CRK Town Square Guide — Shop, Rewards and Weekly Events

Stand in Cuckoo Town Square and do nothing for two hours, and Cookie Run: Kingdom hands you 240 Stamina Jellies, 120 Juicy Stamina Jellies and 480 Town Square Coins. That is on top of a shop, a Post Office, two rotating mini-events and a currency that gates your Icing Gacha pulls.

This is what is actually in Town Square, what each system pays, and on what schedule.

What two hours in Town Square is worth

Cuckoo Town Square is the social hub added permanently in v5.7 (July 17, 2024), after a temporary trial run in v5.3 earlier that year. Players move around it with their MyCookie, chat, and interact with NPCs — but underneath the social layer are four separate reward systems: passive time rewards, a rotating shop, a Post Office, and two alternating mini-events. None of them require you to do anything skill-based; they require you to know they exist.

The passive rewards

Every 5 minutes spent in Town Square fills a progress bar. Each tick pays 10 Stamina Jellies, 5 Juicy Stamina Jellies and 20 Town Square Coins, and it can be claimed up to 24 times a day — so the math checks out cleanly: 24 × 5 minutes is 120 minutes, and 24 × those per-tick amounts is exactly the daily cap of 240 Stamina Jellies, 120 Juicy Stamina Jellies and 480 Town Square Coins.

Rewards accumulate whether or not you are actively doing anything, but they are not banked — whatever is sitting unclaimed resets at the daily reset, so the habit that actually pays is: open Town Square, let it run in the background for the two hours it takes to fill, then claim before you log off.

The Town Square shop

Catnip Cookie runs a shop that refreshes every 2 days and spends Town Square Coins. Two slots are permanent, and the rest rotate:

The 3,000-coin Soulstone slot is the one worth checking every refresh: it is a source of Super Epic Cookie soulstones, which mostly cannot be farmed outside their own event gachas — our Cookie rarity guide covers why that tier is time-gated. If the featured Super Epic is already at max promotion, the wiki notes the slot is replaced by a Soulcore instead.

One inconsistency worth flagging rather than smoothing over: the wiki's own summary line says the shop carries "6 items" with "3 items from the random stock," but its published shop table lists only 2 random-stock columns alongside the 2 permanent and up to 4 seasonal ones. Take the table, not the summary sentence, as the more reliable count — but don't be surprised if a third random slot shows up that the table doesn't yet document.

The Post Office: three free rolls a day

Mailtriever Pups scattered around the square offer a choice of 1 of 3 random rewards every 2 hours, starting at 00:00 GMT+9. Each window is only open for 20 minutes, and you can only claim from a Mailtriever Pup up to three times per day — so it is a "check in a few times," not an "always available," system. All active pups in a given hour offer the same three options.

The weekly mini-event schedule

A rotating mini-event runs on a fixed weekly pattern (all times GMT+9). It requires cooperation with whoever else is in your current channel, but rewards can only be collected once per player per day.

Cheese Vault and Town Square Cleanup

Cheese Vault: a vault and a purple envelope spawn at random spots in the square. Interacting with the envelope reveals one digit of a 4-digit passcode; players need to gather the full code from multiple envelopes and enter it at the vault for a random reward. You get three tries to enter the code correctly — burn all three and you wait for the next window.

Town Square Cleanup: a large bush spawns somewhere in the square. Sweeping it as a group clears it — solo, it takes about 4 minutes; more players sweeping together clears it faster. Once cleared, it drops a chest with a random reward for every participant, and players who join the channel after the bush is already down can still claim.

Lost and Found is your Icing Gacha currency

Lost & Found runs passively, independent of the Cheese Vault / Cleanup schedule above. Items appear lost around the square; bring one back to the Lost-and-Found Closet and you get 50 Choco Chalk for your first return of the day. Beyond that, up to 10 total items can be turned in daily for 10 Town Square Coins each, and hitting cumulative turn-in milestones can award a random Soulstone on top.

Choco Chalk is the currency the Icing Gacha runs on, and Town Square's Lost & Found is one of its two primary sources — the other being mining Sweet Power Gem ore veins in Into the Depths — so skipping this mini-event isn't just a missed 50 Choco Chalk, it's passing up one of only two real taps on that currency.

The Bell of Glory

At the Lion Fountain in the south of the square sits the Bell of Glory. Ringing it (any player can, once every 30 seconds) activates a 5-hour buff for everyone currently in that channel — visible in the Burning Time window from both Town Square and the Kingdom. You don't buy Bell of Glory items; you earn them from clearing high-difficulty content, mostly Beast Raid. A few examples of what's on offer:

There is also a Platinum Bell of Glory, introduced in v6.5, claimable by every player rather than just whoever rang it. Its ring cooldown was cut from 5 minutes to 15 seconds in v6.11 (claim duration is unchanged at 5 minutes), and its buffs run longer — 5 or 12 hours depending on the item, again mostly earned from Beast Raid.

What v7.8 changed that the wiki has not caught up on

One honest gap: Cookie Run: Kingdom's own v7.8 patch (Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers, August 26, 2026) lists "Town Square improvements" as one of its new mechanics in the official update log. The wiki's dedicated Cuckoo Town Square article, however, was last revised May 28, 2026 — three months before that patch — and its Changelog section still stops at v5.13 from December 2024. Nothing on the page currently documents what the v7.8 "improvements" actually were.

Every number in this guide is what the wiki's Town Square article documents as of that May 28 revision. Treat it as the confirmed baseline rather than today's exact state, and check the in-game patch notes if a specific timer or reward amount looks off — this is exactly the kind of gap that bites live-service coverage when a feature page goes quiet for a few patches while the mode itself keeps shipping changes.

Quick Action Checklist

1. Open Town Square and let the passive timer run. Two hours gets you the full 240 Stamina Jellies, 120 Juicy Stamina Jellies and 480 Town Square Coins — claim before daily reset, because it does not bank.
2. Check Catnip Cookie's shop every 2 days. The 3,000-coin Soulstone slot is your best shot at Super Epic soulstones outside their own event gacha.
3. Catch at least one Post Office window a day. Three claims are available, each a 20-minute window every 2 hours from 00:00 GMT+9.
4. Do the daily mini-event on your channel — Cheese Vault on Mon/Wed/Fri, Town Square Cleanup on Tue/Thu, both on weekends.
5. Turn in one Lost & Found item every day, minimum. It's your main Choco Chalk source for the Icing Gacha, and costs nothing to grab.
6. Ring the Bell of Glory if you have an item queued — the buff applies to your whole channel, not just you, so use it when others are around to benefit too.
7. Don't take this guide's numbers as gospel post-v7.8. The source page predates the patch's "Town Square improvements" by three months.
