Tears of the Kingdom Paraglider Fabrics: All 57 Sources
Mineru's Construct amiibo went on sale September 17, 2026, and its one exclusive drop is a paraglider skin. That makes 29 fabrics you can only get from a figure, against 28 you earn by playing. Here is where every one comes from, which figure drops which, and the per-scan odds from Zelda Wiki's datamined tables.

Mineru's Construct amiibo went on sale on September 17, 2026, and Tears of the Kingdom was ready for it more than 15 months early. Zelda Wiki notes the figure's drop table shipped in Ver. 1.4.0, the June 3, 2025 patch whose notes only name the Sidon, Tulin, Yunobo and Riju figures. Scan it and the one thing it gives you that no amount of play can is a paraglider skin, the Sage of Spirit Fabric.
That is the whole fabric system in one figure. Zelda Wiki lists 58 paraglider designs: the default Ordinary Fabric plus 57 you collect. Twenty-eight come from playing. The other 29 only come out of a specific amiibo, and per Zelda Wiki they are the only amiibo-exclusive items in the game, Epona aside. This guide covers both halves: where every earnable fabric is, which figure drops each of the rest, and the odds per scan, worked out from the datamined drop tables Zelda Wiki publishes.
A fabric is a 20-rupee job at Sayge's
Every fabric goes through one man: Sayge at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village. His Fabric Reworking Service costs 20 rupees. Hand him a fabric and it leaves your inventory and becomes a permanent option on his menu, so changing your mind later costs another 20 rupees, not another hunt. The Ordinary Fabric never appears as an item, so it needs nothing handed over.
Sayge is also the biggest single source of fabrics on the list below. He gives you the Cece Fabric for talking to him, and nine more come out of a photo job he starts. That is 10 of the 28 earnable fabrics from one dye shop.
One warning on other lists: Thonky's fabric list has 50 entries. It is missing Addison's Fabric and seven amiibo fabrics: Princess Zelda, Gerudo-King and the five Sage fabrics, all from figures released from November 2023 onward. Zelda Wiki's list of 58 includes all eight.

Ten from Sayge and a camera
"Photographing a Chuchu" starts with Sayge wanting a visual reference for a new fabric: a good look at a common blue Chuchu. Bring him the picture and you get the Chuchu Fabric. After that, per Zelda Wiki, he offers to make more if you bring him the right reference material, and eight more subjects pay one fabric each.
What he wants is the picture. The quest asks for a photo, not a kill, so the Lynel and Gleeok shots are a long-range job. Our Lynel guide has all 34 spots on Thonky's list, and the Monster Medals guide has the habitats Zelda Wiki gives for the Gleeoks. The Cece Fabric is the tenth, and it costs nothing but the walk to Hateno. Thonky says Sayge hands it over the first time you talk to him.
The four completion fabrics
Four fabrics are rewards for finishing a whole collection, and the size of the job varies a lot:
| Fabric | The job | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Robbie's Fabric | Register every Hyrule Compendium entry | 509 |
| Koltin's Fabric | Hand over every Bubbul Gem | 147 |
| Addison's Fabric | Prop up every Hudson Construction signboard | 81 |
| Monster-Control-Crew Fabric | Finish every "Bring Peace to...!" Side Adventure | 6 |
Robbie's is the steepest price on this list. Zelda Wiki counts 509 Compendium entries, and the Compendium itself stays locked until you help Robbie in the "Camera Work in the Depths" Main Quest. What 509 entries buy you is a yellow canopy that the item description calls a Purah Pad design.

