Riftbound Radiance Legends Revealed, by Domain Pair

Eight of Radiance's nine Legend cards have now been shown, through Riot's Card Gallery, an IGN exclusive and Riot's own reveals video, and the empty ninth slot has a Riven Signature card sitting right after it. None of them is on a rival pair. Here is each Legend's domains and text, and what Radiance does to the Legend grid.

Published October 2, 2026·13 min read·By Mythras
Three Riftbound Radiance Showcase Legend cards side by side on a dark navy background: Starry-Eyed Songstress (RAD 174/167), Seraphine with long pink hair singing into a golden microphone; Hexplosives Expert (RAD 169/167), a grinning Ziggs in goggles holding a glowing white bomb; and Pride of Nazumah (RAD 172/167), K'Sante half in shadow between two stone hammers, each card showing its two domain symbols in the top-left corner.

When Riot's Radiance Overview went up on 25 September, several of Radiance's nine Legend cards were still unseen. Riot had printed Ekko's in its August set lineup, and the Overview added Orianna, Lady of Clockwork, tucked into its section on Equipment Units. By 2 October, eight of the set's nine Legend cards are public, and the ninth slot has its Signature card sitting right after it in the numbering.

That answers the question our domains guide left open in August: would Radiance put a second Legend on any of the three rival pairs Vendetta opened? Eight cards in, no, and the ninth almost certainly does not either. What Radiance does instead is quieter and more useful if you are choosing a pairing. Six of its nine Legends land on the six non-rival pairings Vendetta skipped, so once Riven's is counted, no non-rival row of the Legend grid is left at three.

This is a dated snapshot of a preview season that is still running. Riot's Key Dates put previews at 25 September to 9 October, the day-by-day partner list has one last slot on the 10th, and the Overview's next update is due 5 October. Every card below has been shown somewhere you can check; anything that has not is labelled missing rather than guessed at. For Radiance's three new keywords - Deploy, Show Off and Disarm - and the Bomb token, see our Radiance mechanics breakdown, and for the reveal calendar itself, the preview season schedule.

Where the reveals stand on 2 October

Riot had named seven of the nine Legends by 25 September:

  • 3 August, Products and Sets into 2027: Seraphine, Ziggs, Jarvan IV, Ekko and Evelynn, "And four more friends!" The same article printed Ekko's Legend card, Boy Who Shattered Time, in full.
  • 25 September, The Radiance Overview: Orianna, via the line "With Orianna's Legend effect, equipment can now become Units as well," with her Legend card printed beside it.
  • 25 September, Riot's Radiance press release: K'Sante, as "the newly revealed K'Sante, Pride of Nazumah."

Since then the Legend cards have arrived through three routes:

  • Riot's Card Gallery. Riot updates it every day at 5pm PT with the previous day's reveals. On 2 October it lists 84 Radiance entries, covering 59 of the set's 167 numbered base cards plus runes and Showcase versions. Six of those entries are base Legend cards: Ekko, Ziggs, Orianna, K'Sante, Seraphine and Jarvan IV.
  • IGN, 1 October. IGN's exclusive showed Mordekaiser's Legend, Iron Revenant, numbered RAD 143/167, plus an Overnumber at 170/167, and described him as "a legend of Fury (red) and Order (yellow)." It is not in the gallery yet.
  • Evelynn's Overnumber, 1 October. Her Overnumber Legend surfaced first as a Chinese printing, numbered RAD 175/167, with Body and Chaos domain symbols and the title 痛苦之拥. Riot's own daily reveals video on X showed the English printing that evening: Agony's Embrace, the title Evelynn carries in League. Neither printing is in the gallery yet, her base Legend card has not been shown, and the Overview's Evelynn Showdown Deck decklist still lists her Legend as "TBD".

Riot has not shown a Riven Legend. What the gallery does hold is Blade of the Exile, a Signature gear tagged Riven. Riftbound Report - one of Riot's named reveal partners - was already listing Riven among the nine on 28 September.

The nine slots at a glance

Riot numbered Unleashed's and Vendetta's Legends in one block, each followed by its own Signature card, and every Radiance card shown so far fits the same layout. Here is Radiance's block as it stands:

Two things in that table are deductions rather than printed facts, and the next section shows the working for both: Evelynn's base number, and the whole of row 149.

