Genshin 7.1 Phase 2 Events: Rewards and Deadlines
Phase II of Genshin 7.1 adds three events, but most of the confirmed Primogems still on the table come from two holdovers that close eleven hours apart on November 3. Carefree Snowball Fight adds 420 more until it closes at 03:59 on November 2. Here is the calendar in deadline order and what each event pays.

What Phase II Actually Adds
HoYoverse's Version 7.1 Events Preview for Phase II, posted October 12, 2026, introduces three events: Predictive Victory Dynamics, Carefree Snowball Fight and Overflowing Favor. The rest of it carries over from earlier in the version, or from Version 7.0: both anniversary selectors, the anniversary login event, Stygian Onslaught, the Imaginarium Theater and a Snezhnaya exploration bonus first announced in August.
The holdovers are where most of the Primogems still on the table are. Across the phase, two of the new events pay Primogems: up to 420 from Predictive Victory Dynamics and 420 from Carefree Snowball Fight. Overflowing Favor doubles domain rewards instead. Predictive Victory Dynamics closed its last round on October 19, though, so of the confirmed Primogems still claimable, Carefree Snowball Fight supplies 420 and two holdovers, Stygian Onslaught and The Godforsaken Frostlands, supply 850. Predictive Victory Dynamics also showed that the first deadline to matter was not November 3: round 4, the last round a player could join and still reach its 60-Primogem five-round milestone, closed on October 15.
The two rerun banners are the part you can plan least urgently. Skirk's "Void Star's Advent" and Escoffier's "La Chanson Cerise" run from 18:00 on October 13 to 14:59 on November 3, server time, per HoYoverse's Phase II wish notice. How to build each one is in our Skirk build guide and Escoffier build guide. This post covers the events around them.

The Phase II Calendar in Deadline Order
Times are server time, the same clock your region's 04:00 daily reset runs on, unless a time zone is given. Predictive Victory Dynamics is the exception: HoYoverse publishes its times in UTC-4.
| When | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 15, 21:59 (UTC-4) | Predictive Victory Dynamics round 4 closes | The last round a player could join and still play the five rounds its 60-Primogem milestone needed |
| Oct 16 | New Spiral Abyss season | Floor buffs are in our Skirk guide; payouts in our Spiral Abyss guide |
| Oct 19, 03:59 | Resplendent Starlight login event closes | October 18 was the last login day that counted |
| Oct 19, 21:59 (UTC-4) | Predictive Victory Dynamics' last round closes | Results run to Oct 22, 21:59 (UTC-4) |

| Oct 22, 03:59 | Starlit Gala: Wonderland Selects closes | See our Miliastra Wonderland guide |
| Oct 26, 04:00 | Overflowing Favor opens | Have 60 Original Resin ready each day |
| Nov 1 | New Imaginarium Theater season | Rules in our Imaginarium Theater guide |
| Nov 2, 03:59 | Overflowing Favor and Carefree Snowball Fight close | |
| Nov 3, 03:59 | Stygian Onslaught closes | Eleven hours before the banners do |
| Nov 3, 14:59 | The Godforsaken Frostlands bonus, both anniversary selectors and both Phase II banners close | |
| Nov 4 | Version 7.2, "Hour of Ruin," releases | Per HoYoverse's 7.2 Events Overview |
The Stygian Onslaught line is the one to circle. HoYoverse's event notice ends this iteration, which the wiki titles "Luminous Battlefront," at 03:59 on November 3. Treat November 3 as one big deadline day and an 11-hour gap can cost you the 450 Primogems it pays. How its six difficulties and rewards work is in our Stygian Onslaught guide. The next version is now dated: after its Version 7.2 Special Program premiered on October 23, HoYoverse posted a 7.2 Events Overview on HoYoLAB that gives November 4, 2026 as the release date of Version 7.2, "Hour of Ruin."
Where the Primogems Are
These are the Primogems Phase II pays an account that has claimed none of them yet:
| Source | Primogems | Closes | What it takes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stygian Onslaught: Luminous Battlefront | 450 | Nov 3, 03:59 | One clear on Hard. A clear also pays the rewards of each easier difficulty, and Hard still allows co-op matchmaking |
| Predictive Victory Dynamics | 420 from round 1 (260 for taking part, 160 for score); at most 360 if you start in round 4 | Oct 19, 21:59 (UTC-4) | Adventure Rank 20 and Prologue: Act III. One prediction per round |
| The Godforsaken Frostlands | 400 | Nov 3, 14:59 | A Snezhnaya World Quest series and 80% exploration across five 7.0 areas |
| Carefree Snowball Fight | 420, 70 at each 1,000 Snowball Cheer up to 6,000 | Nov 2, 03:59 | Adventure Rank 20, Prologue: Act III and the Archon Quest "Gunfire in the Silent Lands." Snowball Cheer is capped at 2,000 at first, and the cap rises on Day 3 and Day 5 to 6,000 |
| Resplendent Starlight | None, but 10 Intertwined Fates | Oct 19, 03:59 | 7 login days |
Across the phase, that is up to 1,690 confirmed Primogems for an account that made a prediction in all eight rounds and reached a Prediction Score of 8,000, or up to 1,630 for one that started Predictive Victory Dynamics in round 4. At 160 Primogems a pull, that is a little over ten pulls either way; add the ten Intertwined Fates and it is just over 20. Predictive Victory Dynamics' last round and the Resplendent Starlight login event both closed on October 19, so what an account can still claim is the other three rows: 1,270 Primogems, just under eight pulls. The Spiral Abyss, the Imaginarium Theater and Miliastra Wonderland pay on top of that; our guides to each are linked in the calendar above. The total also leaves out the four 400-Primogem anniversary mails tied to the September 28 to October 1 login dates; their rules are under Anniversary Loose Ends below.
Predictive Victory Dynamics: 260 of 420 Are for Showing Up