Koltin's is the 147-cave sweep, one gem per Bubbulfrog, and our cave guide has his full trade ladder. Before you hand in the last gem, check your version: Nintendo's Ver. 1.2.1 notes list a fix for an event that would not trigger when talking to Koltin after collecting all of the Bubbul Gems.
Addison's 81 signboards are the same boards our rupee guide counts as a small source of Red Rupees and materials, so the fabric lands on top of rewards you were already collecting.
The crew fabric is a relay. Gralens's Monster-Control Crew sends out three squads, and each captain asks for help twice: Hoz in Hyrule Field and then Necluda, Toren in Eldin and then Akkala, Flaxel in Faron and then Hebra. Zelda Wiki's quest pages attach the fabric to whichever second-stage quest you finish last, so it comes from that captain.
The ones with a catch
- Zonai Fabric is a one-shot ceremony. A Steward Construct appears on the Temple of Time roof once you have cleared any two Regional Phenomena temples and own the Zora Armor. It asks you to light three bonfires on the Great Sky Island between the Time Bell's 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM tolls without touching the island's ground; the Temple of Time roof is the only allowed footing. The waterfall islands it spawns are built for Zora Armor climbing, but Zelda Wiki notes Zonai devices work too. Once you pass, the ceremony is gone for good.
- Gerudo Fabric wants speed. The Desert Race opens after "Riju of Gerudo Town". Thonky puts the fabric at a finish of 2:30 or less, and Zelda Wiki's Paraglider page gives the same 2:30 mark.
- Yiga Fabric wants a disguise. Wear the Yiga Clan Attire into the Yiga Clan Hideout and the Blademaster lets you into Yiga Clan Training at 100 rupees a go, with the first attempt free. Defeat three Footsoldiers inside the minute for the fabric, which depicts Master Kohga. Six earns the Earthwake Manual and nine the Lightning Helm.
- Zonai Survey Team Fabric starts with a crash. After you awaken your first sage, a sky island falls into the pond at Lookout Landing. Wortsworth wants pictures of 13 stone tablets, shown to him in Kakariko Village.
- Horse-God Fabric is a ledger reward. It sits at 5 Pony Points, two points after the Towing Harness in our horse guide.
The 29 only an amiibo can drop

Here is how a scan works, per Zelda Wiki's write-up of the datamined tables. A Zelda figure spawns some materials plus a treasure chest. The chest holds a common BigHit item 80% of the time and a rare GreatHit item 20% of the time, and every fabric sits in the GreatHit pool. Once a figure has given you its fabric it never drops it again, and the rest of its table scales up to fill the gap. Most figures can only be scanned once a day.
The table is the whole amiibo half, sorted by odds. The last column is my arithmetic: the 20% GreatHit roll times the fabric's share of that roll. Mirror of Twilight appears twice because Wolf Link's table works differently.
| Fabric | Figure | Shares the rare roll with | Per scan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Champion's Leathers Fabric | Link (Tears of the Kingdom) | Nothing | 20% |
| Princess Zelda Fabric | Zelda (Tears of the Kingdom) | Nothing | 20% |
| Gerudo-King Fabric | Ganondorf (Tears of the Kingdom) | Nothing | 20% |
| Sage of Wind Fabric | Tulin | Nothing | 20% |
| Sage of Fire Fabric | Yunobo | Nothing | 20% |
| Sage of Water Fabric | Sidon | Nothing | 20% |
| Sage of Lightning Fabric | Riju | Nothing | 20% |
| Sage of Spirit Fabric | Mineru's Construct | Nothing | 20% |
| Tunic of Memories Fabric | Link (Archer) | Nothing | 20% |
| Hylian-Hood Fabric | Link (Rider) | Nothing | 20% |
| Hyrule-Princess Fabric | Zelda (Breath of the Wild) | Nothing | 20% |
| Bokoblin Fabric | Bokoblin | Nothing | 20% |
| Ancient-Sheikah Fabric | Guardian | Nothing | 20% |
| Goddess Fabric | Zelda and Loftwing | Nothing | 20% |
| Zora-Champion Fabric | Mipha | Vah Ruta Divine Helm | 10% |
| Goron-Champion Fabric | Daruk | Vah Rudania Divine Helm | 10% |
| Rito-Champion Fabric | Revali | Vah Medoh Divine Helm | 10% |
| Gerudo-Champion Fabric | Urbosa | Vah Naboris Divine Helm | 10% |
| Sheik Fabric | Sheik (Smash Bros.) | Sheik's Mask | 10% |
| Princess of Twilight Fabric | Zelda (Smash Bros.) | Dusk Bow | 10% |
| Demon King Fabric | Ganondorf (Smash Bros.) | Dusk Claymore | 10% |
| Bygone-Royal Fabric | Zelda (The Wind Waker) | Sea-Breeze Shield | 10% |
| Mirror of Twilight Fabric | Link (Smash Bros.) or Link (Twilight Princess) | Cap, Tunic and Trousers of Twilight | 5% |
| Mirror of Twilight Fabric | Wolf Link | Nothing; no BigHit pool listed | Not stated |
| Lon Lon Ranch Fabric | Link (Ocarina of Time) or Young Link (Smash Bros.) | Time set, Biggoron's Sword | 4% |
| King of Red Lions Fabric | Toon Link (The Wind Waker) or Toon Link (Smash Bros.) | Wind set, Sea-Breeze Boomerang | 4% |
| Pixel Fabric | Link (The Legend of Zelda) | Hero set, Sword of the Hero | 4% |
| Majora's Mask Fabric | Link (Majora's Mask) | Fierce Deity set, Fierce Deity Sword | 4% |
| Sword-Spirit Fabric | Link (Skyward Sword) | Sky set, White Sword of the Sky | 4% |
| Egg Fabric | Link (Link's Awakening) | Awakening set | 4%* |
*Zelda Wiki's Link's Awakening table lists the fabric and three Awakening pieces at 20% each, which only adds up to 80%, so the true share may be a quarter rather than a fifth.
Thirty-three figures cover 29 fabrics, because three fabrics have more than one figure that drops them. If you already own a Smash Bros. Link, you do not need the Twilight Princess Link or Wolf Link for the Mirror of Twilight Fabric.
What the odds mean
Fourteen figures guarantee their fabric by the fifth scan. Zelda Wiki's write-up has a pity rule: if a figure gives four BigHit items in a row, its next scan is a GreatHit. On the 14 figures where the fabric is the only GreatHit, that means scan five at the latest, which is five days at one scan a day. On average it lands around scan 3.4, by my arithmetic. All eight Tears of the Kingdom-series figures are in this group, Mineru's Construct included.
Eight figures split the rare roll 50/50. Each GreatHit is either the fabric or one other item, so it is 10% a scan. Every one of those eight other items also exists in the game without a figure: the four Divine Helms come from side quests given by Tulin, Bludo, Sidon and Riju, listed in our sages guide, Sheik's Mask and the Sea-Breeze Shield from Old Maps, the Dusk Bow from the Hyrule Castle Bell Tower roof, and the Dusk Claymore from "Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins".
Ten Link figures are legacy-armor dispensers with a fabric attached. The fabric shares the rare roll with three armor pieces, plus a weapon on most of them, which puts it at 4% to 5% a scan. The pity rule still forces a GreatHit at least every fifth scan, but the fabric is only one of the four or five things that GreatHit can be. And most of what it competes with can be dug up instead: Zelda Wiki's Old Map table puts the Hero, Time, Wind, Twilight and Sky sets in Depths chests, along with Biggoron's Sword, the Sword of the Hero and the Sea-Breeze Boomerang. The fabric is the part you cannot dig up. Our untouched weapons guide has the Old Map chests for those three weapons plus the amiibo routes to Biggoron's Sword, the Fierce Deity Sword and the White Sword of the Sky, and the Depths guide covers the Old Maps themselves.
Three more rules before you start scanning:
- Non-Zelda amiibo never drop a fabric. Zelda Wiki's default table for unrecognized figures is a few herbs, mushrooms and fruit plus a Raw Prime Meat, with no chest.
- The first scan of a Smash Bros. or Twilight Princess Link summons Epona instead of any items, unless you are in the sky or the Depths, where horses are not allowed. That scan gives no chest.
- On the Switch 2 Edition, Zelda Notes adds a bonus scan. Nintendo says that after you scan a compatible figure five times, you get a bonus use of that figure that day. The rest of Zelda Notes is in our Switch 2 Edition guide.
Mineru's Construct, the newest figure

