times, and Wisdom can be used more often with an enhanced buff.
Rambutan shows up in the episode effect and in both Tactical Skills, and she's an Epic. If you're clearing Ep. 13 without the new Cookies, Moonlight is the one older Cookie the notice names as resistant.
Moonlight Cookie moves to the ★6 track
The notice replaces Moonlight's ★5 + ★5A progression with ★6 and removes Ascension. She gets more elaborate decorations at ★2, ★4 and ★6, and a more elaborate background at ★3. cookierun.wiki's ★6 table now lists four Legendaries on the track: Timekeeper, Wind Archer, Nether Queen and Moonlight. The same page cites the CHRONOS live broadcast for the plan to convert every Legendary and Dragon Cookie over time.
The conversion rules, from the notice:
- Every Moonlight Soulstone you currently hold plus every Soulstone and Soulcore already spent promoting or ascending her is summed and converted at 120%, rounded up.
- If that combined amount exceeds 450, each unit over 450 becomes a Legendary Soulstone Choice Chest (the notice lists it as covering 10 kinds).
- Her new grade is the lower of two things: the grade she had, and the highest grade the converted Soulstones can buy.
- The conversion itself costs no other upgrade resources.
The ★6 track's costs, from cookierun.wiki's Cookie Upgrading page:
| Step | Soulstones | Running total |
|---|---|---|
| Unlock | 20 | 20 |
| ★1 | 20 | 40 |
| ★2 | 40 | 80 |
| ★3 | 70 | 150 |
| ★4 | 100 | 250 |
| ★5 | 130 | 380 |
| ★6 | 160 | 540 |
From ★2 up, each step on the new track also costs Legendary Soul Essence, 290 in all, plus 315,500 Coins across the whole track.
What the conversion does to your Moonlight
The 450 cap isn't arbitrary: 450 × 120% = 540, the wiki's total for the whole ★6 track from unlock to ★6. So the conversion pays for a maxed ★6 Moonlight, and everything past that comes back as Choice Chests.
Two worked cases, using the old costs on the same wiki page: 290 Soulstones from unlock to ★5 (20 of them to unlock her, 270 for the five promotions), and 200 Soulcores from ★1A to ★5A. The notice doesn't say whether the 20 unlock Soulstones count as "used to promote", so both readings are shown, in the order counted / not counted. The not-counted reading measures against the track minus its 20 unlock Soulstones, so ★5 sits at 360 rather than 380:
| Your Moonlight before | Counted | After 120% | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| ★5A, no spare Soulstones | 490 / 470 | 540 from the first 450 | ★6 either way; the 40 / 20 units past 450 return as Legendary Soulstone Choice Chests |
| ★5, no Ascension, no spares | 290 / 270 | 348 / 324 | ★4 either way, 32 / 36 Soulstones short of ★5 |
That second row is the one to check on your own account. A non-ascended ★5 Moonlight lands at ★4 on the new track under the lower-of-two rule. That's our arithmetic from the notice's rule and the wiki's tables. The notice gives no worked examples, so trust her Cookie screen over this table if they disagree.
The rest of the update keeps writing her in: a banner (Glowing Moonlight Shards Gacha, cookierun.wiki countdown November 18, 6:00 GMT+9), a new Resonant set (Dragon's Sweet Prank, alongside her existing Moonkissed and Ancient Roots sets), a Legendary costume, Ep. 13's resistance, and the corrupted boss in Duel of Destiny. The wiki's changelog for her lists the grade change as her only v7.10 change. So her skill numbers in our Moonlight Cookie build didn't move. Her promotion path did.
Duel of Destiny returns
cookierun.wiki records two earlier runs of Duel of Destiny: v7.1 (February 11 to March 11, 2026, centred on the Ancient Heroes and the Five Beasts) and v7.6 (July 2 to 30, Ananas Dragon against Wind Archer in his Raven of the Endless Night form). This one pits Lychee Dragon against Moonlight Cookie's Alluring Crescent Moon form, and Lychee Dragon is locked into your deck.
| Season | Runs (GMT+9) |
|---|---|
| Amusement & Allure Season 1 | Oct 21, 06:30 – Nov 3, 23:59:59 |
| Amusement & Allure Season 2 | Nov 4, 10:00 – Nov 17, 23:59:59 |
A tallying period follows each season, and battles are unavailable during it.
The equal-footing rules. Your team can only use the Cookies the season provides, all at the same level and promotion grade. Cookies with a Magic Candy get its Lv.30 effects, and Cookies with a Crystal Jam get its Lv.20 effects. Toppings, Beascuits, Guild buffs, the Laboratory, Bonds, Landmark effects and other Kingdom buffs are all off.
How a run works. You start with two random ally candidates, one Defense or Charge Cookie and one Ranged or Magic Cookie. Removing low-rarity Cookies from the candidate list costs New Choice Tickets, charged at the start of the battle. Defeating enemies lets you recruit an ally or take a Hero's Will buff. Every Hero's Will carries an orange, green, blue or purple flame:
- Three of a kind, or one each of orange, green and blue, triggers a combo, in any order.