The missing card is almost certainly Riven

In Unleashed and Vendetta, every Legend sits on an odd collector number with its own Signature card on the next number up. Vendetta runs from Akali at VEN 139, with her Signature Shuriken Flip at 140, to Kennen at 155, with Lightning Rush at 156. Radiance follows that layout for all four Legend-and-Signature pairs in the gallery: Ekko at 139 and 140, Ziggs at 141 and 142, K'Sante at 147 and 148, Jarvan IV at 155 and 156. A fifth pair shown outside the gallery fits too: Seraphine at 151, with her Signature spell Encore at 152.

The Overnumbered Legends run in the same order one block later: Ekko at 168 (shown by GameSpot on 30 September), Ziggs at 169, Mordekaiser at 170, Orianna at 171, K'Sante at 172, Seraphine at 174, Evelynn at 175 and Jarvan IV at 176. Mordekaiser shows the two blocks line up - IGN printed both his 143 and his 170 - which is how Evelynn's 175 puts her base card at 153.

That leaves one hole in the base block, 149, between K'Sante and Seraphine, and its partner in the Overnumber block, 173. Card 150 is Blade of the Exile, tagged Riven, on Calm and Chaos. Under Core Rule 103.2.d.2, every Signature card in a deck "must have the Champion tag that corresponds to the Champion Legend of the deck," so a Riven Signature with no Riven Legend would be unplayable in Constructed. Put the rule next to the numbering and slot 149 reads as a Calm and Chaos Riven Legend. Riot has not shown it, though, so treat that as an inference rather than a reveal.

The Riftbound Signature gear Blade of the Exile (RAD 150/167) on a dark navy background: a black blade with glowing green runes lying in purple jungle grass, typed Signature Gear, Riven, Equipment, with a 3 Energy cost, a split green-and-purple Power symbol, an Equip cost of one Power of any domain or exhausting a friendly unit, and a Ganking +3 Might bonus.

No rival pairs, and no thin rows

Riftbound has six domains and fifteen possible two-domain pairings. Three of them pair a domain with its opposite - Fury and Calm, Mind and Body, Chaos and Order - and Vendetta printed the first Legend on each: Akali, Jayce and Kennen.

Radiance adds nothing to those three. The eight Legend cards shown are all on non-rival pairings, and the Riven Signature in slot 150 is Calm and Chaos, which is not a rival pair either. Unless the unshown card contradicts its own Signature, the rival rows stay one Legend deep through Radiance.

What Radiance does instead is fill in the grid. Vendetta's six non-rival Legends went on Fury and Body, Fury and Chaos, Calm and Mind, Calm and Order, Mind and Chaos, and Body and Order. Six of Radiance's nine go on exactly the six non-rival pairings Vendetta left out, Riven's on the strength of her Signature card. Counting main-set Legends from Origins onward, and leaving out the four Proving Grounds starters as the domains guide does:

PairingMain-set Legends through VendettaRadiance addsAfter Radiance

Mind + Order3Seraphine4
Body + Chaos3Evelynn4
Body + Order4Jarvan IV5
Fury + Calm (rival)1-1
Mind + Body (rival)1-1
Chaos + Order (rival)1-1

The through-Vendetta column matches the grid in the domains guide, and I re-counted it against Riot's gallery rather than trusting it. Before Radiance, six non-rival pairings had three main-set Legends and six had four. After it, with slot 149 counted as Riven, all twelve have at least four, and three of them - Fury and Chaos, Calm and Mind, Body and Order - have five. If you had been passing on a pairing because it offered only three Legends to choose from, Radiance is the set that evens that out.

What the revealed Legend cards do

Card text below is quoted from Riot's Card Gallery unless it says otherwise. Where a cost uses the rainbow rune symbol, I write it as "1 Power of any domain."

Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time (Fury + Mind). An Empower Legend. Empowering him costs 1 Energy and exhausting him, and only works if he is not already Empowered. Once he is, you can disempower and exhaust him to make the next unit you play that turn cost 2 Energy and 1 Power of any domain less, and give it "Kill me at end of turn." Both abilities exhaust him, so on his own he charges on one turn and pays out on a later one; the keyword glossary covers how Empower works. His Signature, Chronobreak (2 Energy), takes any amount of Power as an additional cost, banishes that many units you control, and then has each owner play those units back "to the same location or to their base, ignoring its cost." The only Radiance Ekko champion unit in the gallery so far is Ekko, Ingenious: 3 Energy, 4 Might, Mind, with Ganking and an additional cost of returning a friendly unit to its owner's hand.

