The Disney Lorcana card Elinor - Renowned Diplomat, a 4-ink Emerald Super Rare from Wilds Unknown numbered 86/204, with 3 Strength and 4 Willpower, showing Elinor in a hooded green cloak holding two rolled scrolls against a dark misty forest camp, with the ability Coordinated Efforts: at the end of your turn, if you have 3 or more exerted characters in play, deal 1 damage to chosen opposing character, gain 1 lore, and draw a card.

Emerald/Steel has now lost the final at both of Season 2's first two regional championships.

At the North America Championship, Sky Duntz's Emerald/Steel deck made up nearly a quarter of the field, took eleven of the Top 16's sixteen slots, and still lost the final to Amber/Amethyst. Ten days later at the European Championship in Paris, a different Emerald/Steel deck - MTM-Baoxsb's, tagged "Detectives" by the tournament tracker - went 10-2-1 across the weekend, made the final again, and lost again. The winner this time wasn't Amber/Amethyst. It was Amber/Emerald, piloted by [OSA] Moluk under the archetype name "Elinor."

Ravensburger has not yet published its own recap of this event the way it did for North America - that recap ran two days after that tournament closed. What follows comes from Fanfinity, the tournament organizer that ran the European Championship's bracket on Ravensburger's behalf, via its results database on inkdecks.com: the final standings, the Top 16, and the archetypes behind them.

The event: 200 players, two hotels at Disneyland Paris

Disney Lorcana's European Championship ran September 11-13, 2026, split across two Disneyland Paris hotels - the Disney Newport Bay Club and the Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel - per Ravensburger's own Disney Lorcana Challenge page. The main event field was 200 players: 160 who had already qualified through the season's Challenge events, 24 from Challenge Championship Qualifiers, and the last 16 from a Friday Last Chance Qualifier. Format was Core Constructed, sets 9 through 13 - Fabled onward, the pool detailed in our sets-in-order breakdown.

The published schedule matches North America's: Saturday is Swiss, cutting the field to a Top 16, and Sunday plays that Top 16 down to a champion in best-of-five single elimination.

The final: Moluk's Elinor deck over Baoxsb's Detectives

[OSA] Moluk🍣🍜🍢 finished 1st with an Amber/Emerald deck that Fanfinity's tracker tags "Elinor," going 11-1-1 across the weekend. MTM-Baoxsb finished 2nd with an Emerald/Steel deck tagged "Detectives," going 10-2-1. In a single-elimination bracket, first and second place are the two players who met in the final by definition - both records also sum to 13 matches, which checks out against nine Swiss rounds plus up to four single-elimination rounds for a player who reaches the championship match.

The archetype name almost certainly comes from Elinor - Renowned Diplomat, an Emerald Super Rare from Wilds Unknown. Her Coordinated Efforts ability - "at the end of your turn, if you have 3 or more exerted characters in play, deal 1 damage to chosen opposing character, gain 1 lore, and draw a card" - rewards exactly the kind of wide, tapped-out board an Amber/Emerald lore-and-swarm deck ends most turns holding.

One gap worth being upfront about: Ravensburger's North America recap gave an explicit game score for that final (3-1). No equivalent recap of the European final exists yet, so the game-by-game score isn't confirmed anywhere public as of this post - what's confirmed is the bracket result itself, Moluk over Baoxsb.

Full standings: the Top 16 (and a handful more)

Here is the full bracket result, exactly as Fanfinity's tracker reports it. Names are tournament handles as recorded on the platform; no official Ravensburger recap with full names has been published for this event yet.

Beyond the Top 16, Fanfinity's tracker records six more decks that reached the wider bracket without a full Top 16 finish: two Top 32 entries (an Amber/Emerald "Songs" build and an Emerald/Steel "Detectives" list literally named "Dark(wing) and a prayer"), three Top 64 entries, and one Top 128 entry - all detailed in the meta breakdown below.

What the meta looked like, with a caveat

Ravensburger's North America recap gave a hard number for the full 136-player field on day one: Emerald/Steel at 24.4%. Nothing equivalent exists yet for Europe. Fanfinity's tracker has 22 decklists recorded for this event, not all 200 - effectively the Top 16 plus the handful of other decks players or organizers submitted separately. Read the numbers below as a snapshot of the competitively strongest decks that got their lists recorded, not a random sample of the full field.