You don't fight in this one. HoYoverse's notice describes 8 rounds of simulated battles, each open for predictions for 24 hours, and its event flyer says 16 teams are about to battle it out. Each round you get a set number of Victory Emblems and assign them to the side you think will win. When the round ends, you get a Prediction Score based on how many emblems you placed and whether your side won.
The in-game tutorial, as the wiki transcribes it, adds three things worth knowing before you place anything:
- Pressing a unit's portrait shows its ATK, Max HP and combat skills.
- Both sides start losing HP continuously once a battle has run for a set time.
- Each side's Support Rate locks at a set time before the battle. If your side wins, that rate changes your score multiplier.
The reward track, per the wiki's tables:
| Objective | Primogems | Also pays |
|---|---|---|
| Take part in a round (repeats each round, 8 times) | 20 each, 160 total | 20,000 Mora each |
| Take part in 3 rounds in total | 40 | 40,000 Mora |
| Take part in 5 rounds in total | 60 | 6 Sanctifying Unction |
| Prediction Score 2,000, 4,000, 6,000 and 8,000 | 40 each, 160 total | 2 Natlan talent books each |
| Prediction Score 10,000 to 16,000 (four steps) | None | Mora, talent books, Sanctifying Unction |
Showing up is worth 260 Primogems, and picking well is worth 160. Past a score of 8,000 the track pays no Primogems at all. The wiki also lists a Battle Pass mission worth 1,500 BP EXP for taking part in 5 rounds.
The requirements were Adventure Rank 20 and Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, "Song of the Dragon and Freedom." HoYoverse also suggested finishing Chapter VII: Act IV first, but that was a recommendation, not a gate.
The Round Clock
HoYoverse publishes this event's times in UTC-4 rather than server time and warns that its timing is "quite unusual." A round's participation reward was gone once its 24 hours ran out. The table below is worked out from HoYoverse's start time, its 24-hour prediction window and a competition period exactly eight days long; the in-game timer was the final word.
| Round | Opens (UTC-4) | Closes (UTC-4) | Closes (UTC+8) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Oct 11, 22:00 | Oct 12, 21:59 | Oct 13, 09:59 |
| 2 | Oct 12, 22:00 | Oct 13, 21:59 | Oct 14, 09:59 |
| 3 | Oct 13, 22:00 | Oct 14, 21:59 | Oct 15, 09:59 |
| 4 | Oct 14, 22:00 | Oct 15, 21:59 | Oct 16, 09:59 |
| 5 | Oct 15, 22:00 | Oct 16, 21:59 | Oct 17, 09:59 |
| 6 | Oct 16, 22:00 | Oct 17, 21:59 | Oct 18, 09:59 |
| 7 | Oct 17, 22:00 | Oct 18, 21:59 | Oct 19, 09:59 |
| 8 | Oct 18, 22:00 | Oct 19, 21:59 | Oct 20, 09:59 |
All eight rounds have now closed, the last at 21:59 (UTC-4) on October 19. What a late start cost, before any score rewards:
- Join in round 3: 6 rounds, 120 + 40 + 60 = 220 Primogems.
- Join in round 4: 5 rounds, 100 + 40 + 60 = 200. This was the last round that still reached the five-round milestone, and with the full 160 from the score track it capped a round-4 start at 360.
- Join in round 5: 4 rounds, 80 + 40 = 120. The 60-Primogem milestone was gone.
- Join in round 6: 3 rounds, 60 + 40 = 100. After round 6, only the per-round 20s were left.
Overflowing Favor: 21 Doubled Artifact Claims