Two Riftbound Radiance cards side by side on a dark navy background: the Ekko Legend Boy Who Shattered Time (RAD 139/167), showing Ekko in a hooded green coat crouching with a long gold-tipped weapon over his shoulder beside a brass time device, with red Fury and blue Mind symbols in the corner, and his Signature spell Chronobreak (RAD 140/167), a 2-cost card showing Ekko swinging a chained device while blue afterimages of him flicker behind.

Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert (Fury + Chaos). The Legend is a Bomb factory: pay 1 Energy and 1 Power of any domain and exhaust him to "Play a Bomb gear token to a battlefield." Bombs carry Deploy and a Deathknell that deals 2 to an enemy there and kills your other Bombs there, which is the chain reaction our mechanics post walks through. His Signature, Hexplosive Minefield (2 Energy, 1 Power, Action), kills any number of your Bomb tokens and, at end of turn, plays that many new Bomb tokens to a single battlefield. His champion unit, Ziggs, Short-Fused (5 Energy, 1 Power, 5 Might, Fury), plays a Bomb when he enters, and "Abilities of friendly gear deal 1 Bonus Damage." Five Radiance cards in the gallery make Bombs so far, and two of them are not Ziggs cards at all: Amateur Demolitionist and Satchel Charge.

Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant (Fury + Order). Read off IGN's 1 October card image, because it is not in the gallery yet: "Reaction - Banish a unit or gear from your trash, exhaust: Add [1 Power of any domain]. Spend this Power only to play units or gear. (Abilities that add resources can't be reacted to.)" That last line is a rule our chain and focus guide covers - resource-adding abilities resolve immediately, with no window to respond - printed on the card as a reminder. The gallery already holds his champion unit, Mordekaiser, Dominating: 9 Energy, 2 Power, 8 Might, Order, and "When you play me or when I attack, you may discard 1 to kill a unit or gear."

Orianna, Lady of Clockwork (Calm + Mind). The Equipment Units Legend, covered in full in our mechanics post. New since then is her champion unit, Orianna, Mechanical Marvel: 5 Energy, 5 Might, Mind, and "Once each turn, while I'm at a battlefield, you may pay [1 Energy and 1 Power of any domain] less to play a gear."

K'Sante, Pride of Nazumah (Calm + Body). Pay 1 Energy and exhaust him to give a friendly unit "I have Assault equal to my Shield" this turn. Shield adds Might only while a unit is defending, so the Legend turns a defensive number into an attacking one. All four K'Sante cards in the gallery read Shield. The Signature, Ntofo Strikes (2 Energy, 1 Power, Action), gives a friendly unit Shield 2 this turn and then deals damage equal to its Shield to an enemy unit. K'Sante, Dauntless (Calm, 4 Energy, 1 Power, 4 Might) has Shield and, when he attacks or defends, doubles the Shield of a unit you control there. K'Sante, Courageous (Body, 5 Energy, 4 Might) has Accelerate and Shield 2, and channels a rune when he holds.

Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress (Mind + Order). "As an additional cost to play a spell, you may exhaust me and three friendly units to reduce the cost of that spell by 2." The reduction is 2 Energy. Her champion unit, Seraphine, Not Alone (5 Energy, 1 Power, 1 Might, Order), plays a 1-Might Recruit token to your base when you play her or when she becomes exhausted, and has +1 Might for each other exhausted unit you control, so the three units her Legend exhausts are exactly what Not Alone counts. Her Signature spell, Encore (RAD 152), has been shown outside the gallery but is not in it yet. She leads one of the two Showdown Decks; Riot's Overview names her Legend and leaves the rest of that list TBD until 16 October.

Evelynn, Agony's Embrace (Body + Chaos). Not in the gallery yet, so this is read off the English Overnumber in Riot's 1 October reveals video on X: "Once each turn, when you play a card from face down, draw 1. Then, if it's not your turn, discard 1." The Chinese printing carries the same text. Playing a card from face down is how Hidden cards get played - our keyword glossary has the full Hidden rules. Her Radiance champion unit is in the gallery in English: Evelynn, Consuming (5 Energy, 1 Power, 5 Might, Body), with Ambush and "When you play a card from face down, ready me and give me +1 Might this turn." Two other Radiance units in the gallery carry Hidden so far, Elnuk Herd and Momentary Companion.

