Guild Battle Teams in CRK — Best Comps for All 4 Bosses
A boss-by-boss breakdown of the strongest Guild Battle teams in CRK right now, including the Stinging Fizz Seltzer + Menthol combo, the Poison stack for Red Velvet Dragon, and F2P swaps for each boss.

Updated 11 October 2026: Cookie roles, rows and boss mechanics were re-checked against the Cookie Run Wiki's kit and boss pages. Black Sapphire is a Middle-row Support, Seltzer is the Support and Menthol the Bomber in the Stinging Fizz pair, and Pomegranate buffs team ATK rather than Poison, so Red Velvet Dragon is now anchored on Black Sapphire. Sugar Swan heals the whole team, not one ally. The cheat sheet now lists each boss's actual mechanic instead of a "weakness". Score-retention percentages, a Battle Power penalty and an end-of-fight damage window that neither wiki documents were cut.
Eighteen tickets a round, up to nine fights per boss, two bosses open each week. Guild Battle in v7.4 (The Arcana of Truth and Deceit) rewards specialization: every boss has its own strengths and weaknesses, so bringing a generic "good team" into Red Velvet Dragon when you should be stacking Poison-type Cookies leaves damage on the table.
This is the cheat sheet — comps, treasures, cooldown order, and F2P swaps — for every Guild Battle boss in CRK as of May 2026. If you're not sure which cookie to pull next, this guide will tell you which boss they unlock.
Last verified: 2026-08-30; boss rotation re-checked 2026-10-10 — Guild Battle has four bosses, and Devsisters keeps one of them out of rotation at a time. Per the Cookie Run Wiki's v7.8 patch notes (Time Breakers: Fatal Fixers, August 26), Avatar of Destiny returned in Red Velvet Dragon's place, so the Red Velvet Dragon section applies when it rotates back in. v7.9 (Mortal Flames, Eternal Change, September 23) lists no Guild Battle or Treasure change. The comps are still a v7.4 snapshot — Cookies released since (Povidone-Iodine, Litmus, Ananas Dragon, Nether Queen, Asphodel, Time Shadow, Pulpo, Rajapendra, Mogra) are not evaluated in any comp below.
Boss-team cheat sheet
Skim this first. Each row tells you the boss, the mechanic from its Cookie Run Wiki page that shapes the fight, the anchor cookie the comp is built around, and why.
| Boss | Boss mechanic | Anchor cookie | Why it wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red Velvet Dragon | Very high DEF that needs DEF Reduction; reflects 75% of damage taken | Black Sapphire Cookie | Cuts DEF by 20% per Poison-type Cookie on the team (capped at 80%) and amplifies Poison-type DMG for Poison Mushroom Cookie; he is in both in-game recommended loadouts for this boss. |
| Avatar of Destiny | Immune to all debuffs; True DMG hits sized to your Cookies' Max HP | Sugar Swan Cookie | Her skill heals the whole team, and with no other Healing Cookie on the team she revives a fallen Cookie at 100% HP, up to twice per battle. |
| Machine-God | Immune to non-Water debuffs; takes 12% more Water DMG | Seltzer Cookie | With Menthol Cookie on the team she applies Stinging Fizz, which Menthol's Gas Explosion detonates; both are Water Cookies. |
| Living Abyss | Immune to debuffs except Burn, Explosive Burn and Vampiric Bite; takes 19.3% of the damage its Ooze blobs take | Dark Enchantress Cookie | Chaos DPS whose Abyss Stuns non-Cookie enemies; with Timekeeper Cookie, stunned blobs keep stacking Weakness. |
Tip: If your guild assigns bosses, lock in your anchor cookie before anyone else builds. The whole team formation rotates around them.
How Guild Battle scoring works in 2026
The fundamentals: each weekly round hands you 18 Guild Battle Tickets, two bosses are open, and you can fight each of them up to 9 times. A ticket is only spent if you deal damage, and the damage you deal is shared with your guild. Every fight runs on a 60-second timer, so each attempt is a race to fit as much damage as you can into one minute.
A clean attempt looks like this:
- Pre-battle: lock in your treasures and confirm your beascuits are slotted.
- Opener (0-10 seconds): cast your buff and debuff skills first (more below) so your first damage skills land on top of them.
- Mid-fight (10-45 seconds): cycle treasure cooldowns and anchor-cookie skills in the order their effects compound, not the order they come off cooldown.
- Final 15 seconds: pop everything left, because nothing carries over once the timer runs out.
Note: Per the Cookie Run Wiki, the 60-second timer starts once your Cookies are in range of the boss, so your Cookies' initial skill cooldowns run out on the way in. Active treasures' initial cooldowns wait for the timer, except against Machine-God.
