Disney Lorcana Sets in Order: All 14, and What's Next

That is not an error, and it is the thing to understand first about how Disney Lorcana builds a set. Ravensburger prints a fixed skeleton of standard-rarity cards, then numbers the chase cards above it - so the "set size" on the card face and the number of cards you can actually put in a deck are two different figures, and a set list can quote either one without saying which.

Here are all 14 released main sets in order, with the dates, the counts that reconcile, and which ones you can still play in Core Constructed. Then the two sets Ravensburger has announced and has not yet released.

Card data for the first 13 sets is one pass over the Lorcast bulk export and set index, pulled 27 September 2026; the Hyperia City row comes from a second pull on 25 October 2026, after the set's release. Lorcast has also added five repeat printings to four of the older sets since the first pull; they are covered in the repeats section and left out of the table and its totals. Legality, rotation, Hyperia City's street date and the unreleased sets come from Ravensburger's own pages, cited at the bottom.

Every Disney Lorcana set in release order

Standard is the count of distinct cards at Common through Legendary. Chase is the Epic, Enchanted and Iconic printings numbered above them. Repeats are second printings of a card that already appears in the same set. The three columns add to the printings column on every row, and to the totals at the bottom.

Fourteen sets in 1,155 days, from The First Chapter to Hyperia City. The thirteen gaps between them run from 70 days to 112, mean 88.8; Hyperia City's, after Attack of the Vine!, was 91. Four sets a year, held for three years.

About those dates

The dates above are Lorcast's, and they record when cards first became legally available rather than the mass-market street date. Three sets prove it. Ravensburger's own product page for The First Chapter still bills it as "Enter the Great Illuminary September 2023", where Lorcast has 18 August 2023 - the limited game-store launch. Attack of the Vine! is listed as 17 July 2026, which is its prerelease weekend - Ravensburger's own press release has it "prereleasing on July 17, 2026 in game stores and select Disney Parks and stores, and then will be available everywhere on July 24." Hyperia City is the same: Lorcast's 16 October 2026 is its prerelease, and Ravensburger's 22 September press release says the set "will be available everywhere on October 23rd." Read the column as first availability, and expect a one-to-two-week offset against the date on a retail box.

The 204-card skeleton Ravensburger held for twelve sets

Twelve of the fourteen sets contain exactly 204 distinct standard cards, split identically in all twelve.

Two sets break it, and both breaks are small and specific.

Fabled has a nineteenth Super Rare because it has a card numbered 0: Bruno Madrigal - Undetected Uncle, a 4-ink Amethyst Evasive character. It is the only card numbered 0 anywhere in the Lorcast export, at both pulls, and Ursula's Return had already printed the song We Don't Talk About Bruno twice, at Rare and Enchanted. Whether the numbering is a joke is not something Ravensburger has said.

Attack of the Vine! has 51 Rares instead of 48, taking the standard run to 207 and the set to 245 printings - the largest Lorcana set so far by printings, and the only set other than Fabled to move off 204.

The chase tiers on top of that run have grown twice:

Enchanted went from 12 a set to 18 with Into the Inklands. Fabled added Epic and Iconic together, which is why sets 9 onward jump to roughly 242 printings while the deckbuildable pool stays at 204. What each tier actually is, and what it is worth, is the subject of the rarities breakdown.

Why a card can be numbered 245 out of 207

Because the chase cards are not extra cards. They are second printings of cards already inside the set.

Belle & Beast - Certain as the Sun is card 132 of Attack of the Vine! at Super Rare, and card 245 of the same set at Iconic. Same name, same version, same rules text, different treatment and a number above the set size printed on its own face.

That holds across the whole game. Of the 360 Epic, Enchanted and Iconic printings in the 14 main sets, every one matches a standard-rarity card in the same set - zero exceptions, checked card by card with names folded for apostrophes and capitalisation. So the honest answer to "how many cards are in a Lorcana set" is 204 if you are building a deck and 242-ish if you are completing a binder, and both numbers are correct for their own question.

