Cyberpunk TCG Conventions: Rebecca, Misty and Where to Play

WeirdCo's events calendar now lists eight convention stops from SPIEL Essen to February 2027. Only two still list the Rebecca promo. From Lucca on it is Misty Olszewski, a full-text card from the first set. Here is each stop, the three dates that disagree with the organisers, and where you can play or buy rather than just demo.

On the left are the yellow Cyberpunk TCG logo, CREATOR INVITATIONAL in large yellow letters with the O drawn as a crosshair bracket, and CD PROJEKT RED HQ, WARSAW, POLAND in cyan capitals. On the right, a painted dark-haired woman with her hair tied up, in a high-collared grey and red jacket, stands with one hand on her hip against a blurred grey and green background. A yellow stripe runs along the bottom edge.

The Rebecca: Having a Moment promo has two stops left on WeirdCo's calendar: SPIEL Essen, from 22 October, and Poznań Game Arena, from 23 October. Every convention listed after them, starting with Lucca on 28 October, names a different event promo: Misty Olszewski: Mender of Broken Spirits.

That comes from WeirdCo's Upcoming Events page, read on 14 October 2026, which now lists eight convention appearances running to February 2027. Separately, WeirdCo's dev blog announced today that it will stream a Creator Invitational from CD PROJEKT RED's Warsaw HQ on 20 October. This post covers which promo each stop offers, which stops let you play or buy rather than only demo, and three dates on WeirdCo's list that do not match the organisers' own sites.

Two stops list Rebecca and six list Misty. Four list somewhere to buy product, two list a tournament, and three still list their booth as TBC. PAX Unplugged is the only convention stop in the United States. The other North American date on WeirdCo's page is the Chicago Edgerunner Open, covered in the tickets and prizing breakdown. For SPIEL's day tickets, hours and the Hall 5 layout, our SPIEL Essen 2026 guide has the logistics.

Three dates that do not match the organiser

WeirdCo's calendar and the shows' own sites disagree in three places:

ShowWeirdCo listsOrganiser's site
Poznań Game Arena23–24 October 202623–25 October 2026
PAX Unplugged3–6 December 20264–6 December 2026
Festival International des Jeux, Cannes14–15 February 202726–28 February 2027

The PGA gap may just mean WeirdCo attends two of the three days. At PAX Unplugged, WeirdCo adds a Thursday that PAX does not list, and its own Showdown note names only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cannes is out by twelve days. Book travel on the organiser's dates, and check WeirdCo's page again before you go.

Rebecca's last two stops

WeirdCo's 4 July promo update promised the Rebecca promo "at every one of our major convention appearances between now and our retail release" and named four shows: Anime Expo, Gen Con, Japan Expo and SPIEL Essen. Three of those have run, so SPIEL is the last of the four. PGA, which the July post did not name, is listed with Rebecca too, and the two shows overlap on 23 and 24 October.

Official WeirdCo artwork for the Rebecca: Having a Moment convention promo, in a bold comic style: Rebecca, with green twin tails, red eyes and a wide-open, fanged mouth, raises an oversized red mechanical fist gripping a pink gun and holds a chunky pink and green shotgun against a yellow background scattered with confetti shards and flying shell casings.

Two things to know before you queue for her:

  • You cannot play her yet. The promo is a textless full-art card. Appendix B of the Tournament Rules lists "Rebecca - Having a Moment" among the textless promos that are "not currently legal for tournament play" until a card with the same name and subtitle is printed in an expansion set. The July post says she features in set two. The Tournament Rules breakdown covers Appendix B.
  • Lucca lists Misty, not Rebecca. Lucca runs 28 October to 1 November, which is before the 6 November retail release, but it was not one of the four shows the July post named. WeirdCo has not said whether Lucca hands out Rebecca as well. If she is the card you want, plan around Essen or Poznań.

The Rebecca routes that have already closed, including the backer-only Digital Beta Celebration, are in the cards-not-in-boosters breakdown.

Misty takes over from Lucca

From Lucca onward, every convention on the list names a Misty event promo. So do the Edgerunner Open Regionals. WeirdCo's EOR page puts a "Nova Rare Misty Olszewski: Mender of Broken Spirits Event Promo" in both the $75/€75 Major Leagues badge and the Streetkid attendee badge, and the spectator badge does not include it.

That gives Misty two US routes, PAX Unplugged and EOR Chicago. In Europe she is listed at Lucca, Utrecht, Paris and Cannes, plus EOR Warsaw. That fits the other line in the July post, which said WeirdCo will try to make promos available "in both the US and Europe as a minimum."

What the Misty promo actually is

Misty is the opposite of Rebecca in the way that matters: she is a full-text card from the first set, printed as a Rare in Welcome to Night City boosters.