Red Velvet Dragon — Poison comp

Red Velvet Dragon is the original Guild Battle boss. Per the Cookie Run Wiki it has very high DEF that needs a good amount of DEF Reduction before your damage is worthwhile, it is susceptible to most debuffs, and it reflects 75% of the damage it takes back at the attacker. Black Sapphire answers the DEF: his gems cut it by 20% for each Poison-type Cookie on the team, which is why the comp pairs him with Poison Mushroom and keeps a tank up front.
| Position | Cookie | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | Hollyberry Cookie | Tank | Aegis variant if you have it. |
| Front | Millennial Tree Cookie | Buff / heal | Heals the team through his 10-second World Tree form. Hollyberry is a Defense Cookie, which switches off his Nature's Protection (Taunt, Sheltering Branches, team ATK +12.5% and DMG +20%), so his team damage buff here is Elemental Force (team DMG +15% to +20%). It needs Cookies of 4 or more different elements, which this team has: Steel, Grass, Poison and Chaos. |
| Middle | Black Sapphire Cookie | Support / Poison amplifier | DEF -20% per Poison-type Cookie (capped at 80%), enemies take +25% Poison-type DMG, and allies deal +35% Poison-type DMG while he is alive. |
| Middle | Poison Mushroom Cookie | DoT enabler | Primary Poison applier — keep stacks rolling. |
| Middle | Pomegranate Cookie | Support / ATK buff | Team ATK +30% for 10 seconds plus a heal-over-time. |
Positions in these tables are each Cookie's position priority on the Cookie Run Wiki; the game places Cookies in rows itself.
Cooldown order: open with Black Sapphire so his DEF shred and the +25% Poison-type DMG taken are on the boss when Poison Mushroom's explosions land, then Poison Mushroom, with Pomegranate's 10-second ATK buff layered over both. Use Hollyberry as needed for survival. Black Sapphire's debuffs last 10 to 15 seconds on a 15-second cooldown, so re-cast him first each cycle.
Tip: Red Velvet Dragon reflects 75% of the damage it takes back at the attacker, and the Cookie Run Wiki warns that heavy burst damage gets your own Cookies shredded. Keep Millennial Tree's and Pomegranate's healing running through your biggest hits.
Avatar of Destiny — Sustain comp

Avatar of Destiny is the Guild Battle's sustain check. Per the Cookie Run Wiki, Destiny: Oblivion hits your whole team for True DMG equal to 35% of Max HP and Silences them, and Destiny: Doom deals True DMG equal to 100% of the nearest Cookie's Max HP. The comp is structured around keeping the front line alive through those hits while two DPS cookies pump damage.
| Position | Cookie | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | Hollyberry Cookie | Tank | Keeps the front line standing; Aegis variant if you have it. |
| Front | Millennial Tree Cookie | Secondary heal / buff | Heals the team through his 10-second World Tree form. His Elemental Force (team DMG +15% to +20%) needs Cookies of 4 or more different elements; Hollyberry, he and Sugar Swan cover Steel, Grass and Light, so a DPS pick must add a fourth. His form ends by inflicting Equilibrium, a debuff, and every attempted debuff gives Avatar of Destiny a Reversal stack. |
| Rear | Sugar Swan Cookie | Healer / revive | Her skill heals the whole team. With no other Healing Cookie here, she revives a fallen Cookie at 100% HP, up to twice per battle — the answer to Destiny: Doom. |
| Varies | DPS pick #1 | Sustained DPS | Burst DPS performs worse here — pick a long-uptime cookie. |
| Varies | DPS pick #2 | Sustained DPS | Pair with #1 so their skill rotations overlap during burst. |
Sugar Swan's team heal lands in a short burst on each cast, while Millennial Tree heals the team continuously through his 10-second World Tree form, so stagger the two rather than casting them together; that spreads your healing across more of the fight.
Tip: Pure Vanilla Cookie can take the Sugar Swan slot if you don't have her: his Love & Peace heals the team and casts a team HP Shield worth 20% of Max HP for 10 seconds. What you give up is the revive, because base Pure Vanilla has none. Don't run him alongside her, either — any other Healing Cookie on the team switches her revive off.