Jarvan IV, Exemplar of Demacia (Body + Order). "When you play a gear with Deploy, you may exhaust me and pay [1 Power of any domain] to move a friendly unit to that battlefield." Deploy gear can only be played to a battlefield and dies when an opponent holds there, so the Legend's job is to get a body standing next to it. His Signature, Demacian Standard (2 Energy, 1 Power), is Deploy gear itself: when one or more friendly units attack there, one of them gets +2 Might this turn, and when you hold there you may return it to its owner's hand. Seven Radiance cards in the gallery have Deploy printed on their own face, Demacian Standard included. Bomb tokens carry it as well; whether playing a token counts as playing a gear for his trigger is a question for Riot's rules documents. No Jarvan IV champion unit is in the gallery yet.

Two Riftbound Radiance cards side by side on a dark navy background: the Jarvan IV Legend Exemplar of Demacia (RAD 155/167), showing Jarvan IV in spiked gold-and-black armour holding a halberd against an orange background, with orange Body and gold Order symbols in the corner, and his Signature gear Demacian Standard (RAD 156/167), a gold-and-purple Demacian banner on a spear, carrying the Deploy keyword.

Riven (Calm + Chaos, Legend not shown). Only the Signature exists so far: Blade of the Exile, 3 Energy and 1 Power, its Power symbol split between Calm green and Chaos purple. It is Equipment with "Equip - [1 Power of any domain] or exhaust a friendly unit," and the card face gives the equipped unit Ganking and +3 Might.

Neeko, the champion with no domain

Card 167, the last numbered card in the base set, is the strangest thing Radiance has shown. Neeko, Blending In is a 6-Energy, 1-Power, 4-Might Champion Unit with no domain at all. Of the 1,273 entries in Riot's gallery across every set on 2 October, she is the only one without a domain that is not a battlefield, rune or token. Her text, in full:

(Neutral cards can go in decks of any Domain.) If Neeko is in your deck, choose 3 different legends in addition to your starting legend. (Different means none match names.) When you play me, choose one of those legends and add it to your Legend Zone while I'm on the board.

The first line is reminder text, and it settles the obvious question: she fits in any Domain Identity. What she cannot be, in Constructed, is your Chosen Champion, because Core Rule 103.2.a.2 requires "a champion unit with a champion tag that matches the tag on your Champion Legend," and no Legend card shown in any set so far carries the Neeko tag. So she is a Main Deck card that, for as long as she stays on the board, gives you a second Legend picked from three you named before the game.

The Riftbound champion unit Neeko, Blending In (RAD 167/167) on a dark navy background: Neeko with blue hair, a pink flower and green-scaled cheeks reaching toward the viewer with a glowing hand, a 6 Energy cost, 4 Might, a grey Power symbol, and rules text reading that neutral cards can go in decks of any domain and that she lets you add one of three chosen Legends to your Legend Zone.

What the card does not say, and what Riot has not ruled on yet:

  • whether the three extra Legends have to fit your Domain Identity, or can be any Legends at all;
  • how those three get recorded on a decklist at events that require one;
  • whether the added Legend arrives ready or exhausted, which decides whether an exhaust ability like Ziggs's or K'Sante's can be used the turn Neeko lands.

On timing: Riot posted its Vendetta Core Rules patch notes alongside the 16 July Core Rules update, two weeks before Vendetta's 31 July release. As of 2 October nothing equivalent for Radiance is on Riot's news page, and the Core Rules on the Rules Hub are still the 16 July edition.

What lands next

  • 5 October, 10:00 AM PT: the Overview's second update. Riot says to check back then for the Ultimate Rare, the new Alt Art Runes and the prizes for the Radiance Summoner Skirmishes. The Merch Store drawing selection begins around 9:00 AM PT the same day.
  • 5 to 10 October: the rest of the partner reveal list, which our preview schedule has day by day.
  • 9 October: the last day of previews in Riot's Key Dates. The day-by-day list adds one partner slot on the 10th.
  • 16 October, 10:00 AM PT: the Overview's third update, with both Showdown Deck decklists and the Nexus Night promo list. Pre-Rifts run 16 to 22 October, and Riot says the Pre-Rift Kits contain "five Radiance boosters and a seeded Pre-Rift pack for each of the nine new Legends."
  • 23 October: release, in English, French and Chinese.

Still not shown as of 2 October: the card in slot 149 and its Overnumber at 173, Evelynn's base Legend card at 153, and any Signature card for Mordekaiser, Orianna or Evelynn.

