Active Genshin Impact Codes

Six codes redeem right now. Five are global (playable on America, Europe, Asia and TW/HK/Macao servers, not China), and one is a China-only code that has been redeemable since 2020.

Last verified: September 16, 2026, against the Genshin Impact Wiki's live Promotional Code tracker, which is updated by editors as codes are discovered and as they expire.

The five global codes add up to 180 Primogems, plus 30,000 Mora, two cooking ingredient stacks, and a spread of EXP materials, if you redeem all five on one account. None of them have a published expiry date on the tracker — they are logged as valid since their discovery date, which for the oldest of the five (2BJ64QRZ7RT8) is seven weeks and counting.

Worth flagging: Y6JYMKV6JKSL and 2BJ64QRZ7RT8 are easy to lump in with that week's livestream codes since they surfaced around the same run of updates, but they don't share that expiry. The wiki's Active Codes table still carries both with no expiry logged, and their discovery dates — September 13 and July 31 — don't line up with a shared drop event either. If you see either one listed as "expired" elsewhere, try it anyway; it costs nothing to find out.

How to Redeem a Genshin Impact Code

You need Adventure Rank 10 for most codes. A small number of historical exceptions — GENSHINGIFT and codes bundled with Prime Gaming offers — were redeemable from Adventure Rank 1, with Adventure Rank 2 required to actually open the reward in your mailbox. Redeeming Online vs. In-Game

Genshin Impact supports both redemption paths, and they land in the same place — your in-game mailbox.

Online (works from any device):

1. Go to the official Code Redemption page at genshin.hoyoverse.com/gift.
2. Log in with the account you play on.
3. Select your server and enter the code exactly as written — codes are case-sensitive.
4. Confirm. The reward is sent to your in-game mailbox, not applied instantly.

In-game:

1. Open the Paimon Menu.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Redeem Code.
3. Type the code and confirm.

Either way, open your Mailbox afterward and claim the attachment. Mail with unclaimed attachments doesn't sit forever — the mailbox caps at 1,000 entries and starts auto-deleting the oldest claimed or attachment-free mail once you're over that, so claim promptly rather than letting redeemed codes pile up unopened.

Recently Expired Codes

If a code you found is failing, check here before assuming you mistyped it. All eight of these were live within the last five weeks and are now dead:

Rekviem, Vesna0923 and PrimaDonna are the three codes from the Version 7.1 "A Rekviem for the Underworld" Special Program, broadcast September 12. Together they paid 300 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 5 Hero's Wit and 50,000 Mora — and all three were already dead by the time this page was checked, three days after the broadcast. If a friend just told you about the livestream and sent you one of those three strings, it's too late; don't burn time retyping it.

Where New Codes Come From

New codes arrive from a handful of recurring sources:

• Special Program livestreams. Every version livestream (roughly every six weeks, one per major or minor update) hands out three codes worth 100 Primogems each on screen. Version 7.1's were Rekviem, Vesna0923 and PrimaDonna.
• HoYoLAB articles and web events. MySnezhnayaCareer came from a HoYoLAB career-test article tied to the Version 7.0 "Everwinter Without Mercy" launch, not a stream.
• Social media collabs and milestones. BALLETCOLLAB is a collab-tied code; codes like it typically post on the official Genshin Impact accounts rather than in-game.
• Region-specific promotions. The Snezhnaya code above was Southeast Asia-only — most codes are tagged "Global" on the wiki's tracker, but region-locked exceptions do happen.

Why Livestream Codes Expire So Fast

Special Program codes are built to expire quickly by design. Per the wiki's own tracking notes, livestream codes historically expired within 16 hours of the broadcast; since Version 5.3, HoYoverse extends that window, and the observed gap for the three Version 7.1 codes was September 12 to September 15 — about three days. That's still short next to the five non-livestream global codes active right now, the oldest of which has been redeemable for seven weeks with no expiry in sight. If you want the livestream Primogems, redeem them the same day the stream airs; if you're reading a code list a week later, assume they're already gone and check the active table above instead.

Why a Code Might Fail

A handful of reasons cover almost every failed redemption:

• It already expired. Check the expired table above — none of those eight will work anymore regardless of where you found them.
• You already redeemed it on this account. Every code is one-time-per-account. A second attempt either returns an already-in-use error or gets silently accepted with a mailbox notice saying it's already claimed — either way, you won't get a second reward, even if you don't remember claiming it the first time.
• You're under Adventure Rank 10. Nearly every current code enforces this floor. Push a bit further into the story or world exploration and retry.
• Typos. Codes are case-sensitive strings of letters and numbers — 0 vs. O and stray trailing spaces from a copy-paste are the most common culprits.
• Wrong server. A code tagged for one server (like the Southeast Asia-only Snezhnaya code above) will not redeem on a different one, even with an otherwise valid, unexpired code.

What to Spend Free Primogems On

Code Primogems are small individually — the five active global codes add up to 120, nowhere near a guaranteed pull on their own — but they stack with your other income into the same pool everything else draws from. • Special Program livestream codes historically die within days of the broadcast — redeem them same-day if you catch a future stream live.