- Purple is a wild card and lights a candle on the Awakening Candelabrum. Light all three to use the Tactical Skill Dance and Wisdom of the Rambutan Tribe against the boss.
- If new flames fill the slots before a combo completes, the oldest flame drops off.
Between runs. Gems of Will buy Unleash Power upgrades to ATK, Cooldown and Lychee Dragon's Grade, all reset at season end. Rank is by points and clear time, with rewards mailed by tier. Duel of Destiny Shop Coins last until the end of Season 2, and the shop's selection changes each season.
The notice describes the season's Cookies as provided for the season at a fixed level and grade, with Lychee Dragon locked in. That makes this a look at them in a real fight before you decide on the banner.
Arcade Arena is now permanent
Arcade Arena started as a limited-time event in v5.13 and has come and gone since. From v7.10 it is a regular mode. Here's what changed against the event version our Arcade Arena guide describes:
| Rule | From v7.10 |
|---|---|
| Season length | Every 2 weeks, each with its own Cookie list and Arcade Rules; non-Seasonal Cookies can't be used |
| Ranking | Group rankings instead of server-wide; matchmaking still covers the whole server |
| Win Streak Bonus | Extra Trophies from 2 consecutive wins up to 5; applies through Diamond 1, off from Master 5; a manual list refresh drops it |
| Hidden Cookies | From Master 2: randomised names and profile pictures, Power shown to two digits, Victory Points to three, some enemy Cookies hidden |
| Rewatch | Available from the results screen until you leave it; revenge battles included |
| Fast-forward | Available up to Master 3 |
| Entry Tickets | No longer reset when seasons change |
| Arcade Arena Coins | Carry over between seasons; spent in a Regular Shop and a Tier Shop |
The last two rows retire the old event-era advice to spend everything before a run closes. Coins and tickets now survive the season boundary.
cookierun.wiki lists the first permanent season as Position Clash, October 21 to November 3, for Epic, Rare and Common Cookies only, with the Arcade Rule giving Ranged and Support Cookies ATK +60% and ATK SPD +50%. The notice also says the Cookie Setting Guide now uses Arcade Arena data for Epic Cookies often used there.
Kingdom Arena: overtime and the Champions League
A short season. Dreaming Miracles 1 runs from October 21, 12:00 to November 11, 11:59:59 (GMT+9), tallying included. That's three weeks instead of four, which the notice puts down to the Champions League schedule. Dreaming Miracles 2 goes back to the standard four-week format.
Overtime. If no winner is decided within 1 min 30 sec, a 15-second overtime starts. During it, for every Cookie on both teams:
- Invulnerability and Immortality are removed.
- No Cookie can use skills or revive.
- Every Cookie repeatedly takes heavy damage proportional to Max HP at short intervals.
If both teams still have Cookies standing when overtime ends, it's a draw. Existing battle rules and timed damage buffs don't change, and the rule covers Kingdom Arena and the Champions League. If your defense wins by outlasting attackers, this is the change to test it against. Once overtime starts, nobody can cast or revive.
Records. Attack records now sit beside Defense records and can be rewatched until the season changes. You can favourite up to 20 records, which are cleared each season. Tap the tier banner for your Arena history: highest tier and rank, tracked from Destruction & Creation 3. An Expected Trophies display, refreshed hourly, estimates what the higher tiers need.
The Champions League is in the next update and starts November 11, 00:00 (GMT+9). It runs seven days: Qualifiers, Main Rounds 1 to 3, then Finals.
| Stage | Who plays |
|---|---|
| Qualifier Round | Ranks #31–100 in each server's Kingdom Arena season, within their server; each group's top player advances |
| Main Rounds | Ranks #3–30 plus Qualifier winners, across three merged servers |
| Seeded | Each server's top two enter at Main Round 2 |
| Final Round | Four finalists, ranked #1–4 by Victory Points |
It uses Kingdom Arena's battle rules, including the new overtime rule and the Featured Cookie buff from the season just before it. The notice also says Kingdom Arena seasons will end a week earlier to make room for it. It doesn't spell out which season's standings seed the first Champions League, but Dreaming Miracles 1 ends the day the League starts. If you're sitting near rank 30 or 100 on your server, that is the ladder to watch.