A borderless full-art Unit with cyan frame details: Misty, with a blonde bob, dark lipstick and a spiked choker, sits hugging her knees in fishnet tights on a red couch, surrounded by lit candles on a patterned rug, with posters on the wall behind her. Cost 03 top left, UNIT and RAM x2 top right, the MYSTIC tag, the rules text beginning "This Unit can't attack," and power 0 bottom right. There is no reminder line under the rules text.

The card itself is a Blue Unit: cost 3, power 0, RAM 2, tagged MYSTIC. Its text reads: "This Unit can't attack. At the end of your turn, choose a card type. Then, reveal the top card of your deck. If it's the chosen type, add it to your hand and ready 1 Eddie. Otherwise, trash it."

Three things follow from that:

  • It is a variant, not a new card. WeirdCo's July post pledged that its promos "will only ever be variants" of cards in Booster Packs and/or Starter Decks. The Tournament Rules' Appendix B list of promos that are not yet legal names three textless cards: Lucyna Kushinada, David Martinez and Rebecca. Misty is not on it, and the #006 promo prints the same rules text as the Rare in Welcome to Night City. RAM 2 means one Blue Legend is enough to put her in a constructed deck.
  • Every miss costs a card. A wrong guess trashes the top card of your deck, and Comprehensive Rules 1.14 makes you lose the moment you must draw from an empty deck. That matters more in a 30-card sealed deck than in a 50-card constructed one. Name the type your deck runs most of: in a 40-card deck with 20 Units, naming Unit is a coin flip on the first reveal.
  • Naming Legend is allowed, but on the rules as written it can only miss. WeirdCo's Rules FAQ has two Misty rulings: Legends count as a card type, and you may choose Legends for her effect. But Comprehensive Rules 4.4 makes the deck an invalid area for a Legend, and 4.4.1 removes from the game any Legend that moves to one. So the top card of your deck should not be a Legend, and naming Legend trashes it. That is my reading of the two documents together, not a WeirdCo ruling.

A blue-framed Unit: Misty, with pale silver-pink hair and a spiked choker, leans across a table and holds a card out toward the viewer, with more cards spread on the table, a bookshelf on the left and candles glowing red on the right. Cost 03, RAM x2, the MYSTIC tag, the rules text ending in the reminder line "(Unit, Gear, and Program are card types.)", power 0, and collector number 119.

WeirdCo has not said in so many words that the convention promo is Set 1 Promos #006. It is the only Nova Rare Misty printing in the official database, and the EOR badge describes a Nova Rare Misty, so it is the closest match.

Where you can play, not just demo

Two stops list a tournament.

Lucca has an on-site Pre-release. Lucca runs 28 October to 1 November and the store Pre-release weekend is 30 October to 1 November, so the two overlap. The calendar gives no entry fee, no schedule and no word on whether it uses the same kit as store Pre-releases. WeirdCo's kit preview lists six Welcome to Night City boosters, three extra Legend cards, a Gorilla Arms promo and a set of dice, and the Night City Brawl and Showdown breakdown compares it with the Beta kit. One Tournament Rules line applies wherever you play: section 2.4.1 says cards opened at a Pre-release are legal only in that event until the set is released. Holophone's alpha also goes live on 30 October, and the Holophone breakdown covers what it does.

PAX Unplugged has Night City Showdowns. WeirdCo lists "Night City Showdown Events (2 Friday and Saturday, 1 Sunday)". That reads as two events on each of Friday and Saturday plus one on Sunday, though it could also mean two across both days. The first Showdown window runs 13 November to 6 December, so PAX Unplugged's Sunday is the window's last day. Showdowns are constructed best-of-3, and the Tournament Rules require sleeves at them (section 2.1.5). They also do not allow the no-sideboard "Quick" format (Appendix C.2.2), so bring a 7-card sideboard. The prizes are in the Brawl and Showdown breakdown. EOR Chicago starts five days later, on 11 December.

To find a store Pre-release instead, WeirdCo points players to its Store and Event Finder. The sealed deck rules cover the format.

Where you can buy product

Four stops list a shop: SPIEL Essen ("Retail Space (sealed products to purchase)"), plus a retail store at Utrecht, Paris and Cannes. SPIEL is the one to watch, because it closes on 25 October, twelve days before the 6 November retail release. The listing does not say which products the booth will sell or at what price.

Utrecht's booth is shared with Luminous Cards, which WeirdCo's retailer page names as its distributor for the Netherlands and eight other markets. Dubai is the one stop in a country with no named distributor: none of the 16 distributors on WeirdCo's retailer page covers the United Arab Emirates, and Tabletop.me lists demos and the Misty promo but no shop. WeirdCo's retailer page still ends: "Distributors for other regions will be announced soon!"

