Naruto Card Game Adds Essen, Paris, Lucca Event Pages

As of 31 August, three stops on Bandai's own NARUTO CARD GAME roadmap — Spiel Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games, all clustered in late October and early November — had a date on the roadmap graphic and nothing else. No event page, no venue address, no way to know what showing up would actually get you.

On 4 September, all three went live at once. Two of them are the same page wearing a different city's name. The third is missing a section the other two both have.

Three pages, one day, one gap closed

naruto-cardgame.com/en/news/spielessen-2026.php, .../parisgamesweek-2026.php and .../lucca-2026.php all appeared in the site's news feed dated 4 September 2026, each following the same "NARUTO CARD GAME Event Information" template Bandai has used for New York Comic Con and PAX Aus since 7 August. Every one of the three states, in the same sentence: "Registration for the Tutorial Sessions is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event." That line is the headline fact — none of these three require anything in advance.

Beyond that, the pages diverge in a way that is worth being precise about, because it changes what you can expect to walk away with.

The basics: dates, venues

All three require a paid ticket to the host convention — Bandai's pages say so explicitly and link out to each show's own ticketing page rather than selling anything themselves. None of the three pages names a booth number, which Bandai's New York Comic Con page does (#2705).

Essen and Paris are the same page twice

Diffing the two pages' HTML turns up exactly one kind of difference: venue name, city, country, the outbound ticket-site link, and the image filenames. Every section, every line of copy, every rule is identical, right down to "You may only participate in 1 tutorial session throughout SPIEL Essen" swapping only the event name.

Both pages carry the same four blocks in the same order:

• Tutorial Session — free, on-site sign-up, demo decks stay on the table.
• Participant Gifts — the CP-001 Chakra Card, for session attendees who are registered to the "NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL" on BANDAI TCG+ and complete a post-session survey.
• Merchandise — the NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-, $35 plus tax, one per person, limited daily quantities.
• Giveaways — a Logo Sticker for anyone who follows the official social accounts or registers for the TCG+ channel, no tutorial session required. Both pages link out to Instagram, Facebook, X and a "BANDAI TCG+ Registration" page (tcg-registration.php) for this.

That last point matters: the sticker giveaway is not tied to attending the tutorial session at all on these two pages. It is a separate, lower-bar action — follow an account or register a channel — sitting next to, not inside, the session-gated CP-001.

Lucca is missing a whole section

Lucca Comics & Games' page carries the Tutorial Session, Participant Gifts and Merchandise blocks, word for word the same as Essen and Paris. What it does not carry is the Giveaways block. No Logo Sticker, no "follow our social media" pitch, and no tcg-registration.php link anywhere on the page. Diffing Lucca's HTML against Essen's confirms it: every href pointing at TCG+ registration and every mention of "Logo Sticker" and "Giveaways" that appears on Essen's page is simply absent from Lucca's.

So on the terms Bandai has published today, showing up to the Lucca tutorial session and completing the survey gets you the CP-001 Chakra Card. It does not get you a sticker, and there is no separate action on the page that would.

I would not read a product decision into this. Lucca Comics & Games 2026 is the event's 60th-anniversary edition — Bandai's own key visual for the stop is stamped "LUCCA60," and coverage of the show's lineup lists a full BANDAI card games pavilion, Naruto included, among the confirmed activities. A missing giveaway block reads more like a page that was published in a hurry than a deliberate call to give Lucca less than the other two. What's fair to say is only what the page states: as published, Lucca does not carry the sticker giveaway or the TCG+ registration link that Essen and Paris both do.

Sign-up is on-site, not a lottery

It is worth being clear about which registration model this is, because NARUTO CARD GAME now runs three different ones depending on the event type. Gen Con 2026 used Gen Con's own advance ticketing, which opened weeks ahead of the show. The five Asian BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest stops — Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore — run a pre-registered lottery through the BANDAI TCG+ app, with a face-photo verification requirement and pages that say explicitly there is no same-day entry.

Essen, Paris and Lucca are neither of those. They follow the same model New York Comic Con and PAX Aus already established on 7 August: no advance ticket, no lottery, no app application window. You show up, and registration happens at the venue that day. The trade-off is the one Bandai's own wording flags on all five of these pages: Essen, Paris and Lucca each end their Tutorial Session section with "Please stay tuned for further details," and NYCC and PAX Aus close with the same idea in different words ("Stay tuned for more information!"). Either way it is publisher-speak for "the mechanics of the on-site queue are not published yet."

The sticker has been inconsistent since NYCC

Lucca's missing Giveaways block is not the only wrinkle in how Bandai has handled the Logo Sticker. Looking at the five general-convention pages published so far — the two from 7 August plus today's three — no two of them build the sticker into the page the same way:

Read across that table and there are four different combinations across five pages. NYCC bundles the sticker into the session-gated Participant Gifts and stops there. PAX Aus lists the sticker as a Participant Gift and repeats it in its own Giveaways block with the lower social-follow bar — the sticker appears twice on that single page. Essen and Paris drop the sticker out of Participant Gifts entirely and keep it only in Giveaways. Lucca drops it altogether.

None of that changes what the CP-001 card requires — every one of the five pages ties it to attending the session, registering the TCG+ channel and completing the survey, worded identically each time. It is specifically the sticker, the smaller of the two items, where Bandai's own copy has not settled on one structure across five publishes of what is meant to be the same template.

What this does and does not tell you

What the three new pages establish:

• Spiel Essen and Paris Games Week (22–25 October 2026) and Lucca Comics & Games (28 October – 1 November 2026) now have full venue addresses and confirmed tutorial sessions, closing the gap flagged as unpublished on 31 August.
• All three use on-site, day-of registration — no advance ticket, no lottery, matching the model already set at New York Comic Con and PAX Aus rather than Gen Con's or BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest's.
• The CP-001 Chakra Card is confirmed at all three, on the same session-plus-survey terms as every other 2026 stop.
• Essen and Paris both add a Logo Sticker giveaway with its own TCG+ registration link; Lucca's page has neither.

What it does not:

• It does not say why Lucca's page omits the sticker giveaway and the TCG+ link — that could be a publishing gap as easily as a deliberate difference, and Bandai's pages carry no explanation either way.
• It does not publish how the on-site sign-up queue will actually work at any of the three — capacity, wait time, or whether it can fill up before the show floor opens.
• It says nothing about NARUTO CARD GAME product, pricing or a release date. The $35 playmat remains the only priced item at any of these booths, and Summer 2027 remains the only release language on Bandai's roadmap.
