Two Naruto TCGs at Paris Games Week and Lucca 2026

Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME and Cicaboom's NARUTO Mythos TCG have booked the same two European shows. At Paris Games Week they are at booths E8 and E30; at Lucca, in Piazza Santa Maria and the Padiglione Carducci. Bandai's tutorial seats now have to be booked in advance, from Wednesday 14 October, and each of its stops sells its playmat a different way. Cicaboom's booths are about promo cards, including a Lucca demo card printed with two rules terms no published Mythos document defines.

Right: Cicaboom's NARUTO Mythos TCG promo card Neji Hyuga, You never meant to be a ninja, numbered SP 112/140 V with a PROMO EVENT stamp, showing Neji standing with arms crossed in front of a green banner while Kiba, Rock Lee and Shikamaru sit behind him.

Two companies that make unrelated Naruto trading card games have booked the same two European shows later this month. At Paris Games Week, 22 to 25 October, Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME is at booth E8 and Cicaboom's NARUTO Mythos TCG is at booth E30, both inside Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. At Lucca Comics & Games, 28 October to 1 November, Bandai sets up in Piazza Santa Maria and Cicaboom in the Padiglione Carducci.

They are not offering the same thing. Bandai's game does not release until Summer 2027, so its tables are tutorials played with demo decks you hand back, and a seat now has to be booked in advance: registration for SPIEL Essen, Paris and Lucca opens on Wednesday 14 October. Cicaboom's game has been on European shelves since 13 March 2026, so its booths are about promo cards. One of them, at Lucca, is a card Cicaboom bills as the first NARUTO Mythos Shippuden TCG card, and it is printed with two rules terms that no published Mythos document defines.

Everything below is read from Bandai's event pages, Cicaboom's Events page and card gallery, and the official SPIEL and Paris Games Week exhibitor lists, all on 10 October 2026. Both companies are also at New York Comic Con this weekend, which is still running as this goes up, so it is not covered here. Bandai's NYCC page lists a "NARUTO: What's Next?" panel for today, Saturday 10 October, promising "the new roadmap for the future of the NARUTO universe". Anything announced there postdates this guide.

Bandai's pages say every activity needs the host show's own admission ticket, and list the tutorials themselves as free. Cicaboom's Events page publishes no admission or booking terms for its Paris or Lucca booths.

Bandai's seats are booked online, from 14 October

When Bandai first published its Essen, Paris and Lucca pages on 4 September, our breakdown of those pages reported free, on-site, day-of registration. When our SPIEL Essen guide read the Essen page on 28 September, participation details were still to be "announced at a later date". All three pages, still dated 4 September, now carry an advance booking window instead:

ShowWhere you registerOpens

Paris Games WeekAn online shop (Weeztix), linked from Bandai's page6:00 p.m. local time (CEST), Wednesday 14 October
Lucca Comics & GamesBANDAI TCG+11:00 a.m. CEST, Wednesday 14 October

All three are first come, first served. The Essen and Paris buttons already lead to Weeztix shop pages listing one "Naruto - Demo Timeslots" event for each show day, 22 to 25 October, each split into free hourly slots starting from 10:00, with none at 14:00. Lucca's "Registration Page" button is on the page but not yet linked to anything.

Ignore the "CET" on the first two. Bandai's Essen and Paris pages write 6:00 p.m. CET, but Germany and France are still on summer time on 14 October; the clocks do not go back until Sunday 25 October, the last day of both shows. Read literally, 6:00 p.m. CET would be 7:00 p.m. on a local clock. Both Weeztix shops are set to release their slots at 18:00 UTC+2, which is CEST, and Bandai's own entry on the official Paris Games Week exhibitor list says registrations open "at 06:00 PM CEST on October 14". So be ready at 6:00 p.m. local time in Essen and Paris. The same exhibitor entry adds that a BANDAI TCG+ account is not required to book.

Each page carries the same warning: "Players may register for a maximum of one event. Any attempts to circumvent this limit will result in exclusion from all demo events." Each also limits you to one tutorial session for the whole show.

The participation gift at all three is the CP-001 Chakra Card, the same card Bandai has handed out since Gen Con, on the same terms: you must be registered to the "NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL" on BANDAI TCG+ and complete a survey after your session. That channel is a separate sign-up from the tutorial booking. Bandai's own page for it says it "is not for event participation at a venue", so joining it does not get you a seat, and booking a seat does not join you to it. It costs nothing to sort out before the 14th.

