Elden Ring Remembrance Rewards: What Each One Unlocks
Trade a Remembrance to Finger Reader Enia and she offers exactly one item, not two — pick wrong and the other is gone unless you find a Wandering Mausoleum or Duplication Coffin first. Here is every Remembrance, both of its rewards with stat requirements, the one that is secretly a three-way choice, and the item that behaves like a Remembrance but is not one.

Kill a Remembrance boss and the game hands you a glowing tool with no obvious use. Carry it to Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold and she offers you a choice — usually two items, sometimes three — and once you pick, the option you didn't take is gone. Not sold elsewhere, not craftable, not available from any other NPC. Gone, unless you happen to find one of the small number of ways to duplicate that specific Remembrance before you spend it.
Whether eating a Remembrance for runes instead is worth it is a separate question with its own math. This is about the other side of that choice: what the two rewards actually are, what they cost to use, and the handful of Remembrances that don't play by the two-item rule at all.
A Remembrance only pays out once
Every Remembrance works the same way at Enia: trade it in, and she asks which of its rewards you want. Checked one by one against the Elden Ring wiki's Remembrances page, there are 25 true Remembrances — 18 Legend Remembrances and 7 Shardbearer Remembrances, split across the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree. A 26th item, the Heart of Bayle, behaves the same way but is not officially one of them — more on that below.
Almost every Remembrance offers a straight pick between two items: usually a weapon and a spell, occasionally two weapons, occasionally a weapon and a Talisman or Ash of War. Whichever you don't choose stays locked unless the Remembrance itself is duplicated first.
Every Remembrance and both of its rewards
Stat requirements below are the raw numbers to wield or cast the item at all, not to two-hand it. Runes are what the Remembrance pays out if you eat it instead of trading it — the same figures verified in the rune cost breakdown.

A few of those are worth pulling out on their own. Blasphemous Blade requires 22 Str/15 Dex/21 Fai and its Taker's Flames skill heals you on every kill inside the flame wave — the full case for it is in the best weapons guide.

Sacred Relic Sword needs 14 Str/24 Dex/15 Fai and is the New Game Plus rune-farm tool built around its Waves of Gold skill. Both are locked behind beating the boss that guards them and neither becomes available until you trade the correct Remembrance — there is no separate purchase path for either one.

The one that's secretly a three-way choice
Every wiki table, including the region and boss stat pages cited elsewhere on this site, lists Remembrance of a God and a Lord as a straight two-item trade: a Greatsword or an incantation. Reading Enia's own trade dialogue on the wiki's item page tells a different story — she actually offers three options: the Greatsword of Radahn (Lord), the Greatsword of Radahn (Light), or the Light of Miquella incantation. The two Greatsword variants share identical stat requirements and base stats; they differ cosmetically. So functionally it is still a two-way build decision — melee Colossal Sword versus Faith incantation — but if you're set on the weapon, you get to also choose which of its two skins you want, not just take whatever the game hands you.

How to get both rewards: duplication
You are not stuck picking one reward forever — Elden Ring gives you a small, fixed number of chances to duplicate a Remembrance and walk away with both options. Wandering Mausoleums and Remembrance Duplication Coffins each work once per structure, even on a Remembrance you've already spent.
The rule is not "any Mausoleum, any Remembrance." Per the wiki's own Wandering Mausoleum and Remembrance pages: Mausoleums with bells can duplicate any Remembrance, including the 7 Shardbearer ones, while the two bell-less Mausoleums — both in the Uld Palace Ruins area of Liurnia — can only duplicate the 18 Legend Remembrances, not a Shardbearer's.
Seven mausoleums, three coffins, ten total
Counting the wiki's own location list: there are 5 bell-bearing Wandering Mausoleums (Weeping Peninsula, Liurnia of the Lakes, Deeproot Depths, Mountaintops of the Giants, Consecrated Snowfield) and 2 bell-less ones together in the Uld Palace Ruins, for 7 Mausoleums total in the base game. Shadow of the Erdtree adds 3 Remembrance Duplication Coffins in the Realm of Shadow — Cathedral of Manus Metyr, Finger Ruins of Dheo, and Finger Ruins of Rhia — each of which can duplicate any Remembrance including Shardbearers'.
That's 10 duplication uses per playthrough, against 25 true Remembrances. You cannot get both rewards from every boss in one run; you can get both rewards from up to 10 of them if you plan which ones matter to your build before you spend them. The wiki also notes duplication access resets each time you start a new Journey, so a New Game Plus character regains all 10 uses even though the Remembrances themselves have to be re-earned.
Heart of Bayle cannot be duplicated at all, by either method — see below.
The Heart of Bayle is not a Remembrance
Bayle the Dread, the endgame dragon of Shadow of the Erdtree, drops the Heart of Bayle. It functions almost identically to a Remembrance — trade it for one of two exclusive incantations — but the wiki is explicit that it is classified as a Key Item, not a Remembrance, and that distinction has three real consequences:
- It cannot be consumed for runes. There is no rune-farming option here at all — Fextralife's own table lists its rune value as "N/A."
- It cannot be duplicated at a Wandering Mausoleum or a Remembrance Duplication Coffin, per an explicit note on both the Heart of Bayle and Coffin wiki pages. Whichever of Bayle's Flame Lightning or Bayle's Tyranny you pick is the only one you will ever get on that save.
- It isn't traded to Enia. You gain its power at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, the same location where you consume Dragon Hearts — a genuinely different NPC and location than every real Remembrance uses.
Both rewards are Arcane incantations — Bayle's Flame Lightning at 53 Arc, Bayle's Tyranny at 49 Arc — so unlike most Remembrances, this isn't even a weapon-versus-spell decision. It's a choice between two spells that both want the same stat, with zero chance at a do-over.
One reward costs extra runes on top
Nearly every Remembrance trade at Enia is free once you've paid with the Remembrance itself. Regal Omen Bairn, the alternative to Morgott's Cursed Sword from Remembrance of the Omen King, is the one exception on this entire list — the wiki's acquisition note is explicit that Enia wants the Remembrance and 5,000 runes together for it. It's a small amount relative to what a mid-game character is carrying, but it's the only reward here that isn't a flat one-for-one trade.
Quick Action Checklist
- Decide before you trade, not after. Enia's offer is permanent the moment you choose, and neither reward is sold or crafted anywhere else.
- Check the requirements table above against your build, not just the weapon name — several "obvious" picks need a stat investment (Carian Regal Scepter wants 60 Int, Hand of Malenia wants 48 Dex) you may not actually have.
- Save your bell Mausoleums for Shardbearer Remembrances. The two bell-less ones in Uld Palace Ruins can't touch them, so spend those two on Legend Remembrances you're on the fence about.
- Budget your 10 duplications across the whole run — 7 Mausoleums plus 3 Shadow of the Erdtree Coffins is the hard cap per Journey, not per Remembrance.
- Don't wait on the Heart of Bayle. It cannot be duplicated by any method, so pick between Bayle's Flame Lightning and Bayle's Tyranny knowing it's final.
- Keep 5,000 runes in reserve before trading Remembrance of the Omen King if you want the Regal Omen Bairn — it's the one reward with an extra cost attached.
- Remember the Radahn Greatswords are cosmetic twins. If the build decision is "Colossal Sword," picking Lord versus Light doesn't change your stats — pick Light of Miquella instead if the decision is actually "melee versus incantation."