The Creator Invitational on 20 October

Unlike the conventions, this one you can watch from home. Per WeirdCo's 14 October dev blog post, on Tuesday 20 October 16 invited content creators play a live Pre-release event at CD PROJEKT RED's HQ in Warsaw. It streams on the Cyberpunk TCG Twitch and YouTube channels. The listed casters are Paweł Burza, Luohan Wei, WeirdCo Kawa (Cree), WeirdCo LD (Steve) and David McDarby. WeirdCo also promises "some very big announcements that you won't want to miss" and does not say what they are.

Check the start time before you set an alarm. WeirdCo gives it as "8am GMT / 9am CET". Both labels mean 08:00 UTC. On 20 October that is 9am in London, 10am in Warsaw, 4am in New York and 1am in Los Angeles, because Britain and Poland stay on summer time until 25 October. If WeirdCo meant 9am on the clock in Warsaw, the stream starts an hour earlier than that. The scheduled stream on either channel will settle it.

What WeirdCo has not said

As of 14 October 2026:

  • How you earn Misty at a convention. The July post tied Rebecca to completing a demo. The calendar gives no condition and no per-person limit for Misty.
  • Whether the convention Misty is the Set 1 Promos #006 printing.
  • Booths at PAX Unplugged, Paris and Cannes. All three read "TBC".
  • What the SPIEL, Utrecht, Paris and Cannes shops sell, and at what price.
  • The details of Lucca's Pre-release: entry, schedule and kit.
  • How many Showdowns PAX Unplugged runs, given the wording.
  • What the Creator Invitational's "very big announcements" are.
  • Anything in Japan, Australia or the rest of Asia-Pacific. No convention there is on the calendar.

Quick reference

  • Rebecca promo: SPIEL Essen (22–25 October, Hall 5, Booth 5G700) and PGA Poznań (WeirdCo lists 23–24 October). Not tournament-legal until a full-text Rebecca is printed in an expansion set.
  • Misty promo: Lucca, Dubai, Utrecht, Paris, PAX Unplugged and Cannes, plus the EOR Major Leagues and Streetkid badges. The database's one Nova Rare Misty (Set 1 Promos #006) is a full-text variant of a Blue Rare Unit: cost 3, RAM 2, power 0.
  • Play: an on-site Pre-release at Lucca, and Night City Showdowns at PAX Unplugged (sleeves and a 7-card sideboard).
  • Buy: SPIEL Essen (before the 6 November retail release), Utrecht, Paris and Cannes.
  • Watch: the Creator Invitational, 20 October, listed as 8am GMT / 9am CET, on Twitch and YouTube.
  • Dates to double-check: the organisers list PGA as 23–25 October, PAX Unplugged as 4–6 December and Cannes as 26–28 February 2027.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I still get the Cyberpunk TCG Rebecca: Having a Moment promo?
As of 14 October 2026, WeirdCo's events calendar lists the Rebecca: Having a Moment event promo at two conventions: SPIEL Essen in Germany (22 to 25 October 2026, Hall 5, Booth 5G700) and Poznań Game Arena in Poland (listed by WeirdCo as 23 to 24 October, Hall 5, Stand 60). Every convention listed after those, starting with Lucca Comics & Games on 28 October, names a Misty Olszewski event promo instead. WeirdCo's 4 July 2026 update tied the Rebecca promo to completing a Cyberpunk TCG demo session.
What is the Cyberpunk TCG Misty event promo?
The Misty event promo is Misty Olszewski: Mender of Broken Spirits, a Blue Cyberpunk TCG Unit with cost 3, power 0 and RAM 2 that cannot attack and, at the end of your turn, reveals the top card of your deck for a card type you name. The official database lists one Nova Rare printing of her, Set 1 Promos #006 by Bruno Ferreira (Bit Bot), which prints her full rules text. She is also a Rare in Welcome to Night City boosters (#119, art by ADIA). WeirdCo lists the Misty promo at Lucca, Tabletop.me Dubai, CardCon Utrecht, Le Royaume du TCG Paris, PAX Unplugged and the Cannes games festival, and in the Edgerunner Open Major Leagues and Streetkid badges.
Which conventions is Cyberpunk TCG attending?

Is the Rebecca: Having a Moment promo legal in Cyberpunk TCG tournaments?
Not yet. Appendix B of the Cyberpunk TCG Tournament Rules lists Rebecca - Having a Moment, Lucyna Kushinada - Fresh Beginnings and David Martinez - Built Different as textless promos that are not currently legal for tournament play. They become legal when a card with the same name and subtitle is printed in an official expansion set. WeirdCo said on 4 July 2026 that Rebecca will feature in set two and that the textless promo will then play identically to her full-text version.
When is the Cyberpunk TCG Creator Invitational?
The Welcome to Night City Creator Invitational is on Tuesday 20 October 2026. Sixteen invited content creators play a live Pre-release event at CD PROJEKT RED's HQ in Warsaw, streamed on the Cyberpunk TCG Twitch and YouTube channels.