The playmat works three different ways

Bandai sells one product at each of these stops, the NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-, listed at "$35 (+tax)": a dollar price, on pages for shows in Germany, France and Italy. How you get the chance to buy one differs at every stop:

ShowWho can buyHow it works
SPIEL EssenTutorial participants onlyEvery participant gets purchase eligibility, valid only on the day of their session
Paris Games WeekTutorial participants onlyFirst come, first served among participants, subject to a daily allocation, valid only on the day of their session
Lucca Comics & GamesThe page does not limit it to participantsPurchase tickets that each reserve a time slot, released one week before each show day

Lucca's release schedule is spelled out on the page: tickets for Wednesday 28 October go live on Wednesday 21 October, Thursday 29 October's on Thursday 22 October, and so on through the five show days, which puts the last release on Sunday 25 October. You can reserve one playmat across the whole show. The page does not say where the tickets are released. All three pages cap the playmat at one per person and say quantities are limited each day.

The gifts differ in a smaller way. Essen and Paris list only CP-001 as the participant gift, and keep the logo sticker in a separate Giveaways block for anyone who follows Bandai's social accounts or joins the TCG+ channel. Lucca lists CP-001 and the sticker together as participant gifts and has no Giveaways block.

Mythos at Paris Games Week: a demo promo and a buy promo

Cicaboom's Events page lists booth E30 and two promo cards, with no booking process published:

  • Try the game: Neji Hyuga, "You never meant to be a ninja", a Special rarity Shinobi Shiren card numbered 112/140 V and stamped PROMO EVENT. It is the Neji in the hero image above.
  • Buy products: Naruto Uzumaki, Shadow Clone Jutsu, numbered 108/130 V. The page adds that terms and conditions "will be available at the booth".

On the published terms, the Neji is easier to get than it was in the summer. The same Events page lists it as a "Buy a Box Promo" at Gen Con and a "Buy 1 display box" promo at Gamescom. At Paris, the listed route is playing the demo.

Two official NARUTO Mythos TCG cards side by side, both Naruto Uzumaki, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Mythos 108/130 V, cost 5 and Power 5, with identical TEAM 7 / JUTSU and LEAF VILLAGE labels and identical MAIN and UPGRADE text. On the left, the Paris Games Week buy-products promo shows a grinning Naruto with no stamp. On the right, the Store Championship participation card shows a straight-faced Naruto and a gold STORE CHAMPIONSHIP stamp beside the outline figure.

The Naruto needs a closer look, because the name is not new. It shares its number, its cost and Power of 5 and its text with the participation card from June and July's Store Championships, and Cicaboom's card gallery files the two as versions of one card. The art is different, and the Store Championship copy carries a Store Championship stamp where this one has none. It is not new to this show either: the Events page shows this unstamped version as Cicaboom's buy-a-box promo at San Diego Comic-Con, at a Good Games store during Gen Con, and at New York Comic Con this weekend.

Mythos at Lucca: the first Shippuden card

At the Padiglione Carducci, Cicaboom's Events page lists four items:

  • Play the demo and get: NARUTO, Rasen Shuriken, billed as "THE FIRST NARUTO MYTHOS SHIPPUDEN TCG CARD!"
  • An exclusive playmat.
  • Two "Exclusive Promo Card Lucca Logo" cards: NARUTO, The Final Valley (147/140 V) and SASUKE, The Final Valley (148/140 V).

Only the first comes with a route. The page gives no terms for the playmat or the two Final Valley cards. The card gallery files both Final Valley cards under Set 2, Shinobi Shiren, with the note "Lucca Comics Promo".

Official NARUTO Mythos TCG promo card NARUTO, Rasen Shuriken, numbered SP 7/140 V, cost 4 and Power 4, with a PROMO EVENT stamp. Naruto in an orange-and-black outfit lunges forward, one arm stretched back toward a glowing blue sphere, in front of a faded image of a white cloak with red kanji. The keywords read TEAM 7 / JUTSU, the faction LEAF VILLAGE, and the gold text box reads FIRST STRIKE: Retreat an enemy character in this mission with Power lower than your Loyalty to Leaf Village. The bottom edge reads 1st EDITION NARUTO SHIPPUDEN MYTHOS TCG.

Rasen Shuriken costs 4 and has 4 Power. Its bottom edge reads "1st EDITION NARUTO SHIPPUDEN MYTHOS TCG", where the Set 1 and Set 2 cards pictured in this post read NARUTO MYTHOS TCG. Its entire effect is one line:

FIRST STRIKE ↯ Retreat an enemy character in this mission with Power lower than your Loyalty to Leaf Village.