Across all 14 main sets that is 3,237 printings and 2,680 distinct cards, deduping by full name with apostrophes and capitalisation folded; none of Hyperia City's 204 standard cards shares a full name with a card from an earlier main set. Ravensburger's own D23 press release of 14 August 2026 says the game had "13 sets released, more than 3,000 unique cards published, and 2.8 billion cards sold worldwide." Worth holding both numbers next to each other before you quote either: at the 27 September pull those 13 sets came to 2,995 printings and 2,476 distinct cards, and the export only passed 3,000 by counting printings across every product it tracks, 3,287 of them, previews and promos included.

What the 17 repeat printings actually are

The 17 repeat printings in the table above are not evenly spread, and they come in three shapes.

Five arts in one slot. Into the Inklands numbers one card 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d and 4e: Dalmatian Puppy - Tail Wagger, a 2-ink Amber Common whose rules text reads "You may have up to 99 copies of Dalmatian Puppy - Tail Wagger in your deck." Five genuinely different illustrations, all by Kapik, each carrying its own letter on the card face - 4a/204, 4b/204 and so on. One card, one slot in the 204, four repeats.

Cold foil printings. Reign of Jafar is the only set in the export whose numbers carry an f suffix: Louie - One Cool Duck at 1 and 1f, Dewey at 2 and 2f, Huey at 3 and 3f, and the two Fearsome Crocodiles, Nero at 65 and 65f and Brutus at 125 and 125f. These are not alternate arts, and no f is printed on any of them. Base and f records share one illustration and one illustrator, and the f card's own face reads 1/204 exactly like the base printing. What separates them is the finish: Lorcast's buy link for the f record points at a TCGplayer listing filtered to Cold Foil, and the f record carries a foil price and no non-foil price. The letter is a database disambiguator for a foil-only treatment - five more repeats.

Slots above everything else. Four sets number a small handful of reprints in the 223-225 range, and in those sets that is above the Enchanted block rather than below it: standard cards run 1-204, the 18 Enchanted take 205-222, and these reprints sit on top at 223 and up. Ursula's Return does it three times - 223 repeats Yen Sid - Powerful Sorcerer from 59, 224 repeats Mulan - Elite Archer from 114, 225 repeats Mickey Mouse - Playful Sorcerer from 187. Shimmering Skies does it once (223 = Half Hexwell Crown, also at 65), Archazia's Island twice (223 = Bolt - Superdog from 4, 224 = Elsa - Ice Maker from 69) and Reign of Jafar twice (223 = Goofy - Groundbreaking Chef from 4, 224 = Pinocchio - Strings Attached from 61). Eight repeats, and the last of the seventeen.

Lorcast has added five more since the 27 September pull, all numbered above the chase block and all repeats of a card already in the same set: Piglet - Pooh Pirate Captain at Into the Inklands 223 (also at 16), Sven - Leaping Reindeer at Winterspell 243 (also at 60), Mr. Incredible - Super Strong at Wilds Unknown 243 (also at 127), and Christopher Robin - Hunny Sage and Violet Parr - Super Resilient at Attack of the Vine! 246 and 247 (also at 61 and 176). The table above predates them. In the 25 October export the repeat count is 22, Attack of the Vine! runs to 247 printings and the 14 main sets to 3,242, while every distinct-card count in this post stays the same.

None of it changes what is legal or how many copies you can run: the four-copy limit is on the card's full name, not on the printing, so five arts of the Dalmatian Puppy is still four copies unless the card says otherwise. Three cards across the 14 main sets do say otherwise in their own text, and they move it in both directions: Dalmatian Puppy - Tail Wagger raises the ceiling to 99, Microbots, an item from Azurite Sea, lets you run any number, and The Glass Slipper, an item from Archazia's Island, lowers it to 2.

What is still legal: Core Constructed is Fabled onward

Ravensburger's rotation explainer of 4 August 2026 states the rule directly: "Once per year, Disney Lorcana TCG rotates the four oldest sets and those cards are no longer playable in Core Constructed tournaments," and "From Attack of the Vine! on, whenever you play in a Core Constructed format, you will only be able to use cards from Fabled and onward."

