Genshin Snezhnaya Farming Guide — Domains, Days, Drops
Version 7.0 dropped three permanent domains, two normal bosses, four enemy drop families and two local specialties into Snezhnaya — and locked the whole nation behind a single Archon Quest. Here is what each source pays, which day it pays it, and who on your account is actually waiting for it.

Three New Domains, and a Quest in Front of All of Them
Version 7.0, "Everwinter Without Mercy," went live on 12 August 2026 and opened Snezhnaya, the seventh nation. It also turned the camera around: inside the Shadow Realm, Genshin becomes a third-person shooter, which we broke down separately.
Underneath the novelty, 7.0 did what a new region does: it added a fresh set of things to farm. Three permanent domains, two normal bosses, four enemy drop families, two local specialties, three talent book series and three weapon material series. Most of them are new places for your Original Resin to go, and none of them is reachable until a specific Archon Quest is finished.
This is the map of that. What each source pays, which day it pays it, and — the part that actually decides your week — how many characters on the current roster are waiting for it.
The Region Gate Comes First
Snezhnaya does not open the way Natlan or Fontaine did. Finishing "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" unlocks access to the region, but only a small slice of Volkodlak Tundra comes with it. A slightly larger area around Sretomorozsk opens once you start "Gunfire in the Silent Lands," and the entire nation becomes accessible only when that quest is complete. Push past the boundary early and the cold takes you.
So the farming answer for an account that has not touched Chapter VII is: none of this is available yet. Finish "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" first. That single quest is the gate on the domains, the bosses, the specialties and the enemy camps alike.
Relics of the Fallen Grace Is the Eighth Domain of Mastery
Snezhnaya's talent book domain sits in Fellfrost Peak. It is the eighth Domain of Mastery in the game, joining Forsaken Rift, Taishan Mansion, Violet Court, Steeple of Ignorance, Pale Forgotten Glory, Blazing Ruins and Lightless Capital — one per region, and Snezhnaya now has its own.

It costs 20 Original Resin a run, same as every other Domain of Mastery, and it has four difficulty tiers:
| Tier | Adventure Rank | Recommended level |
|---|---|---|
| I | 25 | 37 |
| II | 28 | 53 |
| III | 36 | 70 |
| IV | 45 | 87 |
The Ley Line Disorder runs across all four tiers and it is not decorative: when a character triggers Superconduct or Stellar-Conduct, or deals Stellar-Conduct DMG, a shockwave fires at the target's location for Electro DMG. On tiers III and IV that shockwave is stronger still. A Cryo-plus-Electro team is not just thematically correct here, it is the intended clear.
Three book series rotate through the week on the usual two-day pattern, with Sunday as the catch-all:
| Book series | Days | Tiers |
|---|---|---|
| Charity | Monday, Thursday, Sunday | Teachings, Guide, Philosophies |
| Fortitude | Tuesday, Friday, Sunday | Teachings, Guide, Philosophies |
| Glory | Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday | Teachings, Guide, Philosophies |
Who Actually Needs These Books
This is where the schedule gets lopsided, and it is worth knowing before you plan a farming week around it. Counting the characters the wiki lists against each Philosophies tier:
| Book series | Characters who use it |
|---|---|
| Charity | Odette, Traveler (Cryo) |
| Fortitude | Alyosha, Traveler (Cryo) |
| Glory | Traveler (Cryo) |
Glory has exactly one user right now, and it is the Traveler. Unless you are levelling Traveler (Cryo) — who draws on all three Snezhnayan series, the way the Traveler's talent books follow whichever region their current element belongs to — Wednesday and Saturday are dead days in this domain, and your resin is better spent on artifacts or an older book domain. That will change as Snezhnaya's roster fills out, but today it is a one-character series.
Books still craft upward three-to-one, so a Monday overshoot on Teachings of Charity is never wasted. For the full talent cost curve behind these numbers — what one talent from 1 to 10 actually eats — see our talent and ascension material guide.
Scars of Cursed Obsession Feeds Seven Weapons
The weapon material domain is in Everfrozen Earth, costs 20 Original Resin, and is the friendliest gate in the region: tier I opens at Adventure Rank 15.