FIRST STRIKE is already in the game: the current rulebook says it triggers only if this is the first character you play in the round, and our how-to-play guide covers it. "Retreat" and "Loyalty" are new. Neither word appears in the rulebook dated 27 August 2026, the official FAQ, the Game Mechanics page or the How to Play page, and none of the 638 Set 1 and Set 2 entries in the official card gallery uses either one. Cicaboom has said Set 3, Akatsuki, is where the game will "enter the world of NARUTO Shippuden for the first time". Until it publishes rules for those two words, no published document tells you what this card does when it resolves.

Two official NARUTO Mythos TCG Lucca promo cards side by side, each stamped LUCCA60 and costing 7 with Power 7. On the left, NARUTO, The Final Valley, SP 147/140 V, shows young Naruto shouting, wrapped in red chakra, with a small blue sphere in one hand. On the right, SASUKE, The Final Valley, SP 148/140 V, shows a grey-skinned Sasuke shouting as he lunges forward with a crackling ball of lightning. Both have silver holographic backgrounds and large Japanese name lettering.

The two Final Valley cards are built as a pair, since each one's DUEL line names the other. NARUTO's MAIN stops enemy characters moving out of its Mission, and its DUEL with Sasuke Uchiha gives it a Power token for every non-hidden enemy character in play. SASUKE's DUEL with Naruto Uzumaki is POWERUP 3, and its MAIN defeats an enemy upgraded character in its Mission with less printed Power than Sasuke's own Power, after which Sasuke must move, if able. The prize ladder for the rest of Shinobi Shiren's promo cards is in our Shinobi Shiren set guide.

SPIEL Essen: Bandai yes, Cicaboom no

The official SPIEL exhibitor list puts Bandai Card Games at 5J500 in Hall 5, and its entry says the stand presents the One Piece Card Game and "the upcoming Naruto Card Game". Cicaboom has no entry on the list, and its Events page has no SPIEL date this year, although NARUTO Mythos TCG had its first public showing at SPIEL 2025.

Three other entries on the list are worth knowing so you do not walk to the wrong stand. Zvezdar, which Cicaboom's Products page still lists as the game's distributor for Europe (a role our Breakflip and Zvezdar piece found contested), has a stand at 5C500 with no description. Kayou, whose Naruto line is a collectible rather than a game, is at 5A700, and its entry does not mention Naruto. And French studio This Is A Game, at 4G400 in Hall 4, lists playable demos of a "Naruto Shippuden Battle", without saying what kind of game it is; it is not one of the games covered here. The SPIEL Essen guide covers tickets, halls and the new North entrance that leads straight into Hall 5.

Dubai is Bandai's newest stop

The most recent item on Bandai's English NARUTO CARD GAME news feed, dated 9 October, adds Tabletop.me in Dubai: 6 to 8 November 2026, at The Concourse Convention Center, Dubai Outlet Mall. Tabletop.me bills itself as the Middle East's first board gaming convention, and it is the only Middle East date on that feed.

Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME key visual for Tabletop.me: the NARUTO CARD GAME logo and the lowercase tabletop.me wordmark on a pale grey swirl background, beside illustrations of Naruto making a hand sign and Sasuke crackling with lightning.

The page is thinner than the European ones: a free Tutorial Session, demo decks you cannot take home, and a line that registration "is planned to take place on-site on the day of the event. Please stay tuned for further details." It lists no participant gift and no playmat. The game already has a route into the region on paper: Bandai's retailer page names two Middle East distributors, Jazeel and Active Gulf, as our distributor breakdown covers.

What is still not published

  • Mythos booking. Cicaboom's Events page lists no sign-up, session times or capacity for its demos at Paris or Lucca.
  • Mythos terms. The Paris buy promo's conditions are "available at the booth", and nothing is published for the Lucca playmat or the two Final Valley cards.
  • Retreat and Loyalty. No Mythos document defines either term yet.
  • Bandai's Lucca link. The registration button is not live, and the page does not say where the playmat tickets go on sale.
  • Session length and seat counts at any of Bandai's stops (the Essen and Paris shops give start times only), and any gift at all for Dubai.

