Active Genshin Impact Codes

Six global codes that pay Primogems are live, worth 290 Primogems between them. Four more codes pay only materials (two of those are code groups, where redeeming one string locks out the rest), and one China-only code has been redeemable since 2020. Three codes this page listed as active on September 16 — BALLETCOLLAB, DUGODWKRHAKDNJ and YOAL3V36XHS7 — are now reported dead and are in the expired table below. A seventh Primogem code, 6LS3F3LS5K87, was added on October 2 by Sportskeeda and the German site GIGA, neither of which says where it came from; it is unconfirmed, so it is covered under the disagreements below and left out of every count and total.

Last verified: October 2, 2026. Checked against HoYoverse's official Vesna's Patrol Mission notice (which gives that event code's reward and expiry date), HoYoverse's Genshin Impact news feed and HoYoLAB's official notices through October 2 (no new code announced), the Genshin Impact Wiki's Promotional Code tracker (last edited October 1), and code lists updated September 30–October 2 by Pocket Tactics, Sportskeeda, PCGamesN, Game8 and MMO Culture, with Beebom (October 1) and GIGA (October 2) as cross-checks. HoYoverse's news feed backs only the Patrol Mission code, so no single source settles everything; the disagreements are spelled out after the tables.

The six global codes add up to 290 Primogems (30 + 40 + 40 + 60 + 60 + 60), plus 60,000 Mora, 10 Hero's Wit and 15 Adventurer's Experience, if you redeem all six on one account. VesnaOnPatrol is the one on a clock: HoYoverse's event notice says the Patrol Mission redemption code is valid until October 22, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8), which is 15:59 UTC. The other five have no published expiry, and 2BJ64QRZ7RT8 has now been redeemable for two months.

Material-Only Codes

These pay Mora, EXP books, ore, food or talent books, but no Primogems.

A code group is several strings that share one redemption slot. The Genshin Impact Wiki's editing notes describe the pattern: group members usually start with the same four characters, and once you redeem one, the others stop working on that account. The wiki lists the four GS71X strings as one group, and Sportskeeda gives the same one-per-account warning for the three of them it prints. The PLDX strings share a prefix the same way, but that grouping comes from the community rule, not from HoYoverse. DATG5HG1PL89 pays exactly the same bundle as the PLDX group, and none of the sources we checked says whether the two stack, so try both.

Where the Sources Disagree

• 6LS3F3LS5K87. Sportskeeda's October 2 update lists it as active, paying 20 Primogems and 160 Geodes of Replication (a Miliastra Wonderland currency), and GIGA's October 2 update adds it as new. Neither site says where the code came from. It is not in HoYoverse's news feed or HoYoLAB notices, or on the wiki, Pocket Tactics, Game8, PCGamesN, MMO Culture or Beebom. The wiki does log four earlier 2026 codes with exactly that reward, so the shape is plausible, but two same-day listings with no stated origin are not confirmation. It stays out of the tables and the totals until the wiki, HoYoverse or more of the trackers above carry it. Trying it costs nothing; if it works, you are 20 Primogems above the 290.
• BALLETCOLLAB, DUGODWKRHAKDNJ and YOAL3V36XHS7. The wiki's Active Codes table (last edited October 1) still carries all three with no expiry. Pocket Tactics and Game8 have both moved them to their expired lists: DUGODWKRHAKDNJ in both sites' September 12 updates, the other two by their September 29 updates. PCGamesN's October 2 update lists all three as expired too, and Sportskeeda's October 2 and MMO Culture's September 30 lists leave all three out. We have followed the fresher, dated sources and moved them to the expired table. Beebom (October 1) still lists BALLETCOLLAB and YOAL3V36XHS7 as active, though the same page still offers the Version 7.1 livestream codes, which expired September 15. If you have never redeemed those two, one try costs nothing.
• Y1INABQB6DEX. Pocket Tactics, Game8, PCGamesN and MMO Culture list it as active, and Game8 dates it to September 1. The wiki has never carried it, neither in its Active Codes table nor on its history page, and Sportskeeda's and Beebom's lists leave it out. If it fails for you, the other five global codes are worth 230 Primogems.
• OPERACOLLAB's reward. Game8's table (September 30) prints 40 Primogems. The wiki, Pocket Tactics, Sportskeeda, MMO Culture, PCGamesN and Beebom print 30, and a reader comment on Game8's own page reports receiving 30. We list 30.
• EPIC2026's Hero's Wit. The wiki, Pocket Tactics, Game8, Sportskeeda, MMO Culture and PCGamesN print 5. The Timesaver tracker reports that Eurogamer and Notebookcheck print 3; we could not load either page to check. The 40 Primogems and 20,000 Mora are not in dispute.
• The GS71 group. The wiki lists it as active with four strings; Sportskeeda's October 2 list prints three of them and leaves out GS71XOXYLG. Pocket Tactics lists none of the GS71 strings, and Game8 has moved a fifth string, GS71YTAICB (same reward), to expired.
• GENSHINGIFT. Game8, PCGamesN, Beebom and MMO Culture list the old 50-Primogem starter code as active, and Pocket Tactics says it "works periodically." The wiki records that it hit its maximum usage on May 20, 2026. We leave it off the active table and out of the totals.

How to Redeem a Genshin Impact Code

You need Adventure Rank 10 for most codes. A small number of historical exceptions — GENSHINGIFT and codes bundled with Prime Gaming offers — were redeemable from Adventure Rank 1, with Adventure Rank 2 required to actually open the reward in your mailbox. Redeeming Online vs. In-Game

Genshin Impact supports both redemption paths, and they land in the same place — your in-game mailbox.