HoYoverse's preview sums it up as "Double drops with Artifacts." From 04:00 on October 26 to 03:59 on November 2, clearing a Domain of Blessing and claiming with Original Resin pays double rewards, "up to 3 times a day." HoYoverse's event notice, posted on HoYoLAB on October 24, gives the same dates and adds two requirements: Adventure Rank 20, and the domain must already be activated.
Seven server days, October 26 through November 1, at three doubles each is 21 doubled claims. At 20 Original Resin a claim, that is 420 Original Resin earning 840 resin's worth of drops.
Three rules from the wiki's page for the recurring event decide how you spend them:
- Condensed Resin can't claim the double. A Condensed Resin claim pays its usual rewards and nothing extra.
- A Stellar Reunion Reunion Blessing goes first. If you are a returning player with that bonus active, it is used up before the Overflowing Favor doubles.
- A doubled claim doubles everything, Companionship EXP and Adventure EXP included.
Here is the number that decides your resin plan. Three doubled claims cost 60 Original Resin, and Original Resin regenerates at 1 every 8 minutes, or 180 a day, per the wiki. The event's daily cap is a third of one day's regeneration. You don't need a Fragile Resin stockpile to use every double; you need 60 Original Resin on hand each day, before you spend the rest on talent books or bosses. Fragile Resin only helps on a day you would otherwise be short. Our resin management guide covers the rest of the resin budget.
One open question: domains also offer a 40-Resin claim for two sets of rewards at once, and neither HoYoverse's preview nor the wiki says how that interacts with a daily double. Three 20-Resin claims a day is the plan that leaves nothing to chance.
Which Domain to Point It At
If you're building one of 7.1's four featured 5-stars, these are the sets our build guides recommend, with the domains the wiki lists for them:
| Building | Set | Domain |
|---|---|---|
| Skirk | Finale of the Deep Galleries | Derelict Masonry Dock, Atocpan, Natlan |
| Escoffier | Golden Troupe | Denouement of Sin, Belleau Region, Fontaine |
| Vesna | Scarlet Proof on her, Heart of the Furnace on a teammate | Inverted Glacier, Everfrozen Earth, Snezhnaya |
| Vodyanitsa | Heart of the Furnace or Ocean-Hued Clam | Inverted Glacier; Slumbering Court, Seirai Island, Inazuma |
One tiebreaker. The wiki's list of Artifact Strongbox sets includes Finale of the Deep Galleries, Golden Troupe and Ocean-Hued Clam, but not Scarlet Proof or Heart of the Furnace. A Strongbox, unlocked at Adventure Rank 45, turns three 5-star artifacts from any set into one random piece of a set you choose. So off-set drops can be converted into Skirk's, Escoffier's or Vodyanitsa's Clam set. The wiki's pages for the two Snezhnaya sets list only Inverted Glacier, but the sets also come from the Spiral Abyss. HoYoverse's Version 7.0 update notes put Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace into the Domain Reliquary: Tier I and Tier II rewards from Floors 9 to 12, in place of Disenchantment in Deep Shadow and Celestial Gift, starting with the August 16 season, and the 7.1 notes don't change that. Per the wiki, those reliquaries come from clearing Chamber 3 of Floors 9 to 12. A Tier I opens into a random 5-star piece of one of the two sets, and a Tier II into a random 4-star piece from five sets that include both. That route pays out only as you clear the Abyss, and Overflowing Favor doubles Domain of Blessing claims, not Abyss rewards. So if you're short on both kinds, put the doubles on Inverted Glacier and feed your spare 5-stars into Strongboxes for the rest. The general farming maths is in our artifact guide.
Carefree Snowball Fight: What Is Confirmed