Machine-God — Stinging Fizz comp

The "Stinging Fizz" comp is built on a two-Cookie interaction. Seltzer Cookie (Epic Support, released in v6.8) applies the Stinging Fizz debuff with her Bubble Rain whenever Menthol Cookie (Epic Bomber, released alongside her) is on the team; against a boss it raises Water-type DMG taken by 21% for 15 seconds, stacking twice. When Menthol's Gas Explosion hits a Stinging Fizz target, it sets off a Fizz Bubble Explosion for 890.7% of ATK as area damage. Machine-God is immune to every non-Water debuff and takes 12% more Water DMG, both Cookies are Water-type, and both in-game recommended Machine-God loadouts include the pair.
| Position | Cookie | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | Hollyberry Cookie | Tank | Standard tank pick. |
| Front | Millennial Tree Cookie | Sustain | Team healing during his 10-second World Tree form. His Elemental Force needs Cookies of 4 or more different elements, and this team has three (Steel, Grass and Water; base Pure Vanilla has no element), so it stays off here. |
| Rear | Seltzer Cookie | Support / Stinging Fizz | With Menthol on the team, Bubble Rain applies Stinging Fizz and heals the team. |
| Rear | Menthol Cookie | Bomber DPS | Primary damage; his Gas Explosion sets off a Fizz Bubble Explosion on each Stinging Fizz target. |
| Rear | Pure Vanilla Cookie | Heal / shield | Love & Peace heals the team and casts a team HP Shield worth 20% of Max HP. |
The rotation order is what makes Stinging Fizz tick: Seltzer opens so Stinging Fizz is on the boss, and Menthol follows to detonate the Fizz. Stinging Fizz lasts 15 seconds on a boss and Seltzer's cooldown is 12, so she can keep it up between Menthol's 15-second casts.
Warning: Stinging Fizz is finicky on auto. Manual the first 20 seconds at minimum to land Seltzer's Stinging Fizz before Menthol's Gas Explosion; you can let auto coast the back half if you need to.
Living Abyss — Standard comp

Living Abyss arrived alongside Avatar of Destiny in Guild Battle's full release (the v3.5 mid-update); Machine-God, from v6.8, is the newest of the four. Per the Cookie Run Wiki, the boss is immune to every debuff except Burn, Explosive Burn and Vampiric Bite and has +95% DMG Resist, but it takes 19.3% of the damage dealt to its eight Licorice Ooze blobs, and each blob gains a Weakness stack (+6.25% DMG taken, up to x50) whenever it is incapacitated. This comp leans on Cookies whose skills Stun non-Cookie enemies, which is what keeps those stacks climbing.
| Position | Cookie | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front | Aegis Hollyberry Cookie | Tank | Aegis variant preferred. |
| Middle | Timekeeper Cookie | Control / damage | Dial Lock hits the 3 highest-ATK enemies, and its end effect Stuns non-Cookie targets for 1.7 seconds. |
| Middle | Dark Enchantress Cookie | Chaos DPS / control | Primary damage; her Abyss Stuns non-Cookie enemies for 3 seconds. |
| Middle | Eternal Sugar Cookie | Secondary DPS | |
| Rear | Sugar Swan Cookie | Healer / revive | Team heals; with no other Healing Cookie in this comp, her revive is on. |
If you don't have Timekeeper, fill the slot with another Cookie whose skill Stuns enemies, so the blobs keep taking Weakness stacks.
F2P-friendly swaps for each boss
Not every guild member has Timekeeper or a built Sugar Swan. These swaps fill the optimal pick's slot with a Cookie that does part of the same job; expect a lower score than with the optimal pick.
| Boss | Optimal pick | F2P swap |
|---|---|---|
| Red Velvet Dragon | Black Sapphire Cookie | None needed for the damage core: Black Sapphire, Poison Mushroom and Pomegranate are all Epic Cookies |
| Avatar of Destiny | Sugar Swan Cookie | Pure Vanilla Cookie |
| Machine-God | Seltzer + Menthol pair | Any Epic Bomber + Support pair you've built, ideally Water-type (there is no Stinging Fizz without both Seltzer and Menthol) |
| Living Abyss | Timekeeper Cookie | Sea Fairy Cookie (her skill Stuns the 5 closest enemies, standing in for Timekeeper's Stun) |
Two patterns to internalize: never skip the tank slot, and never skip the healer slot on Avatar of Destiny specifically (its True DMG hits are sized to your Cookies' Max HP, so no amount of DPS skips them).
Treasures by boss
Treasure picks shift the damage ceiling. Generic "always pack" treasures like Old Pilgrim's Scroll work everywhere; the boss-specific picks below are where you squeeze out extra percentage points.