| Tier | Adventure Rank | Recommended level |
|---|---|---|
| I | 15 | 15 |
| II | 21 | 36 |
| III | 30 | 59 |
| IV | 40 | 80 |
Its Ley Line Disorder increases Swirl DMG triggered by characters by 200%, and Stellar Swirl DMG by 60%, across all four tiers. Bring an Anemo carrier and the domain mostly clears itself.
Three material series, same weekday pattern:
| Material series | Days | Tiers, low to high |
|---|---|---|
| Pale Star Army | Monday, Thursday, Sunday | Rise, Muster, Clarion, Triumph |
| Cellared Spiritual Nectar | Tuesday, Friday, Sunday | Measured Pour, Intoxication, Exhilaration, Revelry |
| The Frost Emperor | Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday | Revival, Ceremony, Lament, Farewell |
Seven weapons currently ascend on these three series, and they are distributed as unevenly as the books:
| Material series | Weapons that use it |
|---|---|
| Pale Star Army | Blade of Atonement, Covenant of Frost and Snow, Echoes of the Heart, Emberwell |
| Cellared Spiritual Nectar | Whitelake Frostfeather, Frostbreath |
| The Frost Emperor | Song of the Vigil |
Whitelake Frostfeather is the 7.0 five-star sword, and it ascends on Tuesday and Friday. Note that the four Pale Star Army weapons are all forgeable four-stars — if you crafted the Snezhnayan blueprints, Monday and Thursday is where you finish them.
Inverted Glacier and the Two New Artifact Sets
The new Domain of Blessing sits in Everfrozen Earth, costs 20 Original Resin or 1 Condensed Resin, and gates at Adventure Rank 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 across its four tiers, with recommended levels of 59, 69, 80 and 89.

Its Ley Line Disorder is the most generous in the region: after a character triggers a Cryo-related reaction, every party member gains 250 Elemental Mastery for 10 seconds. That is an enormous number for a domain buff, and it means any team that can put a Cryo reaction on the board keeps it up. The domain's recommended elements are Cryo, Electro and Anemo.
The domain holds four sets, two of them brand new:
| Artifact set | 2-piece bonus | 4-piece bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Scarlet Proof | ATK +18% | For 10s after triggering a Stellar Swirl reaction: +16% CRIT Rate and +40% Stellar Swirl reaction DMG |
| Heart of the Furnace | ATK +18% | On triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction or dealing Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG: +12% ATK for 12s, plus +50% Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG for all nearby party members. Works off-field; identical sets do not stack |
| The Exile | Energy Recharge +20% | Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all party members except the wearer, every 2s for 6s. Does not stack |
| Brave Heart | ATK +18% | +30% DMG against opponents above 50% HP |
Two things fall out of that table. Both new sets share the same 18% ATK two-piece, so a two-piece from either one is interchangeable filler, and which of them a stray Sands rolled out of does not matter until you are chasing a four-piece.
And Heart of the Furnace is the off-field one. Its four-piece explicitly triggers while the equipping character is off the field and buffs the whole party's Stellar Glimmer damage by 50%, which makes it a support set rather than a carry set. Scarlet Proof is the opposite: CRIT Rate and Stellar Swirl damage on the wearer only. If the Stellar Glimmer and Lunar reaction family is new to you, that post is the prerequisite reading for both sets.
Two New Bosses, and Neither Drops a Cryo Gem
Snezhnaya added two normal bosses. Each Trounce Blossom claim costs 40 Original Resin, and the exclusive drop starts at boss level 30.

| Boss | Archive title | Where | Exclusive drop | Gems it pays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Immortal Construct | The Remnant Body of the Eternal Flamefeather | Everfrozen Earth | Unscorched Blossom Branch | Agnidus Agate |
| Chimeric Winged Lion | Solo Accompanist | Volkodlak Tundra | Severed Tail of the Sky-Roamer | Vayuda Turquoise, Vajrada Amethyst |
Read that last column twice. Snezhnaya is the Cryo nation, its flagship five-star is a Cryo sword user, and neither of its two bosses drops Shivada Jade. The Immortal Construct pays Pyro gems; the Chimeric Winged Lion pays Anemo and Electro gems. Odette's 1 Sliver, 9 Fragments, 9 Chunks and 6 Gemstones of Shivada Jade all have to come from bosses in other regions, so do not plan a Snezhnaya-only farming loop and expect it to finish her.
One more thing about that 40 resin: Condensed Resin does not work on Trounce Blossoms, for normal bosses or weekly bosses. Both of these fights are full-price, every time.
Both fights also have a resistance gimmick worth knowing, and it is the same shape twice. The Immortal Construct sits at 210% resistance globally and 250% to Pyro during its opening, then flips to -40% globally and 0% Pyro once it is Staggered. The Chimeric Winged Lion opens at 210% global, 250% Anemo and Electro, then drops to -60% globally when Paralyzed. Base Pyro resistance on the Construct and base Anemo and Electro resistance on the Lion both sit at 50%, so neither is a good target for its own element even outside those states. Damage dumped into the opening is damage thrown away — wait for the break.
Two Local Specialties in Two Different Corners
| Local specialty | Where it grows | Whose ascension needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Frostfairy Flower | Snezhnograd, the Sanctuary of Grief, Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge | Odette |
| Flockingweed | Fellfrost Peak | Alyosha |