The Amazing Digital Circus collab

Two of the seven collab Cookies fight. Pomni and Jax are playable Special Cookies. The other five (Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger, Zooble and Caine) are Guest Cookies. cookierun.wiki describes Guests as non-playable visitors to the Kingdom with no skill or combat function.
| Pomni Cookie | Jax Cookie | |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity | Special | Special |
| Type | Ranged | Charge |
| Position | Middle | Front |
| Skill | I'm Just Gonna Be Evil | Scared? |
| Cooldown | 15 sec | 9 sec |
| Spotlight bonus (cookierun.wiki) | ATK +15%, CRIT% +20%, CRIT DMG +10%, Explosion +250% of ATK | ATK +30%, Cooldown -40%, Flashbang +250% of ATK |
Pomni's piercing, ricocheting shots end in an explosion at the centre of the battlefield, which deals critical damage if there is only one target. Jax taunts, swings a bat that pushes enemies back, then throws a flashbang that damages and Stuns, and their Regular Attacks can knock enemies back. Fielded together they trigger Spotlight. And every time Jax casts, they clear incapacitating effects from Pomni and reset her Cooldown, and she fires immediately.
Do the arithmetic on that pairing. Jax's 9-second skill under Spotlight's -40% Cooldown comes to 5.4 seconds before any other Cooldown sources, and each of those casts triggers a Pomni cast. As a pair, Pomni's 15-second cooldown stops being her limit. Jax's cooldown is.

Where the collab lives:
- Digital Circus Gacha for Pomni and Jax, on Digital Circus Tickets; cookierun.wiki's countdown ends November 18, 6:00 GMT+9.
- Amazing Guests! Meet the Cast: 100 Digital Circus Tickets captures a Gloink, which gives a Guest Cookie or an item.
- Challenge! The Abstracted: build a team, add stat upgrades and random effects, and do as much damage as you can before time runs out, over two seasons. The mode's headline rewards are Fantastical Golden and Silver Keys. Its event tokens come from the number of times you damage the boss, with a chance of more valuable ones, and Fire, Poison and similar damage doesn't count. Tokens stop appearing once you hit the season's maximum and are spent in the event shop. Pomni and Jax together trigger a special shared buff.
- Costumes and Icing: Wacky Summer Vacation (Pomni's Refreshing Beach Swimsuit, Jax's Elegant Maid Uniform), and the Gummigoo the Bandit Icing set under Shop > Currency.
Pomni and Jax are also on the Dragon's Sweet Prank Resonant roster, the same set as Lychee Dragon, Rambutan and Moonlight.
The rest of the notice
- Dragon's Sweet Prank Toppings. A ten-type Resonant set for Lychee Dragon, Moonlight, Rambutan, Jax and Pomni. cookierun.wiki files it as "Dragon's Mischief", and with it the wiki's global Resonant list runs to 41 sets. The notice restates the standard Resonant rules: higher bonus-effect values than regular Toppings, bonus effects that can differ from a regular Topping's, and no need to equip Resonant Toppings exclusively to get a set effect. Our Resonant Toppings guide covers the 40 sets before it.
- Legendary Costume Gacha. Legendary costume rates go up, a Legendary is guaranteed after a set number of pulls, and rates no longer climb with the number of pulls. This starts with Alluring Crescent Moon, whose banner runs to December 2, 9:00 GMT+9 on cookierun.wiki's countdown. The notice gives neither the new rate nor the pull count. The Chance Up ladder in our costumes guide describes Legendary banners before this change.
- Diamonds. A new resource for buying items in the Shop, switched in with the Change button at the top left. They come as bonuses on select Packages or can be bought under Resources.
- Main menu. Tap PLAY! in the Kingdom to reach eight areas: Kingdom, World, Town Square, Arena, Guild, Challenge, Upgrades and Featured. World now splits into Crispia, Beast-Yeast and Timeline of Fate, and each button returns you to the last stage you played in that chapter. Upgrades holds Today's Bounties, Trial Grounds, the Mine and Trials of the Nether Realm.
- Bug fix worth knowing. Only the leftmost Treasure slot could be tapped in the Team Setup pop-up. That's fixed.
Quick Action Checklist
- Open Moonlight's Cookie screen and compare her new grade with what you expected. By our arithmetic from the wiki's tables, a non-ascended ★5 lands at ★4, and anything past 450 combined Soulstones and Soulcores comes back as Legendary Soulstone Choice Chests.
- Try Lychee Dragon in Duel of Destiny before you pull. The season provides them at a fixed grade, Season 1 runs to November 3, and the Violet Dragon's Seal banner runs to December 2.
- If you build Rambutan, build her for Cooldown. Her Chieftain's Power pays 1.5% of ATK per 1% of her Cooldown reduction, up to 60%.
- Bring Rambutan, Lychee Dragon or Moonlight to Ep. 13. The notice says all three are less affected by Sweet Slumber, and Rambutan boosts both Tactical Skills.
- Stop dumping Arcade Arena Coins at season end. Coins and tickets now carry over, and Position Clash favours Ranged and Support Cookies until November 3.
- Test your Kingdom Arena defense against the overtime rule. After 1 min 30 sec, skills and revives stop and Max HP damage ticks on both teams.
- Watch your rank in Dreaming Miracles 1 if you're near #30 or #100 on your server. It ends November 11, the day the Champions League starts.
- For The Abstracted, count hits. Its tokens come from the number of times you damage the boss, and Fire, Poison and similar damage doesn't count.