| Boss | Treasure 1 | Treasure 2 | Treasure 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red Velvet Dragon | Pilgrim's Slingshot (defense shred) | Old Pilgrim's Scroll (ATK for all allies) | Squishy Jelly Watch (cooldown) |
| Avatar of Destiny | Dream Conductor's Whistle (ATK + CRIT%; heals the team if a carry falls) | Old Pilgrim's Scroll | Bear Jelly's Lollipop (ATK + CRIT% on your top attacker) |
| Machine-God | Squishy Jelly Watch (rotation speed) | Old Pilgrim's Scroll | Bear Jelly's Lollipop |
| Living Abyss | Squishy Jelly Watch | Crimson Magic Whistle (CRIT + elemental DMG) | Old Pilgrim's Scroll |
Red Velvet Dragon is where a defense shred earns its slot. The Cookie Run Wiki describes the boss as having very high DEF that needs DEF Reduction before your damage is worthwhile, and the Fandom wiki's treasure tier list (last edited November 2025) calls Pilgrim's Slingshot "a required tool" against it. Slingshot cuts the farthest enemy's DEF by 30% at Lv1 and 70% at Lv12 for 5 seconds, on a 10-second cooldown. Miraculous Ghost Ice Cream is a weaker fallback (-10% to -50% DEF on the three nearest enemies for 3 seconds). Bear Jelly's Lollipop is not a shred: it raises your highest-ATK ally's ATK and CRIT% by 20% to 40% for 5 seconds, which is the job it does in the Avatar of Destiny and Machine-God rows.
Warning: Keep debuff treasures off Avatar of Destiny. Per the Cookie Run Wiki it is immune to all debuffs, damage-over-time included, and every debuff you try to land other than damage-over-time gives it a Reversal stack. At three stacks it hits your whole team for True DMG equal to 50% of Max HP and stuns them for 4 seconds.
The two Whistle picks follow the in-game recommended loadouts listed on the wiki's boss pages (Devsisters' own picks, which the wiki flags as possibly outdated). Dream Conductor's Whistle gives all allies ATK +30% to +40% and CRIT% +15%, gives your two highest-ATK Cookies DMG Resist, and heals every other Cookie for 30% of Max HP when one of those two falls. Crimson Magic Whistle trades defense for damage: CRIT% +15%, CRIT DMG +10% and elemental DMG +20% to +45%, but your team takes 40% more elemental DMG and loses 2% Healing received every 5 seconds, stacking up to 10 times. The two are variants of each other, so you can equip only one.
Don't choose between cooldown and raw damage; run both. The Fandom wiki's tier list puts Old Pilgrim's Scroll (all allies ATK +30% at Lv1, +60% at Lv12) in its top tier alongside both Squishy and Sleepyhead's Jelly Watch, and all eight recommended loadouts on the Cookie Run Wiki's four Guild Battle boss pages include the Scroll. Squishy Jelly Watch cuts every allied Cookie's cooldowns by 10% to 25%, which buys more Menthol or Poison Mushroom casts per attempt; the Scroll makes each of those casts hit harder.
How to maximize damage per attempt
Nine fights per boss per round is not many. Guild Battle has a practice mode that costs no ticket (and gives no rewards), so learn a new boss there instead of on a real ticket.
Warm-up rotations
Buff and debuff skills only boost the damage that lands while they are up: Black Sapphire's debuffs last 10 to 15 seconds, Pomegranate's ATK buff 10 seconds and Stinging Fizz 15 seconds on a boss. Cast them in the first few seconds so your damage skills land on top of them. Specifically: open with Seltzer, Black Sapphire, Millennial Tree, or Pure Vanilla before your damage cookies, never after.
Manual vs auto
Two things auto-battle does not handle for you:
- Pair synergies: Stinging Fizz (Seltzer → Menthol) and Black Sapphire → Poison Mushroom both need a specific cast order that auto sometimes inverts.
- Burst window timing: auto casts each skill once its cooldown is up, queued front to back with about a second between casts (per the Fandom wiki's Cooldown page), so it won't hold a damage skill back until your buffs and debuffs are up.
Manual the opening 20 seconds and the final 20 seconds; the middle is fine on auto.
Tip: Record one of your attempts with screen capture and rewatch it to spot mis-timed skills.
Quick Action Checklist
- Assign anchor cookies in your guild before the weekly reset — Black Sapphire, Sugar Swan, Seltzer, Dark Enchantress.
- Build at least one tank (preferably Hollyberry) and one team healer (Millennial Tree or Pure Vanilla). Beside Hollyberry, a Defense Cookie, Millennial Tree's Nature's Protection buffs are off, so his only team damage buff is Elemental Force, which needs 4+ elements on the team.
- Lock treasures per boss — don't reuse one loadout across all four.
- Manual the first and last 20 seconds of every attempt; auto the middle if you must.
- Open every fight with your buff/support skill, not your damage skill.
- Track your damage per attempt in a guild sheet; the trend matters more than the single best run.
- Spend all 18 tickets every round (up to 9 per open boss): fighting all 18 battles adds a 400 Heroic Medal bonus.
- If you just unlocked a new cookie, check the tier list before slotting them into a Guild Battle comp.