By ink pair, across those 22 recorded decks:

Ink pairDecksShare
Amber/Emerald836%
Emerald/Steel523%
Emerald/Sapphire418%
Amber/Amethyst314%
Amethyst/Ruby15%
Amethyst/Emerald15%

By named archetype, the same 22 decks split into Detectives (5), Elinor (5), Mickey & Minnie (4), Midrange (3), Songs (2), Damaged (1), Retro (1) and Actions (1).

Three of those namesake cards are worth a closer look. Saddler_hs's 3rd-place Emerald/Sapphire deck is named for Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse - Adventuring Duo, an Attack of the Vine! Legendary that Shifts onto an existing Mickey Mouse and an existing Minnie Mouse for free and, if it would be banished, goes into the inkwell facedown instead of dying - a body built to survive removal rather than just deal with it.

The Disney Lorcana card Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse - Adventuring Duo, a 7-ink Emerald/Sapphire Legendary from Attack of the Vine! numbered 99/207, with 5 Strength and 5 Willpower, showing Mickey Mouse in an explorer outfit holding a lantern and taking Minnie Mouse's hand as they step through a glowing green portal, with Duo Shift 0 Ink onto a Mickey Mouse and a Minnie Mouse and the ability Thinking of You: if this character would be banished, put them into your inkwell facedown and exerted instead.

Alessandro Danesi's lone Amethyst/Ruby "Damaged" list was one of two decks in the 22 not sharing an ink pair with anything else in the field - the other being Cav0's Amethyst/Emerald "Retro" build. Neither Fanfinity's tracker nor Ravensburger has published either deck's full 60 cards.

One two-ink card worth knowing from the same set: Aladdin & Genie - Mischievous Pals, an Amethyst/Emerald Super Rare from Attack of the Vine! that Shifts onto an existing Aladdin or Genie and lets its controller bottom any number of cards from hand to redraw the same number plus one - built for decks running both those inks, which rules out Danesi's Amethyst/Ruby list above.

The Disney Lorcana card Aladdin & Genie - Mischievous Pals, a 5-ink Amethyst/Emerald Super Rare from Attack of the Vine! numbered 59/207, with 3 Strength and 3 Willpower, showing Aladdin sitting cross-legged trading coins with a grinning blue Genie beside a small campfire and a pink lantern-lit tent, with the keyword Shift 3 Ink onto a character named Aladdin or Genie and the ability Sleight of Hand: when played, you may put any number of cards from your hand on the bottom of your deck and draw that many plus one.

And the five-deck Emerald/Steel "Detectives" cluster is the same ink pairing that built around Darkwing Duck's kit at North America ten days earlier - Ravensburger's own recap of that event listed Angela - Night Warrior at four copies in its published 60-card Emerald/Steel sample, and her Shadow Power (granting Challenger +2 and Resist +2 on play) is a tempo tool that fits a deck trying to win combat math rather than race on lore.

The Disney Lorcana card Angela - Night Warrior, a 3-ink Steel Super Rare from Winterspell numbered 187/204, with 2 Strength and 3 Willpower, showing Angela the gargoyle mid-flight against a starry purple night sky above rooftops, with the ability Shadow Power: when played, you may give chosen character Challenger +2 and Resist +2 until the start of your next turn, and Eternal Night: your Gargoyle characters lose the Stone by Day ability.

Two championships, one repeat runner-up

Line the two events up and the pattern is specific, not vague: North America's champion ran Amber/Amethyst; Europe's ran Amber/Emerald. Different partner ink, same anchor color. What repeated exactly was the runner-up - an Emerald/Steel deck built around a tempo-and-removal plan reached the final of both of Season 2's first two regional championships, and lost both times. That is a fact about two specific events, not a claim about the format at large; a two-event sample is not evidence Emerald/Steel can't win a championship, only that it hasn't yet.

Who's headed to the World Championship

Ravensburger's Disney Lorcana Challenge page states that the top 8 finishers at each regional championship earn an invitation to the season two World Championship - the same rule that sent North America's Top 8 forward. Europe's eight are Moluk, Baoxsb, Saddler_hs, CarlGoBoom, Cav0, Neoh, Alessandro Danesi and IKO_xsolution, per the standings above.

Multiple outlets that covered the European Championship weekend - including MickeyBlog and LaughingPlace - reported that Ravensburger used the event to announce the World Championship itself: December 4-6, 2026, at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, on Oahu, Hawaii. As of this post, that date and venue had not yet appeared on Ravensburger's own news page or Challenge page, so treat it as reported rather than officially confirmed until Ravensburger publishes it directly.
