NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championships: Two Cards, No Results

Update, 1 November 2026: Cicaboom's second Store Championship season opened on 30 October and is running now, through 15 November 2026, at selected partner stores across Europe, with new prize cards. The details are in the season-two section below. The rest of this piece is the record of season one, which ran in June and July, corrected where our 25 September version was wrong about the Tournament Rules.

When this piece first ran on 25 September, both of our earlier NARUTO Mythos TCG pieces mentioned Store Championships and neither explained one. Our 16 September explainer lists "Store Championships + 2 Regionals held in 2026" as a single cell in a comparison table, and its FAQ says the game "runs organized play, including Store Championships and Regional Championships" — two name-drops, zero detail. Our 21 September piece on the distribution shake-up does not mention the term at all.

Cicaboom, to its credit, published the detail itself. It just did so on 19 June 2026, months before either of our posts existed, and nobody on this vertical went back to read it. Here is what a NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championship is, what Cicaboom has published about each season, and what happened to season one's results — which, going by Cicaboom's news feed, is nothing.

What a Store Championship actually is

Cicaboom's announcement page, titled "NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championships: The Official Locations Are Here!", opens with this framing: "The competitive scene of NARUTO Mythos TCG is reaching a new milestone with the arrival of the very first Store Championships across Europe! These special tournaments will give players the opportunity to compete for exclusive rewards available only during this inaugural season."

So a Store Championship sits one rung below a Regional Championship on Cicaboom's own organized-play ladder: run at an individual partner store rather than a convention hall, entered by registering on the store's TopDeck event page (the Orlando Regional also used TopDeck, while the Paris and Münster pages send players to the official event site), and built around store-specific rewards rather than the Gold Card that headlines the Paris and Orlando events we covered separately. Our 16 September piece covered this tier only through the store requirements it gave for Cicaboom's Organized Play Program, without ever naming what running one actually looked like in practice.

Season two: 30 October to 15 November 2026

Cicaboom's Store Championship hub page, narutotcgmythos.com/store-championship, no longer describes season one. Read on 25 October and still the same on 1 November, it says: "The official locations are out. Find your store and join the new competitive season, from 30 October to 15 November 2026." Cicaboom's Events page lists the same window, "OCT 30 - NOV 15, 2026", with "Across Europe" as the location and "Selected partner stores" as the venue. The season is in progress as of 1 November. It opened on Friday 30 October and runs 17 days, closing on Sunday 15 November.

The prizes are new, and the hub page lists three of them:

The card names come from the hub page's image descriptions and the Events page. The numbers and the stamp are printed on the card images themselves. The two are a DUEL pair: Naruto's DUEL line names Kiba Inuzuka, and Kiba's names Naruto Uzumaki. Unlike season one, the hub page names no separate winner card. The champion's listed extra is the playmat.

Registration works the way it did in season one: "Find the store nearest to you, then register directly with your TopDeck account on the event page." The hub page's map shows where. Neither the hub page nor the Events page says how many stores take part or which countries, beyond "Across Europe". Cicaboom has not published a news article about season two either. As of 1 November, season two appears on the hub page and the Events page, and we found no news article about it.

Season one: 27 June to 12 July 2026

Season one ended on 12 July 2026. Cicaboom's announcement states: "Events will take place from June 27 to July 12, 2026, in selected partner stores across Europe." Its past-events entry on the Events page gives the same dates, "JUN 27 - JUL 12, 2026". The announcement also says "The number of Store Championships will be very limited during this first season." It does not give the number.

For a while, a third Cicaboom page disagreed. When we checked on 25 September, the hub page described the same season with a different start date: "The official locations are out. Find your store and join the first competitive season, from 26 June to 12 July 2026." By 23 October that line was gone, replaced by the season-two copy quoted above, with no note about the old date.

So for at least part of its life, season one had two official start dates a day apart, on two of Cicaboom's own pages, for a window of only 16 or 17 days. The announcement has been edited since our first read. Its metadata now shows a last modification on 28 September 2026, and it still says 27 June. The announcement in all four of its languages (English, Italian, French and Spanish) and the Events page now agree on 27 June.

The two cards season one gave out

The hub page has moved on, so season one's prizes are now listed on the original announcement and the Events page's past-events entry. The announcement lists them as "Exclusive participation card: NARUTO Uzumaki - Shadow Clone Jutsu" and "Exclusive winner card: Sasuke Uchiha - Chidori". Every participant got the Naruto card. The champion of each store event also got the Sasuke card and an exclusive playmat.

Neither card is a Gold Card. Cicaboom's Paris and Orlando Regional pages both say "The champion wins an exclusive Gold Card in English". A Store Championship champion's listed extras were an exclusive card and a playmat in season one, and are a playmat in season two. Neither Store Championship page lists a Gold Card among its prizes.