HoYoverse's preview gives the dates, 10:00 on October 21 to 03:59 on November 2, and calls it "the fun throwing challenge," with rewards "including Primogems and a Special Furnishing." The event has been live since October 21. HoYoverse's event notice on HoYoLAB sets three requirements: Adventure Rank 20, Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, and the Chapter VII quest "Gunfire in the Silent Lands." It also caps Snowball Cheer, the score the rewards are paid on, at 2,000 from the first day, and raises the cap on Day 3 and again on Day 5 to a maximum of 6,000.
HoYoverse still hasn't published a Primogem total: its notice shows the rewards only as icons, with no counts. The Genshin Impact Wiki's reward table, filled in on October 21 after the event opened, pays 70 Primogems at each 1,000 Snowball Cheer from 1,000 to 6,000, 420 in all, and Game8's event guide gives the same 420. That 420 is counted in the confirmed total above. The event closes at the same moment as Overflowing Favor, 03:59 on November 2. How a match turns into Snowball Cheer, and what the cap means for your schedule, is in our Carefree Snowball Fight guide.
The Godforsaken Frostlands Bonus Ends With the Version

This one is from Version 7.0 and was announced back in August. HoYoverse's notice opened it with the 7.0 update and closes it at 14:59 on November 3, 2026, alongside the banners. The wiki breaks the 400 down like this:
| Task | Primogems |
|---|---|
| Complete the World Quest series "Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard" | 100 |
| Reach 40% total Exploration Progress across Volkodlak Tundra, Everfrozen Earth, Fellfrost Peak, Flamefeather Valley and White Birch Snowgrave | 100 |
| Reach 60% across the same five areas | 100 |
| Reach 80% across the same five areas | 100 |
Exploring freely needs the Archon Quest "Gunfire in the Silent Lands." The quest line is the slow part: the wiki says "Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard" only starts after three earlier World Quest series, "Hesperides of Love and Hate," "In the Dwelling of Life" and "On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb." If you haven't started that chain, start it this week rather than in the last few days. The region's domains, bosses and specialties are mapped in our Snezhnaya farming guide.
Anniversary Loose Ends
Phase II carried three anniversary items. One has closed and two are still open:
- Resplendent Starlight login event (closed). HoYoverse's notice ran it from 04:00 on October 1 to 03:59 on October 19, Adventure Rank 5 and above, with 10 Intertwined Fates over 7 total login days. Day 7 alone paid 5 of them, and October 18 was the last server day that counted.
- Missive of Grace mails. The four 400-Primogem anniversary mails tied to the September 28 to October 1 login dates "can be collected until the end of" the event, which runs to the end of Version 7.1, per the same notice. Each mail expires 30 days after it arrives, so open your mailbox rather than letting them sit.
- Both anniversary selectors close at 14:59 on November 3. The limited one needs Chapter VII: Act IV finished. Which name to pick is in our anniversary selector guide, and the rest of the version is in our 7.1 release guide.
More Genshin coverage lives on the Genshin Impact coverage hub, and the rest of our game guides are on the Mythras blog.
Quick Action Checklist
- Clear Stygian Onslaught on Hard for 450 Primogems before it closes at 03:59 on November 3, not 14:59.
- Finish "Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard" and reach 80% exploration across the five Snezhnaya 7.0 areas for 400 Primogems by 14:59 on November 3.
- From October 26 to November 1, spend 60 Original Resin a day on three doubled Domain of Blessing claims; Condensed Resin doesn't count.
- Point the doubles at Inverted Glacier if you're building Vesna or Vodyanitsa; the wiki lists no Strongbox route for its two sets. Clearing Chamber 3 of Spiral Abyss Floors 9 to 12 also pays Domain Reliquaries that can open into either set.
- Reach 6,000 Snowball Cheer in Carefree Snowball Fight before it closes at 03:59 on November 2 for all 420 of its Primogems.
- Claim the anniversary mails within 30 days of arrival, and use both selectors before 14:59 on November 3.