So the current Core pool is sets 9 through 14 - Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown, Attack of the Vine! and Hyperia City - which is 1,456 printings by the table (1,460 in the 25 October export) and 1,228 distinct cards, 45.8% of the 2,680 printed across all 14 main sets. Hyperia City joined it on 16 October 2026, because Tournament Rules 1.6 makes a set legal in sanctioned Constructed tournaments "immediately on prerelease in hobby stores", and it pushed nothing out: rotation is annual, and the last one ran with Attack of the Vine!. One thing to know if you check Lorcast: at the 25 October pull its legality field still marks every Hyperia City card as not legal in Core, while the Tournament Rules and LorcanaJSON both have the set legal from 16 October.

Three things that rule does not say:

• A reprint carries its card forward. Ravensburger's own wording: "if you have a card from any set released up to and including Reign of Jafar, and if that card was reprinted in Fabled or later, you may still play that card in Core Constructed play." The old copy is legal. What matters is that the full name matches - the article's own example is that Belle - Apprentice Inventor is not Belle - Inventive Engineer, and only one of them survived.
• Different art is still the same card. Both printings of a reprinted card are legal in every format.
• Nothing is dead. Infinity Constructed is the eternal format where, in Ravensburger's phrasing, you can build with almost any card ever printed. Its ban list is one card long: Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker, banned there since 26 March 2026. Core has no live ban to worry about: the two cards banned from Core in April 2025 (Hiram and Fortisphere) are in sets that have since rotated out - the ban history is short.

The two sets Ravensburger has announced

Neither has been released, and as of 25 October 2026 Lorcast's set index has no entry for either, so what follows is dates and what Ravensburger has published, not how any of it plays.

Into the Inkdark is set 15. Its product page prints a 5 February prerelease and a 12 February release but no year. Ravensburger's 22 September press release calls it "the first set to be released in 2027", and its D23 release had it in Q1 2027, so both dates fall in February 2027; LorcanaJSON's set data carries the same two 2027 dates. A 5 February prerelease would land 112 days after Hyperia City's, level with the longest gap so far, Azurite Sea to Archazia's Island.

It also brings the first structural change to Lorcana's rarity ladder since Fabled: collector boosters, twelve premium foil cards apiece, and a new rarity called Illustrious. Ravensburger's D23 announcement puts the print run at "only 23 serialized copies of each Illustrious card" per set, with six Illustrious cards in Into the Inkdark. Two are on the product page so far, each marked as found only in collector boosters: Maleficent - Biding Her Time, revealed at D23, and The Evil Queen - Commanding Presence. That is a ninth rarity tier arriving on a card ladder that has had eight since Fabled.

Cosmic Quest is dated Q2 2027 on its product page - the D23 press release called it Spring 2027 - and got a first look at that panel.

The 22 September press release also looks further out without naming anything: "come late 2027, a certain magical mayhem will be released across the realm." That is a teaser, not an announced set, which is why it is not in the table.

Rotation is annual, and the Tournament Rules' rotation list (14 July 2026 update) stops at Attack of the Vine!, saying only that "additional rotations will be added in future updates." It names no date or set for the next one, so treat any specific claim about which sets leave next as a projection rather than a fact.

The sets that are not sets

At the 27 September pull, Lorcast tracked eleven more products alongside the numbered sets: 220 printings that are not part of any main run.

Two of them share Attack of the Vine!'s 17 July 2026 date. Curator's Collection: Heroines Edition is six Promo-rarity cards, one per ink - Ariel, Elsa, Jasmine, Mulan, Anna and Tinker Bell - and Promo Set 4 is ten more Promo-rarity printings, numbered 7 through 16 in the export. PD1 is the one product Lorcast files under its bare code rather than a real name; its eight cards are Promo-rarity printings dated 28 July 2026, the same day Format Coconut appeared.

Every card in the ten promo and event sets now also has a printing in a main set. The last holdout was Héctor Rivera - Gone to Pieces, D23 Collection card 13, which had no other printing at the 27 September pull; Hyperia City reprints it as card 121, one of the set's 27 Coco cards. So a promo from those ten sets is never the only way to own a given card: the promo card system is a distribution channel, not a card pool. Format Coconut is the real exception: its cards live in the Companion app and Ravensburger's beta rules PDF for the multiplayer beta, with no product to open and no printing to buy.

Lorcast has added a twelfth product since that pull: Hunny Rescue - Illumineer's Quest, code Q3, 37 cards dated 2 October 2026. Those are the cards from Ravensburger's co-op Great Hunny Rescue box, not a promo set.
