Every Cookie Run: Braverse Set in Order: Release Timeline & Buying Guide

If you've tried to figure out the Cookie Run: Braverse release order, you've probably hit the same wall we did: set codes and card counts get reported inconsistently across retailers, wikis, and regional listings. Part of that is because the booster product names don't map cleanly onto the underlying set-code numbering, so it's easy to wind up with the sets in the wrong order.

So here's what this guide does: it lays out every booster set in release order, with dates, describes what each one added to the game, and is explicit about which details - specifically the set codes - don't behave the way you'd expect. We'll keep this page updated as new sets land.

One quirk to know up front: the set codes you'll see online (BS1, BS3, BS5...) don't run as a tidy 1, 2, 3 sequence, because the card-number prefixes and the booster product names don't line up one-to-one. The release order above is what actually matters - see the note further down for why the codes look the way they do.

Brave Beginning (the launch set)

Brave Beginning is where the game starts. It released on October 30, 2024, and it's the set that establishes the fundamentals: the five colors, the core Cookies, and the building blocks every later set expands on. It launched alongside the original five color Starter Decks (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple).

If you're starting out, this is the most "evergreen" set to understand because so much of the game's vocabulary lives here.

Age of Heroes and Kingdoms

Age of Heroes and Kingdoms released on March 13, 2025, expanding the card pool with a heroes-and-kingdoms theme. It's a meaningful chunk of new cards for deck-builders across all five colors, and it's the set that introduced the Ancient keyword - the first big wave of Ancient Cookies, including Golden Cheese Cookie (BS3-025, Yellow) and White Lily Cookie (BS3-055, Green). This is also the largest booster in the game by card entries, which makes sense: it's actually two card-number waves (BS3 and BS4) sold under one product name, which is where a lot of the set-code confusion starts.

Operation Timeguard

Operation Timeguard released on June 8, 2025, and it's the set that introduced the Dragon keyword - a full color wheel of Dragon Cookies, one per color: Pitaya Dragon (BS5-013, Red), Ananas Dragon (BS5-040, Yellow), Longan Dragon (BS5-056, Green), Lotus Dragon (BS5-071, Blue), and Lychee Dragon Cookie (BS5-093, Purple). Each of those five is a Level 3 with 5 HP at Ultra Rare, and each ships with a matching support card (a Nest, Cave, or Orb). Like Age of Heroes, Timeguard is a two-wave booster - its cards carry both BS5 and BS6 numbers.

Arena of Glory

Arena of Glory landed on September 4, 2025, and it's the most single-mindedly themed booster in the game: virtually every Cookie in it carries the Arena keyword. It's where you'll find the Arena versions of Cookies like Chili Pepper (BS7-013), Capsaicin (BS7-014), Kouign-Amann (BS7-035), and Dark Choco Cookie (BS7-067). Unlike the two boosters before it, Arena of Glory is a single-wave set - everything carries a BS7 number - which is part of why it's a smaller checklist than Age of Heroes or Operation Timeguard.

Land of Fire & Ruin, Realm of Apathy

Land of Fire & Ruin, Realm of Apathy released on October 28, 2025, and it's a landmark set for two reasons. First, it introduced the Beast keyword and the game's first EXTRA card type - a new category of Cookie that layers on top of your board. Second, it's home to a stacked lineup of marquee Cookies: Burning Spice (BS8-009, Red), Mystic Flour (BS8-059, Green, a 6-HP Level 3), Golden Cheese (BS8-027, Yellow), and Dark Cacao Cookie (BS8-104, Purple) all appear here as Ultra Rares with alt-art chase versions. A Game of Truth and Deceit

A Game of Truth and Deceit released on January 29, 2026 (the BS9 wave). It's headlined by Shadow Milk Cookie, who is unusual: rather than existing in a single color, Shadow Milk shows up as an EXTRA Cookie across four colors here - BS9-010 (Red), BS9-030 (Yellow), BS9-055 (Green), and BS9-102 (Purple) - with Pure Vanilla Cookie (BS9-088) rounding out the Blue slot. Mechanically this is the FLIP-heavy set: it carries far more FLIP cards than the boosters around it, so it plays like a different machine than the Beast-and-Break-Area sets. Paradise of Passion & Sloth / Catacombs of Silence

Paradise of Passion & Sloth / Catacombs of Silence released on March 20, 2026 - a twin-themed expansion (the slash in the name reflects its dual concept) that added cards across all five colors. It's recent enough that sealed product is still easy to find.

The Dark Enchantress War (the newest set)

The Dark Enchantress War is the newest booster set (the BS11 wave), which went on sale July 24, 2026, built around the Dark Enchantress storyline. It's the most mechanically distinct set on the shelf: it introduced the BLACK color, an entirely new villain faction whose Cookies (led by Dark Enchantress Cookie, BS11-115) don't slot into the existing five-color wheel. It's also home to the single rarest card in the entire game - more on that in the rarities guide. As the freshest set, it's where the latest Secret-rarity chase Cookies are, and sealed product is most available right after release.

Which keyword each set introduced

One of the cleanest ways to understand Braverse's history is by the mechanic each booster brought to the table. The keyword rollout is remarkably tidy:

Card counts and chase-card ratios

People constantly ask how many cards are in each set, and the honest answer is: it depends on whether you count alternate-art printings. Every high-rarity card in Braverse has a plain base printing and a fancy alt-art Secret printing, and the official database lists those as separate entries. Counting those alt arts, here's roughly how the boosters stack up by total database entries and by how much of each set is chase-rarity (Secret, EXR, or GXR) treatment:

The takeaways: the two earliest boosters are the biggest because each bundles two card-number waves, and roughly one in five entries in any set is a chase-rarity alt art. The set-code map, decoded

Here's the thing about the set codes you'll see online (BS1, BS3, BS5, and so on): they do not run as a clean 1, 2, 3 sequence that matches booster names, because the first three boosters each contain two card-number waves. Once you see the actual mapping, the whole thing clicks:

So the "missing" numbers aren't missing at all: BS2 lives inside Brave Beginning, BS4 inside Age of Heroes, BS6 inside Operation Timeguard. From Arena of Glory (BS7) onward, each booster is a single prefix, so the codes finally track release order. Starter decks use their own ST1-ST10 numbering, and promo cards carry P or set-prefixed numbers with an @ suffix. Which set should you buy?

A practical buying order for different goals:

• Brand new and want to play? Start with a Starter Deck, not loose boosters. You get a full deck immediately. There are ten to choose from now: the original five color decks, plus five newer named decks (Flames of Immortality, Tree of Life, Guardian Winds, Seas of Fate, and Glorious Moonlight).
• Ready to upgrade your deck? Buy singles or packs from the most recent set your color is supported in - newer sets are easiest to find sealed and keep your collection current.
• Collecting the chase cards? The newest set (currently The Dark Enchantress War) is where the freshest Secret-rarity Cookies are, and sealed product is most available right after release.
