Cookie Run: Braverse Errata List - All 29 Corrected Cards

Pull up Burning Jelly Volcano (ST1-022) in Devsisters' own English card database and you get two cards under one number. The Uncommon out of Starter Deck RED reads "Select 1 of your Cookies." The full-art promo reprint reads "Select up to 1 of your Cookies." Same card number, same name, same cost - two different rules texts, both published by the same company on the same page.

That is not a database glitch. It is an errata, and there are 29 of them.

What Devsisters counts as an errata

The official English errata notice defines the category in one line: errata cards are "cards which have their text corrected due to misprints or to clarify translation." It lives in the RULES category of the Braverse site's notice feed, was first posted March 21, 2026, and carries an "updated on 04/15/26" stamp, though its newest entry is dated March 20, 2026.

Twenty-nine card numbers appear on it, dated across six days:

The January 2025 block is a launch-window cleanup: it lands on the ST1-ST5 starter decks, BRAVE BEGINNING and three early promos, which is exactly the material that shipped first in English. The three 2026 entries are single cards caught later.

Neither the Comprehensive Rules (ver. 1.8, dated 27 July 2026) nor the Tournament Rules document mentions errata anywhere - I searched both PDFs for the word. So the notice is the official statement of what the corrected text says, and I found no published policy text in either document describing how a judge handles a card printed before its correction. If you are heading to a sanctioned event with one of these in your 60, ask the head judge rather than guessing.

The whole errata list: 29 cards

Every entry, with the change compressed to the clause that moved and where the official card database currently stands on it.

"Split" means one printing of that card number carries the corrected text in the database and another still carries the old one. ST3-022 is filed separately as "Third text" because its second printing carries neither the printed wording nor the errata wording - more on that below.

The corrections that change what a card does

Most of the January 2025 block is translation cleanup - "the top your deck" becoming "the top of your deck" does not change a game. A handful genuinely move the card.

BS2-078 Dragon's Breath changes which side of the table the card points at. As printed it reads "Place 1 Cookie that is LV.2 or lower from your battle area into the trash" - three Purple resources to trash your own Cookie, which is a sacrifice effect. The corrected text is "Place up to 1 Cookie that is LV.2 or lower from either battle area into the trash." That is removal. Same card, same cost, and the printed version does not do the thing.

The five colour twins. BS2-004 Cherry, BS2-010 Vampire, BS2-017 Mint Choco, BS2-044 Tiramisu and BS2-075 White Choco are one design printed once per colour, and all five got the same correction. Printed, the bonus reads "If one of your opponent's Cookies is LV.1, deals 3 damage" - a board check. Corrected, it reads "If the attacked Cookie is LV.1, that Cookie receives 3 damage." The condition narrows from anywhere on their board to the Cookie you actually swung at.

ST5-006 String Gummy Cookie widens the other way: "LV.2 Cookies" becomes "LV.2 or lower Cookies," so the removal picks up Level 1 targets it did not have.

BS1-044 Bell Pepper Cookie moves a threshold. "If this Cookie's HP is less than 3" becomes "if this Cookie's HP is 3 or less", which adds exactly one HP value to the window: at exactly 3 HP the ability now works and previously did not.

BS3-013 Tiger Lily Cookie narrows a shield. "Then, any damage of 2 or more received by this Cookie is reduced to 1" became "attack damage of 2 or more". Effect damage now goes through. Our banned and restricted list covers why this card drew attention in the first place.

ST3-019 Supreme Whipped Cream is the only errata on the list that changes a card's type. It was printed with an ITEM banner and corrected to TRAP, which changes when you are allowed to play it: Comprehensive Rules 2-2-4 has Items activated from hand whenever you choose to trash them, while 2-2-5 restricts Traps to the moment your opponent declares an attack. There is a wrinkle worth knowing before you argue it across a table. Comprehensive Rules 2-2-5-1 identifies a Trap by what is printed on the card: "If a card has the text 'TRAP' written in the top-left corner of the card, the card's type is referred to as a Trap card." The Starter Deck GREEN copy of ST3-019 does not say TRAP in that corner. I am flagging that tension rather than resolving it - I have not found a published Braverse document that says which of the two statements wins.

Up to is not a typo fix

Five of the 29 corrections turn a bare "1" into "up to 1" - ST1-022, BS1-070, BS2-040, BS2-078 and BS8-103 - and a sixth, P-015, moves one from one clause to another. It is tempting to file those under grammar. They are not grammar.