A full ascension takes 168 of one specialty, which is the standard figure and is why one pass around the map does not finish the job. Both plants can be grown in the Serenitea Pot instead: plant a seed in a Luxuriant Glebe and it matures in 2 days and 22 hours for a yield of 1. That is slow, but it is free, it stacks with your overworld route, and it is the argument for finally levelling the Serenitea Pot if you have been ignoring it.
Four New Enemy Drop Families
Two of the new families are common-enemy drops and two are elite drops, which matters because the rarity ladders differ. Common families run 1-star to 3-star; elite families run 2-star to 4-star.
| Family | Type | Base tier | Mid tier (Lv. 40+) | Top tier (Lv. 60+) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Snowland Fae | Common | Ethereal Glimmershard | Ethereal Crystal | Ethereal Crystalscale Stone |
| Aberrant Chimeric Monsters | Common | Chimeric Core | Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus | Prime Chimeric Nexus |
| Wildwood Leshy | Elite | Hollow Root of Life | Sprout Node of Life | Coiled Core of Life |
| Volkodlak Brute | Elite | Accreted Fragment | Accreted Mass | Accreted Growth |
The level thresholds are the practical part. A Snowland Fae below level 40 will never hand you an Ethereal Crystal no matter how many you kill, and the top tier needs level 60. If your world level puts the local camps under those thresholds, you are farming the wrong copy of the enemy — go to a higher-level camp rather than grinding the convenient one.
What One Snezhnaya Character Actually Costs
Here are the two 7.0 characters, fully ascended and with all three talents taken to 10. These are the totals, not the per-step costs.
| Requirement | Odette (5★ Cryo sword) | Alyosha (4★ Electro polearm) |
|---|---|---|
| Ascension Mora | 420,000 | 420,000 |
| Talent Mora (3 talents to 10) | 4,957,500 | 4,957,500 |
| Boss drop | 46 Unscorched Blossom Branch | 46 Severed Tail of the Sky-Roamer |
| Gems | 1 / 9 / 9 / 6 Shivada Jade | 1 / 9 / 9 / 6 Vajrada Amethyst |
| Local specialty | 168 Frostfairy Flower | 168 Flockingweed |
| Common drops (ascension) | 18 / 30 / 36 Ethereal | 18 / 30 / 36 Chimeric |
| Common drops (talents) | 18 / 66 / 93 Ethereal | 18 / 66 / 93 Chimeric |
| Talent books | 9 / 63 / 114 Charity | 9 / 63 / 114 Fortitude |
| Weekly boss drops | 18 Twisted Withered Branch | 18 Elixir of the Heretic |
| Crowns of Insight | 3 | 3 |
Add the two Mora rows and one finished character costs 5,377,500 Mora in ascension and talents alone, before a single point of the Mora you burn feeding them Hero's Wit. The four-star costs exactly as much as the five-star: the ascension counts and the talent curves are identical line for line.
Add the common drop rows too and the real Ethereal bill for Odette is 36 base, 96 mid and 129 top-tier — which is a lot of Snowland Fae, and the reason the enemy-level thresholds above are worth respecting.
The Weekly Boss Materials Send You South
Neither Snezhnayan character takes a Snezhnayan weekly boss, because Snezhnaya does not have one. Odette's Twisted Withered Branch comes from Il Dottore — archived as the Exalted Master of the Heretical Path — in the Binding Field of Universal Nirvana in Sumeru. Alyosha's Elixir of the Heretic comes from The Doctor — archived as the Heretic of the False Moon — in the False Moon Institute in Nod-Krai. Eighteen drops each, three discounted claims a week, one material in three per claim. Our weekly boss guide has the full drop map and the boss-level thresholds that decide whether a claim pays talent materials at all.
Meeting Points Replaced the Reputation Board
Snezhnaya has no Reputation NPC standing behind a desk. Like Nod-Krai before it, the region routes its Reputation progression through Meeting Points, unlocked by various quests inside "Everwinter Without Mercy." There are three: the Korolevskiy Theater, Huntsman's Cabin and Tidesong Cavern.
Two gates, not one. The system opens once "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" is done, and then each individual Meeting Point needs the World Quest at its own location on top of that — Tidesong Cavern wants "Like a Land Where the Tide's Song Whispers," Huntsman's Cabin wants "Hunter on the Snowfields." After that you raise a Meeting Point's Construction Level by handing over 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 Cryo Sigils and hitting 10, 30, 50, 70 and 90 percent exploration in its area.
Raising any Meeting Point to Level 1 hands you the Cryo Treasure Compass, and each Meeting Point extends the compass's coverage to its own area. The compass then levels with them:
| Compass level | Meeting Point level | What it finds |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | The current area's treasure and relevant clues |
| 2 | 3 | Oculi, and up to 10 treasures and clues at once |
| 3 | 5 | All Oculi, plus most treasures and clues in the current area |
Compass Level 2 also marks Shadow Wingdrops, which is the currency for the Shadow Realm Analyzer's stamina upgrades. If you are chasing those, the Meeting Points are the shortest path to finding them.
A Week That Covers Everything
Only two of Snezhnaya's three domains are weekday-gated, and those two share a rotation: Relics of the Fallen Grace and Scars of Cursed Obsession both run their first series Monday and Thursday, their second Tuesday and Friday, their third Wednesday and Saturday, and all three on Sunday. Inverted Glacier is a Domain of Blessing and has no weekday rotation at all — all four of its sets are on the table every day. The trap is in the shared rotation: two of those weekday slots carry most of the users and the third carries almost none. A workable shape:
- Monday and Thursday — Charity books for Odette, Pale Star Army for the four forgeable weapons. The busiest day of the three.
- Tuesday and Friday — Fortitude books for Alyosha, Cellared Spiritual Nectar for Whitelake Frostfeather.
- Wednesday and Saturday — Glory books and The Frost Emperor materials. One character and one weapon between them. Spend the resin on Inverted Glacier instead unless you are building Traveler (Cryo).
- Sunday — every series is available. This is the day to top up whichever tier you are short on.
- Any day — Inverted Glacier, which is not weekday-gated, the two bosses at 40 resin, and the specialty routes, which cost no resin at all.
Condensed Resin works on the Petrified Trees inside all three domains — three sets of rewards from one item — but it does not work on the two bosses, because Trounce Blossoms refuse it. So the domains are where a Sunday catch-up run pays off and the bosses are not. The resin arithmetic behind that is in our resin management guide.