Quick reference

  • Shown (8 of 9 Legend cards): Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time (Fury + Mind); Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert (Fury + Chaos); Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant (Fury + Order); Orianna, Lady of Clockwork (Calm + Mind); K'Sante, Pride of Nazumah (Calm + Body); Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress (Mind + Order); Evelynn, Agony's Embrace (Body + Chaos, Overnumber only so far); Jarvan IV, Exemplar of Demacia (Body + Order).
  • Not shown: slot 149 and its Overnumber at 173. Card 150 is Blade of the Exile, a Calm + Chaos Signature gear tagged Riven, so 149 is almost certainly a Riven Legend.
  • Rival pairs: none in Radiance. Fury + Calm, Mind + Body and Chaos + Order each still have exactly one Legend.
  • Grid effect: six of Radiance's nine Legends cover the six non-rival pairings Vendetta skipped. With Riven counted, every non-rival pairing ends Radiance with at least four main-set Legends.
  • Signature cards in the gallery: Chronobreak (Ekko), Hexplosive Minefield (Ziggs), Ntofo Strikes (K'Sante), Blade of the Exile (Riven), Demacian Standard (Jarvan IV). Seraphine's, Encore, has been shown outside the gallery but is not in it yet.
  • Neeko, Blending In: a domainless Champion Unit that, while on the board, adds one of three pre-chosen Legends to your Legend Zone. In Constructed it cannot be your Chosen Champion.
  • Next updates: Riot's Overview on 5 and 16 October; release 23 October.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the nine Legends in Riftbound Radiance?
Riftbound Radiance's nine Legends are Ekko, Ziggs, Mordekaiser, Orianna, K'Sante, Seraphine, Evelynn and Jarvan IV, plus a ninth that is almost certainly Riven. As of 2 October 2026, eight of the nine Legend cards had been shown through Riot's Card Gallery, an IGN exclusive and Riot's 1 October reveals video. The ninth slot, RAD 149, had not been shown, but card 150 is Blade of the Exile, a Signature gear tagged Riven, and in Constructed a Signature card is only legal in a deck whose Legend shares its champion tag.
What domains are the Riftbound Radiance Legends?
The Riftbound Radiance Legends shown by 2 October 2026 are Ekko (Fury and Mind), Ziggs (Fury and Chaos), Mordekaiser (Fury and Order), Orianna (Calm and Mind), K'Sante (Calm and Body), Seraphine (Mind and Order), Evelynn (Body and Chaos) and Jarvan IV (Body and Order). Riven's Signature gear, Blade of the Exile, is Calm and Chaos, which points to a Calm and Chaos Riven Legend that Riot had not yet shown.
Does Riftbound Radiance have any Legends on rival domain pairs?
No Riftbound Radiance Legend shown by 2 October 2026 sits on a rival pair. The three rival pairings - Fury and Calm, Mind and Body, Chaos and Order - each still have only the one Legend Vendetta gave them: Akali, Jayce and Kennen. Six of Radiance's nine Legends instead cover the six non-rival pairings Vendetta skipped, which leaves every non-rival pairing with at least four main-set Legends once Riven is counted.
What is Mordekaiser's Legend in Riftbound Radiance?
Mordekaiser's Riftbound Radiance Legend is Iron Revenant, RAD 143/167, a Fury and Order Legend revealed by IGN on 1 October 2026. Its Reaction ability costs banishing a unit or gear from your trash and exhausting the Legend, and adds 1 Power of any domain that can only be spent to play units or gear. His champion unit, Mordekaiser, Dominating, costs 9 Energy and 2 Power with 8 Might, and lets you discard a card to kill a unit or gear when you play him or when he attacks.
How does Neeko work in Riftbound Radiance?
Neeko, Blending In (RAD 167/167) is a Riftbound Radiance Champion Unit with no domain, so it can go in a deck of any Domain Identity. If Neeko is in your deck, you choose three different Legends before the game in addition to your starting Legend; when you play Neeko, you add one of those three to your Legend Zone for as long as Neeko stays on the board. In Constructed, Neeko cannot be your Chosen Champion, because the Chosen Champion must share a champion tag with your Legend and no Legend card shown so far carries the Neeko tag. Riot had not published Radiance rules clarifications for the card as of 2 October 2026.
What is K'Sante's Legend in Riftbound Radiance?
K'Sante's Riftbound Radiance Legend is Pride of Nazumah, RAD 147/167, on Calm and Body. For 1 Energy and exhausting the Legend, a friendly unit gains "I have Assault equal to my Shield" for the turn, turning a defensive stat into an attacking one. His Signature spell is Ntofo Strikes, and his two Radiance champion units, K'Sante, Dauntless and K'Sante, Courageous, both carry Shield.