Online (works from any device):

1. Go to the official Code Redemption page at genshin.hoyoverse.com/gift.
2. Log in with the account you play on.
3. Select your server and enter the code exactly as written — codes are case-sensitive.
4. Confirm. The reward is sent to your in-game mailbox, not applied instantly.

In-game:

1. Open the Paimon Menu.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Redeem Code.
3. Type the code and confirm.

Either way, open your Mailbox afterward and claim the attachment. Mail with unclaimed attachments doesn't sit forever — the mailbox caps at 1,000 entries and starts auto-deleting the oldest claimed or attachment-free mail once you're over that, so claim promptly rather than letting redeemed codes pile up unopened. HoYoverse's notice for the Patrol Mission code adds that its reward mail expires 30 days after you redeem.

Recently Expired Codes

If a code you found is failing, check here before assuming you mistyped it. All eleven of these were listed as live within the last five weeks. Eight have logged expiry dates; the three marked "disputed" were reported dead by Pocket Tactics and Game8 but are still listed as active on the wiki.

Rekviem, Vesna0923 and PrimaDonna are the three codes from the Version 7.1 "A Rekviem for the Underworld" Special Program, broadcast September 12. Together they paid 300 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 5 Hero's Wit and 50,000 Mora, and all three expired on September 15, three days after the broadcast. If a friend just sent you one of those three strings, it's too late; don't burn time retyping it.

Where New Codes Come From

New codes arrive from a handful of recurring sources:

• Special Program livestreams. Each version livestream (roughly every six weeks, one per major or minor update) hands out three codes worth 100 Primogems each on screen. Version 7.1's were Rekviem, Vesna0923 and PrimaDonna. HoYoverse had not announced the Version 7.2 Special Program as of October 2.
• Official web and social events. The code the Genshin Impact Wiki and the trackers list as VesnaOnPatrol is the reward from HoYoverse's "Vesna's Patrol Mission" social event, which runs September 24 to October 4, 2026 (UTC+8). MySnezhnayaCareer came from a HoYoLAB career-test article tied to the Version 7.0 "Everwinter Without Mercy" launch, not a stream.
• Collab and partner codes. BALLETCOLLAB (now reported dead) was tied to a ballet project, and OPERACOLLAB surfaced on September 28 with no HoYoverse news post attached. The wiki's cited source for it is a performance video of Vodyanitsa's "A Winter Night's Aria" posted by singer Daria Terekhova; the Timesaver tracker instead attributes it to an Opera GX promotion. Codes like these typically post on official or partner social accounts rather than in-game.
• Region-specific promotions. The Snezhnaya code above was Southeast Asia-only — most codes are tagged "Global" on the wiki's tracker, but region-locked exceptions do happen.

Why Livestream Codes Expire So Fast

Special Program codes are built to expire quickly by design. Per the wiki's own tracking notes, livestream codes historically expired within 16 hours of the broadcast; since Version 5.3, HoYoverse extends that window, and the observed gap for the three Version 7.1 codes was September 12 to September 15 — about three days. That's still short next to the non-livestream codes active right now: 2BJ64QRZ7RT8 has been redeemable since July 31, and VesnaOnPatrol runs to October 22. If you want the livestream Primogems, redeem them the same day the stream airs; if you're reading a code list a week later, assume they're already gone and check the active table above instead.

Why a Code Might Fail

A handful of reasons cover almost every failed redemption:

• It already expired. Check the expired table above. The eight with logged dates will not work anymore, wherever you found them; the three marked "disputed" are worth one try.
• You already redeemed it on this account. Every code is one-time-per-account. A second attempt either returns an already-in-use error or gets silently accepted with a mailbox notice saying it's already claimed — either way, you won't get a second reward, even if you don't remember claiming it the first time.
• You already used another code from the same group. Redeem GS71XAVWDS and the other three GS71X strings will fail on that account, even though they are still live. The same goes for the three PLDX strings.
• You're under Adventure Rank 10. Nearly every current code enforces this floor. Push a bit further into the story or world exploration and retry.
• Typos. Codes are case-sensitive strings of letters and numbers — 0 vs. O and stray trailing spaces from a copy-paste are the most common culprits.
• Wrong server. A code tagged for one server (like the Southeast Asia-only Snezhnaya code above) will not redeem on a different one, even with an otherwise valid, unexpired code.

What to Spend Free Primogems On

Code Primogems are small individually — the six active global codes add up to 290, one 160-Primogem wish with 130 left over and nowhere near a guaranteed pull on their own — but they stack with your other income into the same pool everything else draws from. • VesnaOnPatrol is the one with a published deadline: October 22, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8).
• Optionally try 6LS3F3LS5K87 (20 Primogems, 160 Geodes of Replication) — Sportskeeda and GIGA list it, but the wiki and HoYoverse do not yet, so it is not in the 290.
• For materials, redeem one GS71X string, one PLDX string, DATG5HG1PL89 and PNKZ3WLNN8G6.
• China-server accounts can also redeem YuanShen, live since November 2020.
• You need Adventure Rank 10 for essentially all of these.
• Redeem online at genshin.hoyoverse.com/gift or in-game via Settings → Account → Redeem Code, then claim the attachment from your Mailbox.
• Don't bother with Rekviem, Vesna0923, PrimaDonna, MySnezhnayaCareer, Snezhnaya, LEGEDILJKSGM, GS70XRNWFB or XVIZDH2B9WGX — all eight expired between September 1 and September 15, 2026. BALLETCOLLAB, YOAL3V36XHS7 and DUGODWKRHAKDNJ are reported dead too, though the wiki still lists them.
• Special Program livestream codes historically die within days of the broadcast — redeem them same-day if you catch a future stream live.
