NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championships: Two Cards, No Results

Both of our existing NARUTO Mythos TCG pieces mention Store Championships. Neither explains one. Our 16 September explainer lists "Store Championships + 2 Regionals held in 2026" as a single cell in a comparison table, and its FAQ says the game "runs organized play, including Store Championships and Regional Championships" — two name-drops, zero detail. Our 21 September piece on the distribution shake-up does not mention the term at all.

Cicaboom, to its credit, published the detail itself. It just did so on 19 June 2026, months before either of our posts existed, and nobody on this vertical went back to read it. Here is what a NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championship actually was, what its own announcement does and does not say, and what happened to the results — which, going by Cicaboom's news feed, is nothing.

What a Store Championship actually is

Cicaboom's announcement page, titled "NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championships: The Official Locations Are Here!", opens with this framing: "The competitive scene of NARUTO Mythos TCG is reaching a new milestone with the arrival of the very first Store Championships across Europe! These special tournaments will give players the opportunity to compete for exclusive rewards available only during this inaugural season."

So a Store Championship sits one rung below a Regional Championship on Cicaboom's own organized-play ladder: run at an individual certified game store rather than a rented convention hall, entered through the same TopDeck.gg platform Cicaboom uses for its Regionals, and built around store-specific rewards rather than the Gold Card that headlines the Paris and Orlando events we covered separately. It is the tier our 16 September piece described only through Cicaboom's baseline hosting requirements — a physical store open at least four days a week, six hours a day, with room for eight players — without ever naming what running one actually looked like in practice.

The season already happened, on two different dates

Here is the part that would matter to anyone trying to plan around this today: the season is already over, and has been for more than two months. Cicaboom's own announcement states plainly: "Events will take place from June 27 to July 12, 2026, in selected partner stores across Europe."

Except Cicaboom's own permanent Store Championship hub page — narutotcgmythos.com/store-championship, a separate, undated page that stayed live after the season closed — describes the same season with a different start date: "The official locations are out. Find your store and join the first competitive season, from 26 June to 12 July 2026."

27 June on the announcement post. 26 June on the hub page. Both are Cicaboom's own official copy, both describe the identical five-and-a-half-week window, and the two disagree on the day it began. The announcement post's own metadata shows it was last modified on 25 August 2026 — six weeks after the season it describes had already ended — and that edit did not touch the date. Neither page has any note explaining the discrepancy, and we are not going to guess which one is the typo.

The two cards you could only win there

This is the detail Cicaboom's own hub page drops and only the original announcement carries. In Cicaboom's own words, transcribed exactly, typo included: "Exclusive participation card: Naruto Uzumaki - Shadow Colone Justsu" and "Exclusive winner card: Sasuke Uchiha - Chidori." Every participant at a Store Championship got the Naruto card; the champion of each individual store event additionally got the Sasuke card and an exclusive playmat.

The typo is worth flagging precisely because it is inconsistent even on Cicaboom's own site: the body copy reads "Shadow Colone Justsu," but the alt text baked into that same card's own image file reads "Shadow Clone Jutsu" — spelled correctly. Whoever wrote the announcement's prose and whoever wrote the image's alt attribute were not proofreading against each other.

Neither card is a Gold Card. Both Regional Championships we have covered separately hand their champion one of Cicaboom's individually numbered, certified 22-karat gold cards; the Store Championship's own top prize is an ordinary exclusive card plus a playmat. That is a real, stated difference in what winning actually gets you, not an oversight on our part — Cicaboom's own copy never uses the word "gold" anywhere on either Store Championship page.

What the announcement does not say

Both of Cicaboom's Regional Championship pages state their format outright: Paris ran "Best-of-1 Swiss (Sat–Sun), then Best-of-3 Top Cut"; Orlando runs "Best-of-1 Swiss up to 9 rounds, top 16 to Best-of-3." Neither Store Championship page states a format at all — no Swiss round count, no best-of structure, no stated deck legality, no entry fee. Cicaboom's separate Tournament Rules and Tournament Infraction Guidelines documents, the only other organized-play documents the site publishes, describe judging and infraction procedure in general terms and do not distinguish a Store Championship's structure from a Regional's either.

So a store running one of these events set its own bracket shape, on whatever schedule the venue's four-day, six-hour-a-day baseline allowed, using rules Cicaboom never spelled out beyond "compete for exclusive rewards." That is consistent with a program run at genuinely local scale rather than a centrally managed one — but it also means anyone trying to reconstruct what a specific Store Championship actually played like has nothing published to check it against.

Finding a store meant a live map, not a list

Unlike Cicaboom's distributor page, which we broke down as a static table of sixteen named companies, the Store Championship locations were never published as a list at all. Both the announcement and the hub page point to the same interactive tool: "Find the Store Championship nearest to you on the map." That map runs on a third-party widget, Storepoint, loading its data live rather than baking a country or city list into the page itself.

That is a real practical difference from how Cicaboom publishes almost everything else in this vertical. Every other roster we have covered — the sixteen NARUTO CARD GAME distributors, the eleven official distribution territories, the BCG Fest stops — exists as static text we could transcribe and total. The Store Championship locations exist only as whatever that map returned at the time someone looked, and neither of Cicaboom's own pages states a store count, a country count, or even confirms which specific European countries were included beyond the word "Europe" itself.

No results, same as the Regionals

Our 21 September piece spent a full section on the fact that Cicaboom had not published who won its first Regional Championship, five days after it concluded in Paris. The Store Championship season sets exactly the same pattern, at greater distance: we checked Cicaboom's full news index, twelve articles running from 16 October 2025 through 21 September 2026, and not one of them reports a result, a champion list, or even a wrap-up for the Store Championship season that ended on 12 July. The announcement that opened the season is the only page Cicaboom has published about it.

We are not reading a policy into that gap — it is possible results exist somewhere the twelve-item news feed does not surface, or that a store-level program was never going to get a central results post the way a flagship Regional would. What we can say is that this is now the second organized-play program in this vertical where Cicaboom announced the event in detail and never followed up with what happened at it.

Store Championships next to the two Regionals

Read across that table and the Store Championship is the thinnest-documented tier of the three, on every axis except one: it is the only one of the three explicitly run at the scale of "your local store" rather than a single flagship venue, which is presumably the entire point of running it that way.

What this does and does not tell you

What Cicaboom's own pages establish:

• A NARUTO Mythos TCG Store Championship season ran across certified partner stores in Europe, described by Cicaboom's announcement as 27 June to 12 July 2026 and by its own permanent hub page as 26 June to 12 July 2026 — the same season, two different start dates, both still live on Cicaboom's site as of this post.
• Every participant received an exclusive Naruto Uzumaki promo card (named "Shadow Colone Justsu" in the announcement's body text and "Shadow Clone Jutsu" in that same card's own image alt text), and the champion of each individual event additionally received an exclusive Sasuke Uchiha promo card and a playmat.
• Locations were never published as a static list — both pages point to a live third-party map — and no store count or specific country breakdown beyond "Europe" has been published anywhere we found.

What it does not establish:

• Any tournament format, deck legality rule, or entry requirement specific to a Store Championship. Cicaboom's general Tournament Rules and Infraction Guidelines documents do not fill the gap.
• Which start date is correct, or whether either page has been corrected since. The announcement's own "last modified" timestamp is six weeks after the season ended, and it did not touch the date discrepancy.
• Who won at any Store Championship, or how many were held. Cicaboom's full news index carries no results post for the season, the same pattern we already found with the Paris Regional.
• Whether a second Store Championship season is planned, in Europe or the new territories Cicaboom named in its 21 September distribution update. Nothing published addresses it either way.