The Comprehensive Rules (ver. 1.8) settle it in section 8-3-4-1: if an effect specifies a number of targets "you must choose that exact number of targets if possible. However, if the card text contains the phrase 'up to', you may choose 0." A plain "1" compels you to pick a target whenever a legal one exists. "Up to 1" lets you decline. ST1-022 wants that when your only Cookie is one you would rather not touch. BS8-103 Dark Cacao Cookie wants it because "Place up to 1 card from the top of each of your opponent's Cookies' HP into the trash" needs to work against a board where some Cookies have nothing left to strip.

P-015 Muscle Cookie is the subtle one in this family, because the "up to" does not get added - it moves. Printed, the opponent's Cookie is a hard target and your own is "up to 1". Corrected, the opponent's Cookie is "up to 1" and your own is the hard one. Under 8-3-4-1 that flips which half you can decline: printed, you can skip stripping your own HP; corrected, you cannot.

The card list still shows old text on 24 of 29

Here is the part that costs you a game rather than a pedantry argument. I pulled all 2,093 entries of the official English card database and compared each errata'd card number against the notice, printing by printing:

That is 24 of 29 card numbers where the official card list still serves pre-errata wording somewhere. If you build decks by reading the card list - which is the obvious thing to do, since it is the publisher's own database - you are reading text Devsisters corrected more than nineteen months ago.

It is not that those records predate the correction. Every entry in that stale group carries a database update timestamp of March 13, 2026 or later, well after the January 2025 errata. The database was touched; the corrections were not carried through evenly.

The counter-example makes the point sharper. BS8-103 Dark Cacao Cookie was errata'd on March 20, 2026 and both of its database entries were updated on March 30, 2026 - ten days later, with the corrected text in place. The machinery to push an errata into the card list exists and has been used inside a fortnight. It just was not pointed at the 2025 batch.

ST5-006 shows the halfway state inside one record: the database carries the corrected "LV.2 or lower Cookies" and, in the same sentence, the uncorrected "or 1 stage card from their stage area into the trash."

The fix rides in on the reprint

The Split rows all work the same way, and the two Burning Jelly Volcano printings show it most plainly.

The Cookie Run Wiki's errata page describes these as cards "corrected in future prints", and that is precisely what the images show: the original Uncommon keeps the text it was printed with, and the correction appears on the next physical printing of the card number. ST3-019 does the same thing with its banner - the Starter Deck GREEN copy says ITEM, the promo reprint says TRAP.

BS2-040 Aloe Cookie is the most recent instance. Its SR and SSR printings both still carry the January 2025 wording; the promo version added to the database on July 15, 2026 - filed under the product name 2026 Brave League Season 3, not one of the curated Legacy Pack products our reprints piece catalogues - carries the corrected "Reveal up to 1 {B} card from the viewed cards" text. In all four cases where a card number carries two different rules texts, the newer wording sits on a promotional printing rather than a booster reprint.

ST3-022 Guardian Tree's Blessing is the odd one out: its promo reprint carries neither the printed text nor the errata text, but a third wording ("Add 1 card from your support area to your hand. Then, draw up to 1 card from your deck"). I have not found a notice explaining that one, so I am flagging it rather than ruling on it.

Because the errata is delivered by reprint, a card number's correction status is bound to which printing you physically own. Card numbers, not card names, are the identity here - the card numbers explainer covers why that distinction runs through this whole game. P-104 Buttercup Cookie makes the point twice over, since the correction it received was to stop referring to itself by name and start referring to itself as [P-104].

The wiki errata page stops in March 2025

The Cookie Run Wiki maintains an errata page and it is accurate as far as it goes: I checked every entry against the official notice and the before/after text matches on all of them. What it does not have is the last three.

The wiki's errata list covers 26 cards and its newest heading is March 17, 2025. P-104 Buttercup Cookie and BS7-097 Eclair Cookie (both February 25, 2026) and BS8-103 Dark Cacao Cookie (March 20, 2026) are not on it. If you check errata on the wiki, you are working from a list that is a year behind the publisher's.

What to do with this

• Read the notice, not the card, on those 29 numbers. The errata notice is where Devsisters publishes all 29 corrections, and its own wording is that the text was corrected.
• Do not trust the card list on BS2-078. Dragon's Breath is printed and databased as a card that trashes a Cookie in your battle area; the correction makes it either battle area.
• Check which printing you own before you assume. For ST1-022, ST3-022, BS2-040 and P-104 the answer genuinely differs between printings of the same card number.
• ST3-019 is a Trap even though your starter-deck copy says ITEM. That governs when you can play it.
• Ask a judge, do not deduce. Neither the Comprehensive Rules ver. 1.8 nor the Tournament Rules mentions errata, so tournament handling is not something you can read off a page.
• The wiki will not warn you about the 2026 corrections. Three cards are missing from its list; the official notice has them.