Bandai details are read from its NARUTO CARD GAME event pages for SPIEL Essen, Paris Games Week, Lucca Comics & Games, Tabletop.me and New York Comic Con, its English news index and BANDAI TCG+ channel page, and the two Weeztix shop pages its registration buttons link to. All were checked on 10 October 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Naruto card games are at Paris Games Week 2026?
Two, per the official Paris Games Week exhibitor list. Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME is at booth E8 and Cicaboom's NARUTO Mythos TCG is at booth E30, both at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles during Paris Games Week, 22 to 25 October 2026. Bandai runs free tutorial sessions booked in advance, with the CP-001 Chakra Card as the participation gift. Cicaboom lists a Neji Hyuga promo card for trying its game and a Naruto Uzumaki, Shadow Clone Jutsu promo for buying products, with terms available at the booth.
How do you register for a NARUTO CARD GAME tutorial at SPIEL Essen or Paris Games Week?
Through an online shop linked from Bandai's event pages, which leads to Weeztix pages listing one demo-timeslot event per show day. Registration opens first come, first served on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 6:00 p.m. local time. Bandai's event pages label it CET, but Germany and France are on summer time that day, and both Weeztix shops are set to open at 18:00 CEST, the time Bandai also gives on the official Paris Games Week exhibitor list. Players may register for a maximum of one event, and attempts to get around that limit lead to exclusion from all demo events. The tutorials are free, but you need a ticket to the show itself.
How do you register for the NARUTO CARD GAME tutorial at Lucca Comics & Games 2026?
On BANDAI TCG+, first come, first served, from 11:00 a.m. CEST on Wednesday 14 October 2026, per Bandai's Lucca event page. As of 10 October the page's registration button was not yet linked. The Lucca tutorials run during Lucca Comics & Games, 28 October to 1 November 2026, in Piazza Santa Maria, and participants who are registered to the NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL on BANDAI TCG+ and complete a survey receive the CP-001 Chakra Card and a logo sticker.
Can you buy the NARUTO CARD GAME playmat at Essen, Paris or Lucca?
Yes, at $35 plus tax as listed, one per person, in limited daily quantities, but the route differs by show. At SPIEL Essen every tutorial participant gets purchase eligibility for the day of their session. At Paris Games Week participants can buy first come, first served within a daily allocation, on the day of their session. At Lucca Comics & Games Bandai releases time-slot purchase tickets one week before each show day, from 21 October for 28 October through 25 October for 1 November, and the page does not restrict them to tutorial participants.
What is the NARUTO Mythos TCG Rasen Shuriken promo card?
NARUTO, Rasen Shuriken is a NARUTO Mythos TCG promo card, numbered SP 7/140 V, that Cicaboom gives for playing its demo at Lucca Comics & Games 2026 and bills as the first NARUTO Mythos Shippuden TCG card. It costs 4 Chakra, has 4 Power and reads: FIRST STRIKE, Retreat an enemy character in this mission with Power lower than your Loyalty to Leaf Village. The terms Retreat and Loyalty do not appear in Cicaboom's rulebook dated 27 August 2026, its FAQ, its Game Mechanics or How to Play pages, or any Set 1 or Set 2 card in the official gallery.
Is NARUTO Mythos TCG at SPIEL Essen 2026?
Not according to Cicaboom's own Events page, which lists New York Comic Con, Paris Games Week and Lucca Comics & Games for October 2026 but no SPIEL date, and the official SPIEL exhibitor list has no Cicaboom entry. Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME is at SPIEL Essen, at stand 5J500 in Hall 5. Zvezdar, which Cicaboom's Products page lists as NARUTO Mythos TCG's distributor for Europe, has a SPIEL stand at 5C500 with no description of what it is showing.
Is the NARUTO CARD GAME coming to the Middle East?
Bandai's NARUTO CARD GAME has a tutorial session at Tabletop.me in Dubai, 6 to 8 November 2026, at The Concourse Convention Center, Dubai Outlet Mall, per an event page Bandai published on 9 October 2026. The session is free with show admission, and registration is planned on-site on the day. Bandai's retailer page also names two Middle East distributors for the game, Jazeel and Active Gulf, ahead of its Summer 2027 worldwide release.

Naruto Card Game Adds Essen, Paris, Lucca Event Pages

Three roadmap stops that carried no event details as of 31 August got real pages today. Spiel Essen and Paris Games Week are near-identical templates — venue, a free on-site tutorial session, the CP-001 Chakra Card, the $35 playmat, and a separate sticker giveaway gated behind a TCG+ channel registration. Lucca Comics & Games got the same venue, tutorial session, CP-001 card and playmat listing, but not the sticker: no separate giveaway block, no TCG+ registration link at all.

Naruto Card Game Teaching Sessions: How to Get a Seat

NARUTO CARD GAME does not go on sale until Summer 2027, and every route Bandai has published to actually playing it is a demo table at an event. Across 6, 21 and 28 August the company turned a vague line about BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest into seven real event pages. Five of them carry an application window, a lottery-result date and a CP-001 prize — Jakarta's has already closed, Manila's shuts on 3 September, and Bangkok and Singapore both open on 11 September.