Quick Action Checklist
- Nothing in Snezhnaya is farmable until "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" is complete — that quest unlocks the entire nation.
- Relics of the Fallen Grace, in Fellfrost Peak, is the eighth Domain of Mastery. 20 Original Resin, tiers at Adventure Rank 25 / 28 / 36 / 45.
- Charity books drop Monday, Thursday and Sunday; Fortitude Tuesday, Friday and Sunday; Glory Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Glory currently serves one character, Traveler (Cryo). Charity serves Odette and the Traveler; Fortitude serves Alyosha and the Traveler.
- Scars of Cursed Obsession, in Everfrozen Earth, opens at Adventure Rank 15 and feeds seven weapons: four on Pale Star Army, two on Cellared Spiritual Nectar, one on The Frost Emperor.
- Inverted Glacier holds Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace alongside The Exile and Brave Heart. Both new sets share an 18% ATK two-piece, and unlike the other two domains it is not weekday-gated.
- Heart of the Furnace works off-field and buffs the party's Stellar Glimmer damage by 50%. Scarlet Proof buffs only the wearer.
- Inverted Glacier's Ley Line Disorder gives the whole party 250 Elemental Mastery for 10s after any Cryo-related reaction.
- The Immortal Construct in Everfrozen Earth drops Unscorched Blossom Branch and Agnidus Agate. The Chimeric Winged Lion in Volkodlak Tundra drops Severed Tail of the Sky-Roamer, Vayuda Turquoise and Vajrada Amethyst. Neither pays Shivada Jade.
- Both bosses open with roughly 210% inflated resistance and lose it when Staggered or Paralyzed. Do not burn a burst on the opening.
- Frostfairy Flower grows in Snezhnograd, the Sanctuary of Grief and Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge; Flockingweed grows in Fellfrost Peak. A full ascension needs 168 of one.
- Both can be gardened in a Luxuriant Glebe: 1 seed, 2 days 22 hours, yield 1.
- Common drop families need enemies at level 40+ for the mid tier and level 60+ for the top tier. Elite families follow the same thresholds one rarity higher.
- One fully built Snezhnayan character costs 5,377,500 Mora across ascension and three maxed talents, plus 3 Crowns of Insight — identical for the four-star and the five-star.
- Snezhnaya has no weekly boss of its own. Odette needs Il Dottore in Sumeru; Alyosha needs The Doctor.
- Raising any Meeting Point to Level 1 grants the Cryo Treasure Compass; at compass Level 2 it also marks Shadow Wingdrops.
- Condensed Resin works on the domains but not on either boss — Trounce Blossoms do not accept it.