The September figure is unusual in two ways. Its table is the only one of the 33 figure tables on Zelda Wiki that drops Zonaite or Construct gear: four Iron Boxes, three to five rare-item rolls for Zonaite at 20% each, and a chest holding a Construct Bow, a Strong Construct Bow or a Zonaite Bow, with the last two locked until you have finished the Great Sky Island and visited the Depths respectively. And its fabric changes with the light. Zelda Wiki says the Sage of Spirit Fabric's third eye glows in caves, in the Depths and between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, which is what the screenshot above shows.
Nintendo's store page lists the figure as working with Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, with random items in all three and the fabric only in Tears of the Kingdom. If Mineru's construct is the sage you lean on, the sages guide covers what she does in a fight. For the same system in the last game, where amiibo paid out gear rather than fabrics, see our Breath of the Wild amiibo guide.
More Hyrule lives on the Tears of the Kingdom hub, and everything else we are playing is on the Mythras blog.
Quick Action Checklist

- Champion, Smash Zelda, Sheik and Ganondorf, and Wind Waker Zelda figures: 10% a scan. Legacy Link figures: 4% to 5%.
- Non-Zelda amiibo never drop a fabric.
- Mineru's Construct (September 17, 2026) drops the Sage of Spirit Fabric, whose third eye glows at night, in caves and in the Depths.
