Pokopia Mystery Gift Codes: What Still Works

One Pokopia code is live, one has expired, and one free item has a hard deadline of January 31, 2027. Here is every Mystery Gift we could verify, what it gives, when it ends and the menu path that claims it.

Pokemon Pokopia has one live free-item code, one expired one, and one gift that disappears on January 31, 2027 whether or not you ever type a code. As of November 1, 2026, that is the whole list we could confirm. Nothing here is a Pokemon, but if you are building a lot of rooms the free furniture and recipes save crafting time.

Every date below was checked against a second source where one exists, and where an official Nintendo or Pokemon.com page exists we lead with it.

The Expansion Pass rows are single-claim purchase bonuses. The Resort code is the only open public code in the table, and the Ditto Rug is the only one that is free without a code.

How to redeem a Mystery Gift

Nintendo Support's article for the game gives the route, and it is the same for codes and for the no-code gifts:

  1. Start Pokopia and walk to the PC in your town, the one at a Pokemon Center, and press A.
  2. Select Get Items, then Mystery Gifts.
  3. Choose Get via Internet and pick the gift from the list, or choose Get with Code/Password and type the code.
  4. The gift arrives and the game saves automatically.

Two gates apply. Nintendo says you need an internet connection, and that it takes about 30 minutes of play before you can use the PC for Mystery Gift, so a brand-new save cannot claim anything yet. Our beginner guide covers that first half hour. Nintendo's store page says the user profile on your system must be linked to a Nintendo Account to connect to the internet, and that this does not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

The live code: Resort furniture

The code D1VE1NTHESEA gives a Resort sofa, a Resort table, a Resort hammock, a Resort stool and a Twisted potted plant. Serebii reported it on October 6 and says it came out of a newsletter sent to Pokopia players in North America. Nintendo Life and Dittobase both list the same code, the same five items and the same end date, February 29, 2028. Dittobase's walkthrough has you enter the code and then pick the gift labelled "Furniture Set Gift".

The Pokemon Company's own announcement is not one we could open, so the code rests on those three reports agreeing. If it ever fails for you, that is the first thing to suspect.

Nintendo Life points out that you can craft all of these furniture items yourself as you unlock the recipes, so this is a shortcut for newer saves rather than a way to reach anything locked.

The Ditto Rug and its deadline

The Ditto Rug is the free item with the date that matters. Nintendo's Pokopia store page describes it as an early purchase bonus for buying the game: choose Get via Internet in Mystery Gifts and claim it by Sunday, January 31, 2027. It works on both the Game-Key Card and digital versions. Nintendo's bundle page lists it among the bundle's bonuses too, and says it is also obtainable through normal gameplay, so missing the deadline does not lock the rug away forever.

Dittobase says the entry in the Get via Internet list is named "Early-Purchase Bonus".

The exact cutoff time is not official. Nintendo gives only the date. Nintendo Life lists 23:59 UTC on January 31, so claim it well before the last day.

The Expansion Pass bonuses are not all Mystery Gifts

If you bought the Expansion Pass, Pokemon.com lists two purchase bonuses, and they use two different menus. This is the part other lists blur.

  • Recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper. Press the + Button for the main menu, select Downloadable Content, then Check Items, then Receive. Nintendo's bundle page adds that you need the Ver. 1.1.0 update and that you can check claimed recipes at a workbench. Game8's Mystery Gift list appears to file this recipe under Get via Internet, but both Nintendo and Pokemon.com send you to the DLC menu, so look there.
  • 30 rare Pokemetal ingots. Pokemon.com says to buy the Expansion Pass by August 31, 2027 and an email with a code goes to the address on your Nintendo Account. Use Get with Code/Password in Mystery Gifts. The code is valid through September 30, 2027. Nintendo's bundle page words the deadlines a little differently (redeem the code by August 31, 2027, then claim the reward by September 30, 2027), so do not leave it in your inbox. Nintendo's bundle page says the code can only be claimed once.

Our Bubbly Basin DLC guide covers what the Expansion Pass itself contains.

The expired code and the Japan-only sets

P0K0P1AGARDENS gave a Chansey Plant and ended on October 7, 2026, according to Nintendo Life and Dittobase. Nintendo Life notes it was not an exclusive item and that the plant, and its Chansey resting-area habitat, can still be crafted. Serebii ties that code to live activations called Pokopia Gardens in London, Berlin and Paris; we found no second source for that, so we cannot confirm it.

Serebii also lists single-use serial codes that arrive with purchases in Japan and nearby regions: a Coro Coro magazine furniture set, a start-book crafting set, a Switch 2 bundle Resort set, and a Berry Furniture set with the Pokopia + Expansion Pass physical package. Nintendo Life reported on October 1 that the package launches in Japan on October 29, 2026, but we found no second source for the Berry set, and these codes are tied to buying the product. Serebii says Mystery Gift codes are region-free once you have one. We did not verify that claim ourselves, and none of the Japan-only items affects a player who bought the game elsewhere.

Where the sources disagree

  • Dynamic Ditto recipe route. Game8's list appears to put it under Get via Internet; Nintendo and Pokemon.com say Downloadable Content. We follow the two official pages.
  • Ditto Rug end time. 23:59 UTC (Nintendo Life) versus date-only (Nintendo, Dittobase, Game8). Nintendo gives no time.
  • Ingot deadlines. Pokemon.com frames them as purchase-by August 31, 2027 and code valid to September 30, 2027. Nintendo's page reads as redeem-the-code-by August 31 and claim-by September 30. The safe plan is the earlier date.
  • How far in you must be. Nintendo says about 30 minutes; Nintendo's figure is for Mystery Gift specifically, so go by it.

Quick Action Checklist

  • Own the game and have not claimed the Ditto Rug? Claim it via Get via Internet before January 31, 2027.
  • Enter D1VE1NTHESEA under Get with Code/Password for the Resort furniture set, any time before February 29, 2028.
  • Own the Expansion Pass? Receive the recipe from Downloadable Content, and redeem the emailed ingot code.
  • Do not bother with P0K0P1AGARDENS; it ended October 7, 2026.
  • Play about 30 minutes on a new save before looking for the menu.
  • Check the events guide for limited-time events, which pay out in-game rather than by code.