The format is in the Tournament Rules, not the event pages

Both of Cicaboom's Regional Championship pages state their format outright. Paris ran "30-minute BO1 Swiss rounds first, then a BO3 Top Cut". Orlando ran "Best-of-1 Swiss rounds, up to nine", and "The top 16 advance to a Best-of-3 single elimination Top Cut." Neither Store Championship page states a format: no Swiss round count, no best-of structure, no deck legality line, no entry fee.

The first version of this piece stopped there and said Cicaboom's Tournament Rules did not fill the gap. That was wrong. The Tournament Rules have their own Store Championships section. In the version in effect from 23 October 2026, section 4.5.2 says:

• "The event must be run in Swiss + Single Elimination."
• "Swiss Rounds must be Best-of-1. We recommend a 30 minutes time limit."
• "Top Cut can be Best-of-1 or Best-of-3, up to the choice of the Tournament Organizer."

The same document says "Players are required to use Sleeves for Store Championships and above". For competitive events, Store Championships included, it bars "The owner or employees of the store location where the event takes place" from playing. The 7 September version, which Cicaboom still hosts, has the same Store Championships rules on Swiss rounds, Top Cut and sleeves. The 23 October version adds one sentence to the section, on the organizer explaining the structure, and its changelog does not list that change. The 23 October version is the one in effect going into season two. We have not seen the rules as they stood in June and July, so we cannot say whether season one ran under the same section.

Within those rules a store still picks whether its Top Cut is best-of-1 or best-of-3, and section 4.5.2 makes it "the Organizer's duty to explain the tournament structure before the event starts". Two Store Championships can legitimately run differently, and neither Store Championship page says how any individual event was set up.

Finding a store: a live map, not a list

The hub page embeds an interactive map, "Find the Store Championship nearest to you on the map." It runs on a third-party widget, Storepoint, which loads its data live rather than baking a country or city list into the page. The original announcement, in its current form, says you can "download the full list of participating stores, with city, address, and date for each event". Its "Discover the locations" button links to the hub page, not to a file.

That is a practical difference from how Cicaboom publishes its distribution roster. Its Find a distributor page sets out territories and partners as plain text we could transcribe and total. Store Championship locations exist only as whatever the map returns when someone looks, and neither Store Championship page states a store count, a country count, or which European countries are included beyond the word "Europe".

No results, same as the Regionals

Our 21 September piece spent a full section on the fact that Cicaboom had not published who won its first Regional Championship, eight days after it concluded in Paris. The Store Championship season sets the same pattern, at greater distance. We read Cicaboom's news index on 25 September and its news feed again on 25 October. No article reports a result, a champion list or a wrap-up for the season that ended on 12 July. The newest article is the 19 October Münster Regional announcement, and the season-one announcement is still the only news article about Store Championships.

We are not reading a policy into that gap. Results may exist somewhere the news feed does not surface, such as individual stores' TopDeck event pages, which we did not check. A store-level program may also never have been meant to get a central results post the way a flagship Regional would. What we can say is that Cicaboom's news feed has no results post for season one, for Paris or for Orlando. Orlando's standings are public elsewhere: TopDeck's page for that event has them, and our Orlando results piece is built from it.

Store Championships next to the two Regionals

Read across that table and the Store Championship is the thinnest-documented of the three: no format on its event page, no location list, and no results, though the Regionals have no results post either. It is also the one tier in the table run at individual stores rather than a single flagship venue, even though Cicaboom's announcement said the number of season-one events would be "very limited".

What this does and does not tell you

What Cicaboom's own pages establish:

• A second Store Championship season is running from 30 October to 15 November 2026 at selected partner stores across Europe, per the hub page and the Events page. Every participant gets a STORE CHAMPIONSHIP-stamped Naruto Uzumaki, Chunin Exams (121/140 A). Each event's Top 4 gets a stamped Kiba Inuzuka, Chunin Exams (120/140 A), and each champion gets an exclusive playmat.
• Season one ran at selected partner stores across Europe from 27 June to 12 July 2026, the dates on both the announcement and the Events page. When we checked on 25 September, the hub page gave 26 June instead. That text has since been replaced by season two.
• Every season-one participant received an exclusive Naruto Uzumaki - Shadow Clone Jutsu card, and each event's champion also received an exclusive Sasuke Uchiha - Chidori card and a playmat.
• Store Championships have their own section in Cicaboom's Tournament Rules (4.5.2 in the version in effect from 23 October 2026): best-of-1 Swiss, then a single-elimination Top Cut in best-of-1 or best-of-3 at the organizer's choice, with sleeves required.
• Locations are published only through the live map on the hub page. The announcement's promised downloadable list links back to that page.

What it does not establish:

• Who won any season-one Store Championship, or how many were held. The announcement says only that the number "will be very limited during this first season", and Cicaboom's news feed carries no results post, the same as for the Paris and Orlando Regionals.
• How many stores host season two, or in which countries. The Events page says "Across Europe" and "Selected partner stores", and nothing more.
• Whether season one ran under the same Store Championships section of the Tournament Rules. The earliest version we have read is the 7 September one, which came out after season one ended.
